    8. Aerosoft Updater and Livery Installer

The Aerosoft Updater and Livery Installer have now been replaced by Aerosoft One. This updater is only for legacy products that do not yet support Aerosoft One and still require this tool.

    9. Flightplan Visualizer

Flightplan Visualizer is a tool that helps you find suitable flights. Select the aircraft type, airline, and airport and you see exactly what routes real airlines fly.  No longer do you have to spend a lot of time deciding where to fly next, just follow the real aircraft!

    • Hi guys! I updated my CRJ (for MSFS2020) via the Aerosoft One app. It currently has Aerosoft Aircraft CRJ V2 installed, version 2.0.11. When I load the aircraft (CRJ700) and start the EFB I noticed that the new Flightplan and Charts tabs are missing at the top and the version in the bottom left corner says AeroOS 1.0. I completely uninstalled the old version before installing CRJ V2 so I'm really at a loss as to why there is a discrepancy. Any ideas on what is going on?
    • That’s the post I was referring to when I said it had been mentioned before. I submitted a ticket as well.   It seems like it’s a low priority item since it hasn’t been addressed, but I wish the developer could at least acknowledge it’s an issue and eventually take steps to fix it. Keeping my fingers crossed.
    • Hm. I'm old enough to say, I've seen many errors caused by the Internet or by servers who are not online for 15 years or more without maintenance.   But I can say, today is the first day in 2025 when I see them completely offline:   https://forums.jetphotos.com/   Let's see when they come back again. Hopefully before the end of the weekend.   This topic is free for everyone. Feel free to write if you know something.
    • Good evening.   Sorry for my late answer. But that's were our conversation stopped a couple of weeks ago.   You:    I'm sure you don't misunderstand me, we share the p3dv4.5 platform, I don't think that we misunderstand us.   I'm here almost as long as you, 15 years by the end of this month. And I am VERY sure that the combination of Randazzos LH-B744 in combination with our beloved p3dv4.5 platform was not always allowed in Shaun Fletcher's screenshot contests.   Or, let's rather say, the name Randazzo gained more respect since Mathijs Kok has left aerosoft... So, new times here at Aerosoft?   I really appreciate it. So, the contest now is open not only for Aerosoft aircraft (TwinOtter, A320, A321, et cetera). Good!   I'd bet the contest has never been so open since I've won it (under the eyes of Shaun Fletcher), i.e. open for orbX, open for Randazzo, ...   I'm the last man who begins a discussion about a/c types. I own my avatar.   The only thing that I tried to say is, back then in 2010, the contest in my eyes was not so very open for so called 'foreign' developers.   I'm the last man who could say that an open contest could be bad. How could I say that,    as a longtime Randazzo customer.   So pls come back. Life is too short for misunderstandings that can be solved within a minute.
    • You mean, nobody uses p3d, with only two happy exceptions who sit here on this topic right now? *smile*   That's nothing we should talk about when crosswynd sits next to us. Afaik, he's another very happy p3dv4.5 user.   Ahm. I've just asked the passmark benchmark about your 4090 video card:   'Geforce gtx 4090' - benchmark 38309 .   So, I'm happy to have found a member who has:   1.  500 aerosoft forum entries more than me, and that since Mr Kok has left us is not so very easy,   2.  more years left behind him since he was a newbie here on this platform, I mean, I reach 15 years at the end of this month, but 20 years, that should be my next step *smile*, respect.   3. more years left behind him since he was born. I know quite for sure that I'm younger than Mathijs Kok. But we dont' talk about age, if you don't insist.   4. p3d instead of msfs 2020. Yes, and I don't only own p3dv4.5 but also the SDK for v4.5 . Correct very stupid field elevations and more. And all this with less than an i9 . Here on my side it is an i5-11400 with *switched off* igp (the cpu comes with a video solution thats' integrated on the cpu), 16 GB ram and today a rather very old AMD DirectX11 video card with 2 GB vram (!) .   Together with the Rockwell Commander 114 propeller (p3dv4.5 default) this hardware is good enough, but the next step that I'll take is, replace the antique Win10 video card by something better.   I'm more than satisfied with p3dv4.5, even only with an i5 11th Gen. Great.   PS: I must confess, I was always curious about msfs 2020, but I don't need a very lengthy (complicated?!) 150 gigabyte download as long as my video card is not good enough.
    • Heh, I remember back when the marketplace was small enough that the release process was fairly fast.  I also remember when it started to get bogged down with a million "city light" upgrades and livery packs, to the point that the marketplace updates started increasing in frequency (no longer just Thursdays!) but still had a delay.  I also remember when I felt like the OP because I love this plane and want to get flying it again with all the latest goodies I've acquired, (like VR and BeyondATC).  I also remember pepperidge farms.  Shouldn't be long now. . .
    • I bought Ben Gurion last month. I guessed Aerosoft wouldn’t lower the price even though sales for P3D must be close to flatlining. Performance is good but given I have an i9-13900K, 32Gb RAM and a 4090 I’d expect nothing less.   I’m more than satisfied with P3Dv5. When I look at the state of MSFS I have no desire to buy a sim with so many unresolved issues.
    • I've said one or two words about the price tag. Can we talk about hardware?   My info is, use Geforce GTX 970 benchmark 9638 (or better) with 4 GB vram, for Aerosoft Ben Gurion p3dv4/p3dv5 .   Let me translate that for AMD users. We need a Radeon RX 6500 XT benchmark 9565 (or higher) , Crossfire support with DirectX12, and ready to switch from Win10 to Win11.   [All benchmarks are submitted by passmark benchmark users.]   Do you fly something like that?
