General discussion regarding computer hardware

The Trim Wheel of the Echo Controller sends up to 4 input clicks every single mechanical click. It is totally useless for most assignments this way. Do I have a faulty controller? This should not slip the QA.

When I set the reversers handles on any of the 1, 2, or 4 thruster configurations for jets. They do not register as a button push on any of those. What might be the problem?

I downloaded MSFS 2024 yesterday and the lights on my Honeycomb Bravo throttle stopped working. Everything else works on the Bravo, but no lights work at all. Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else. Does anyone know of a solution?

I recently got a Bravo throttle quadrant and the Airfoil Labs C172 throttle quadrant profile. I noticed that the anunciators seemed a bit off. Master warning didn't light up, parking brake on showed as something else, etc. Yet, when I went into the honeycomb configurator, all the xplane 12 datarefs seemed to be mapped to the right annunciators. Hello guys I just started using 2024 and on my Bravo I cant get the for lack of a better word MCP to work. What I mean is I cant change the heading, alt ias etc etc with the selector knobs. Hello everyone, I’m having a serious issue with my Honeycomb Foxtrot joystick on PC and I’m trying to determine whether this is a hardware/firmware defect or something I might be missing. The problem is that the main axes (pitch/roll/yaw) behave in an extremely sensitive, almost binary way. Even with very small physical movement, the axis immediately jumps close to the maximum value, as if it were a digital 0–1 input rather than a smooth analog axis. Brand new honeycomb echo controller, not being recognized by Microsoft flight simulator on Xbox

I'm having issues connecting my Alpha to my PC. It has been working for a long time, but since 2 weeks my controller isn't working anymore. I've read lot's of same incidents with other users. (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/honeycomb-alpha-and-bravo-usb-issues/378660) Yes, I tried other USB cables, i've removed the devices in device manager, tried to update drivers.... No luck. I guess with updating my FMC , (WinWing) or Arduino board, perhaps this made my USB board in the yoke faulty. Is there anything I can do? remove the internal processor and replace it? Update with special software? any advice? Thanks all!

I have the Sierra TPM and the Bravo. After getting the TPM, I installed the latest driver and the TPM lights still do not work, and now my Bravo lights arent working either. A2A Simulations Comanche is what I've been flying. Any ideas? I emailed support but havent heard back. Thanks, Troy Stevens

Brand new out of the box.. not even plugged in yet.. was testing the physical movements of the controls and the parking brake knob is locked in place.. I know it does not pull out very far from videos i have seen.. but this on does not budge.. and I fear if i pull on it any harder it will break.

Hi everyone, I just bought a brand‑new Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controls XPC, but I’m running into a serious issue when using it with my Xbox Series X and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. After plugging it in and launching the sim, the system shows a “controller has been disconnected” message every few seconds. At the same time, the LED lights on the Alpha turn off briefly and then come back on, repeating this cycle continuously. During this period, the controller is completely unusable. Hello, my Honeycomb Alpha Lite yoke which I purchased directly from the Honeycomb shop is experiencing centering issues. It is not only in flight simulators, but also in joy.cpl. The yoke is offset either to the left or right, depending on the recently used side. However, opposite inputs correct this. Yoke Issue.mp4

The Honeycomb Configurator default profile is missing settings for the push buttons and switches. The bindings for the dials and lights are present. Based on YT videos I thought that the default profile that installs with the configurator has all buttons set up. The configurator version is 2.2. I tried to re-install the configurator. That did not work to bring the complete default profile back. Is there a way to get the default profile back, or is this how version 2.2 installs it? Thnx. When testing the Sierra TPM module via joy.cpl under Windows i am able to see and calibrate Axis Y and Axis Z but i don't get any response on Axis X. Flaps work, Parking brake etc. It is just the X-Axis (Throttle). I changed the USB cable to the original one delivered and i have no Hub between USB port and the Sierra TPM. I changed the USB Port at my Computer. Can this be really a physical hardware defect? I am puzzled..

Hello, After reinstalling Honeycomb Configurator and starting FSX as administrator the Honeycomb Addon does not appear in the addon menu tape so I cant bind the selected settings from the Honeycomb configurator, also the 7 toggle switches are not registered in the windows game controller settings when activating them, please Help Best Regards

Hi, I have just received a Honeycomb Foxtrot Stick and installed the FS2024 profile. It's early days, but thus far I am very happy with it. The one thing I have found annoying though, is that it has a dull click when it passes through the axis centre position. Has anyone else experienced this happening? Any comments appreciated... Just got a Honeycomb Alpha controller for Christmas. trying to go through the trainings on the yoke. Maybe I do not understand how a plane works - which could be the case - but I am having issues thinking that if the yoke is in the "neutral" position - may not be the proper term - not turned in either direction or pushed or pulled - then I would think that would be level flight - that does not seem to be the case. The plane in the training continuously loses altitude and then I try and adjust and end up crashing it. I can't tell if it is a learning curve or something more. I have done the windows calibration on it and tried to adjust the sensitivity in MSFS but that does…

I recently purchased the Honeycomb Sierra TPM Module. I run FS 2020. I fly a C172 in real life and on FS 2020, I'm unable to get the flaps to retract all the way. It only retracts to from 30 to 10 degrees. I don't have landing gears, but the light does not activate. I've tried downloading the software fix, but not what is going on.

Hallo, nach langem Suchen finde ich noch immer keine Lösung für das Problem: In Omsi 2 kann ich, egal welchen Bus oder welche Map ich nutze, keinerlei Einstellungen am Forcefeedback / Lenkradzentrierung vornehmen. Es handelt sich um die Benutzung des Aerosoft Truck& Bus Wheel. 350 Euro ausgegeben und es funktioniert einfach nicht. Das Problem: Auch im Stand dreht sich das Lenkrad zurück in die Mitte (zentriert sich). Dies ist ja keinesfalls zufriedenstellend. Wie kann ich mir behelfen oder wann ist mit einer Verbesserung zu rechnen?
