A340-600 consistently freezing MSFS 2024
A340-600 consistently freezing MSFS 2024

peopleconsumer20 · June 23Jun 23

Since the 1.0.3 update the A340-600 will cause my sim to freeze at seemingly random intervals but it always remains inevitable. Reloading an autosave will allow me to continue my flight but the simulator will still inevitably freeze up. The freeze is as follows: MSFS 2024 completely freezes, audio keeps playing, my desktop is still responding perfectly ok and the simulator shows up as not responding in the task manager. The only way to close the sim is to end task via task manager. I have not ex

A340 Shows No Reaction to Simulator Turbulence
A340 Shows No Reaction to Simulator Turbulence

AirbusTech · March 22Mar 22

The new A340 does not appear to respond to turbulence, nor does it seem to generate any internally, likely due to its external flight model implementation. While developers such as A2A (for example, with the Comanche) also use external flight models, their aircraft still properly interpret and react to simulator-driven turbulence. To verify this, I conducted a controlled test using historical weather with severe turbulence conditions. I compared the A340 against aircraft from iniBuilds, PMDG, an

Profiles cannot be loaded into Configurator app

Appearantly today I had a bright moment. After a few trial and error attempts I managed to find a way to load the missing profiles.
So this issue can be considered as solved.

Jump to position doesn't update fuel used and rudder steering disc

Hi there,
The jump to feature, which I really like, updates the FOB but doesn't update the fuel used currently. Hopefully this will be rectified.
Also, where is the rudder steering disconnect feature? i.e. the pushbutton on the top of the tiller to disconnect the rudder from the nosewheel steering so that you can do the flight control checks on the ground without scrubbing the tyres or moving the nosewheel unnecessarily? the button on the tiller does not seem to work or be selectable.
Thanks

FOXTROT TAKEOFF KIT Controls setup missing control assignments?

I’ve seen similar issues with button assignments in MSFS. For switches like the engine master and parking brake, the OFF position may be registered as a separate button input or as a change in the switch state, so it’s worth checking the device in Windows’ game controller settings first.
