    8. Aerosoft Updater and Livery Installer

The Aerosoft Updater and Livery Installer have now been replaced by Aerosoft One. This updater is only for legacy products that do not yet support Aerosoft One and still require this tool.

    9. Flightplan Visualizer

Flightplan Visualizer is a tool that helps you find suitable flights. Select the aircraft type, airline, and airport and you see exactly what routes real airlines fly.  No longer do you have to spend a lot of time deciding where to fly next, just follow the real aircraft!

    • So whats the purpouse of this forum then? Isn't it called "Flight Simulation Support"?
    • Keep in mind, they just might not be able to share certain things. Products like this use a lot of licensed material, so you are not allowed to make freeware.
    • That decision was one of the hundreds that you make when managing a product release and update. To the best of my knowledge, you are the only person who has ever had an issue with that specific decision. Next to the fact that all P3D development has been completely halted many years ago (5 years) I think you will just have to come to terms with that fact.   Mathijs Kok PMDG
2.3.9-hotfix has been uploaded to the x-updater   Changelog: - typos and mistakes in the manual corrected - fixed overhead buttons LIT   Und die Übersetzung:   Hotfix 2.3.9 wurde im X-Updater hochgeladen.
    • Good day,   This topic has been thrashed out long ago, without resolution. However, since both products cost a lot of money, one would expect it to be the reponsibility of developers to ensure when they say the integration works, that that is the reality. The debates around the subject matter were eventually ended by Aerosoft simply closing the topic, leaving, I suspect, many users unsatisfied.   My experience with using Aerosoft aircraft and GSX is that I can use the loadsheet, or GSX, on a mutually exclusive basis. If I want to use GSX to define the number of passengers, I must not load the fuel planner's loadsheet in the aircraft's MCDU3. Alternatively, if I load the loadsheet first, which is needed to program the MCDU for flight, GSX's request for number of passengers simply does not respond when requesting boarding. Where is the integration?   Perhaps the developers who were responsible for programming the interface, should explain how the integration was designed to work. If my experience detailed above is, in fact, in accordance with the design, then at least I know that I must choose which one will be operative in loading passengers and their baggage. Aerosoft claimed in their arguments of long ago that it would be sufficient to use the loadsheet, as GSX reads those numbers to calculate the number of baggage carts, etc.. I have yet to see this working according to those claims. The result is invariably that GSX resorts to default.   It would be great to have this issue finally resloved.   Regards.
    • Hi Ben, In reply to your email query asking whether my question was answered, I can say it was answered but not resolved. I replaced the empty file with one containing the sounds, but it made no difference. Aerosoft have not provided the necessary triggers to make these files work, so what must  users do when they are  simply told the product is at the end of its life cycle. Has it ever occurred to Aerosoft that not all their customers want to change from P3D to MSFS, perhaps because their machines are not powerful enough for MSFS? Also, need I remind Aerosoft that their products are not free?   I am surprised that Mathijs made the decision to remove sounds instead of leaving it to the users to choose whether they want to use them. It also appears that he has jumped ship, so there will presumably be no further help from him for P3D products.   Regards, IQM
    • Hi, I just performed a complete clean installation of P3D v5.4, and now I can't register my sim after installing SIMstarter NG. I had this problem years ago, but I can't remember how I solved it (getting old). Best regards Keith
Vielen Dank!  Gruß Norbert
