Hello,   The X-Updater from X-Plane_org now also works with FlightFactor (FF) add-ons purchased from us (Aerosoft). Click here for the X-Updater: https://x-updater.com/ Download and unzip the zip file for your operating system. Then run the X-Updater. The first time you run it, you will need to specify the directory of the installed X-Plane simulator. You can then add (+) your FF add-ons and update them. You will be asked for the email address and key for the add-on in question. As always, you can find the key in your Aerosoft Shop account (if purchased here).   Best regards, Heinz  

Hallo,   ab sofort funktioniert der X-Updater von X-Plane_org auch mit FlightFactor (FF) Addons, die bei uns (Aerosoft) gekauft wurden. Hier geht es zum X-Updater: https://x-updater.com/ Zip Datei für das verwendete Betriebssystem herunterladen und entpacken. Dann den X-Updater ausführen. Beim ersten Mal muss das Verzeichnis des installierten X-Plane Simulators angegeben werden. Dann kann man seine FF Addons hinzufügen (+) und dann auch aktualisieren. Dazu wird nach der verwendeten eMail und dem Key des betreffenden Addons gefragt. Den Key findet ihr wie immer in eurem Aerosoft Shop Konto (wenn hier gekauft).   Viele Grüße Heinz    

Die King Air ist im Zustand Cold and Dark: dann Batterieschalter auf ON, Avionics Master auf PWR und EFIS Aux Power auf ON. Trotzdem bleiben die Instrumente EADI und EHSI stromlos bzw. dunkel. Das gleiche, wenn ich über den Menüpunkt FLUG die Elektrik der Maschine einschalte. Auch das Drehen an den DIM-Reglern hat nichts gebracht. Habe ich etwas übersehen. In einem Youtube-Video reichte es, neben dem Batterieschalter die Avionics einzuschalten. Dann waren auch die beiden Instrumente aktiv. Kann mir jemand weiter helfen?

Soweit ich weiß, ist die X-Plane Lizenz immer nur für einen Computer/einen Benutzer gedacht. Steht auch im X-Plane Manual. Allerdings kann man wohl X-Plane auf 2 Computern installieren aber nur auf einem zur Zeit betreiben. Also nicht unbedingt auf beiden Computern gleichzeitig mit demselben Key. Falls es hier Unklarheiten gibt, bitte unbedingt Laminar Research direkt fragen. Gruß Heinz

Aber das funktioniert. Bisher hatten Sie das Vertrauen. Ich nutze X-Plane auch auf zwei PC. Einmal am Schreibtisch zu bearbeiten von Gateway-Szenerien und dann im Keller l, wo die ganze Ausrüstung steht.   Mittlerweile wird auch auf den Laminar Account umgestellt. Darüber soll dann auch der Store laufen. Dann werden die Leute weniger ihre Zugangsdaten teilen.

Hello Mathijs.  Nice to see you back here I'm sorry, but I have to bring my fact-checking guns to bear on this, although I'm aware that you very likely didn't know the communication history on this, since you probably just looked at this thread and drew your conclusion that the update was not promised based exclusively on what is written here.    Aerosoft 100% promised the MSFS 2024 update of this, and that promise is still available on their Discord in the very announcement of the upcoming release. https://discord.com/channels/1024582293563641916/1159617192644579398/1311345880942510240 "Regarding compatibility with the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, we will provide an update within the next few weeks to ensure that the scenery is 100% compatible. Of course this update will be free!"   But that is not all. The actual store page of the product included the following note at launch.  "MSFS 2024 compatibility: An update will follow in the next few weeks, which will of course be free!"   Said note has then been quietly removed without an explanation (which is not good. At all. Come on, Aerosoft. They have made the promises (I imagine based on what David told them), and it's their responsibility to communicate with users and tell them whether there is a problem, the extent of said problem, and whether they're doing anything to fix it. They're the company that sold an airport with a clearly labeled promise on it that has not been fulfilled.    I don't think it's too much to ask that Aerosoft let users know the situation, and whether they can forget about the update and move on, or should still expect it and roughly when.   Hells. I'd honestly like to hear whether David is safe at this point. That's more important than any airport.

Hallo,   wahrscheinlich liegt es daran, dass auf einigen PC's SAM noch funktioniert. Nun musste entschieden werden: SAM automatisch mitinstallieren oder nicht. Je nachdem muss der eine oder andere User dann selbst Hand anlegen und SAM wieder deinstallieren oder SAM nachinstallieren.... Oder ein anders SAM verwenden usw...   OpenSAM können wir sicher nicht automatisch mitinstallieren lassen. Das ist eine Freeware und da kann es immer Probleme geben, wenn es mit kommerzieller Software seitens des Herstellers/Verkäufers verwendet wird.   Ich spreche das aber nochmal an bei uns... Vielen Dank für eure Rückmeldungen.   Dann ist der Produktkey wohl zugleich Aktivierungscode. Das ist gut zu wissen.    Das sieht auch gut aus; ich werde es genau so machen.   Das kann ich mir zwar nicht vorstellen, da Laminar oder der Store, in welchem die X-Plane 12 Download-Version gekauft wurde, sich selbst um Umsätze bringen würde. Ich könnte ja dann meinen Aktivierungscode gegen Bares weiter verhökern, was hoffentlich nicht funktioniert.   Gruß Reiner C.
