I believe that the manufacturer thought you were referring to the two throttle sliders, which do have a single detent at their lowest point for thrust reverser operation.
Here is the answer I received from Honeycomb (the question to them was word for word as stated, above):

It's a sliding lever with no detents in movement. I hope this information is of use."
In any case, whether it is free of any detents or has only the one detent, it does not make programming this peripheral any easier for multiple aircraft types.
