After several test flights, I firmly believe that ToLiss (I assume they are the ones responsible for this part) have once again managed to placebo themselves into thinking they’ve actually fixed something, or they simply CTRL+C CTRL+V’d the wingflex slider and renamed it "Turbulence".
While it is true that the wings do seem to move somewhat more in turbulent air than they did before, it doesn’t solve the original problem, which is that the movement and inertia of the wings are not transmitted to the rest of the aircraft. The wings basically feel like they’re not connected to the main body of the aircraft, so it still flies like it’s on rails. I would strongly recommend the developers to buy a ticket on Lufthansa’s A340-600 before they retire it and experience it for themselves. That aircraft moves A LOT in turbulence. I’d say that, out of all the heavies I’ve flown on, it’s one of the ones that moves the most in turbulence (for fairly obvious reasons).
