I am using the Echo Aviation Controller and mapping it for the L-39. Control assignments are pretty easy but the one exception is that only "digital" inputs are allowed under "Gears" Up/Down and I cannot bind the purpose-built mechanical gear switch in the controller, it seems to recognise the button numbers for Up/Down but they don't "stick". I can use another, non mechanical button but it's not ideal. Any suggestions? Many thanks. -

Hallo Flugberti, bei der Darstellung des Wassers hat wahrscheinlich jeder seinen eigenen Vorstellungen. Hier nur als Anregung meine Vorlieben. Ich arbeite mit zwei verschiedenen Einstellungen, es werden dabei die zwei Parameter masks_width und ratio_water verändert, a) Land bei Inlandscenerien mit masks_width 100 und ratio_water 0.1 was für Flüsse sehr hoch angesetzt ist aber bei Seen teils wunderschöne Untiefeneffekte erzeugt, erstellt mit GO2 b) Sea bei Küstenscenerien oder auch am Bodensee !!! mit masks_width 500 und ratio_water 0.01 was wunderschöne Riffe oder das Wattenmeer erzeugt, erstellt mit Bing Wie gesagt, jeder hat einen anderen Geschmack dazu und es sind immer Kompromisse dabei zu machen. Bei meinen Einstellungen wird z.B. das Wasser sehr klar, durchsichtig was störende Bootsschatten auf dem Flussgrund erzeugt. Dafür kommen aber wieder herum Sandbänke und Untiefen zum Vorschein. Probiere es aus ob es dir gefällt, meine Vorliebe soll nicht in Stein gemeißelt sein, und spiele evt. mit den beiden Parametern. Viele Grüße Günther -

Something strange happend today: I got the online wx from PFPX!! No notams but I can live without. Edit: Spoke too soon. Apparently the upper wind gets downloaded from Washington, but not the metars. They were from wx2pfpx, and got overwritten by NO METAR a bit later. I would so love to see this magnificient tool work again. While Simbrief has matured, it is still not as proffessional as PFPX. -

Allmählich fühle ich mich in dem Flieger ganz wohl. Der Alltags - Vorgang vom Laden bis Takeoff klappt gut. Eine der letzten Geheimnisse bleibt ein solches: Sinnvollerweise ist die Eingabe von Ladung getrennt nach Maindeck lowerdeck Bulk Das Problem: bei der Eingabe einer Zahl im Maindeck kommt oft eine Phantasiezahl als Rückmeldung. Das nachfolgende Foto zeigt ein Beispiel. Ich habe eingegeben: 65808kg. Zurückgegeben (siehe Foto) wird mir aber 52404kg. Bei allen anderen EIngaben sowohl Zuladung als auch Fuel klappt das. Was ist da los?
