Tobii head tracking not working in cockpit view

Hi Aerosoft team,
I'm experiencing an issue with Tobii head tracking in the A330-900neo.

Problem:
- Tobii head tracking does not work in the cockpit view of the A330neo.
- In the external view, Tobii works normally in the same aircraft.
- In all other aircraft (including your A340-600 Pro), Tobii works fine in the cockpit.

What I've tried:
- Waited until the "Aircraft Loading – please wait until the aircraft systems have finished loading" message disappeared – no change afterwards.
- Used "Toggle Head Tracking" and "Eye Tracking Reset" in the standard pilot view – no change.
- Reset the cockpit camera.

System:
- MSFS 2024, MS Store version, 1.8.16.0 (SU6.1), PC
- A330neo version: [current version]
- Tobii Eye Tracker

Since Tobii works in every other cockpit and even in the A330neo's external view, it looks like something in the aircraft's cockpit camera setup is overriding or blocking head tracking input.

Dual engine shutdown in flight after an airport search in the EFB - not only in A340, also Fenix A320

Hello,

I'm flying the A346 Pro (1.0.5) in MSFS 2024 in VR. In flight, both engines shut down after I searched for an airport in the native Microsoft EFB (typing an ICAO code and selecting the result). I've also opened a helpdesk ticket about this.

The same trigger causes a dual engine shutdown in the Fenix A320 (there on the Landing Distance page of its own EFB), so I suspect the cause is on the simulator side. The first video (A340) shows the controls freezing after the same search in this aircraft. I don't have a recording of the engine shutdown itself yet. The second video is from the Fenix A320, after an airport search in the EFB (there you can see the shutdown very well).

Has anyone else seen this? If so, it would help to know:
Did you type the ICAO with a physical keyboard, or with the mouse / on-screen keyboard?
Which EFB did you use: the Microsoft EFB or the aircraft's own tablet?

I'm not a programmer; I analysed this with AI assistance, but all observations are from my own flights.

Delta livery 3D model issue

Hi Gustavo:

I have raised the issue so it is being handled with priority by the modeling team, which is currently working on fixing this and a few other model issues. If it will already be in the next update, or only in the one thereafter I cannot tell, though.

But be reassured, that it def WILL be resolved.

A340-600 consistently freezing MSFS 2024

Hi guys:

unfortunately there was a small delay by about a week as the new build showed some unrelated issue that we first wanted to investigate, before putting it out to you potentially introducing a new problem. But that has been solved so the stutter fix should be published next week. Also, this build will only have very basic initialization logging by default, so if you need more you will have to manually activate full logging via the EFB.

FSimUK Bristol and a little Venice look ahead

There's almost one week to go until the FSimUK event in Bristol! We are very excited to be holding a UK show again after such a long break. Make sure to stop by our stand, where we will be showing an exclusive preview of the upcoming Aerosoft Venice Airport scenery for MSFS 2024.

These previews will also be shown publicly after the event, so you won't miss out if you can't make it to the FSimUK event in Bristol in person.

For now, I can at least give you a sneak peek, but it's still a work in progress. But we are in the final stage. This does not mean that we are going to release it at a specific time. Please do not put too much work into decrypting what this could mean. As soon as we are ready to announce a release date, you will read about it here first, as always. I'm pretty sure you can already see from the pictures what to expect from this scenery. As we wrote before, it's going to be even more detailed than Stuttgart. This is awesome!
