Hello Mathijs.  Nice to see you back here I'm sorry, but I have to bring my fact-checking guns to bear on this, although I'm aware that you very likely didn't know the communication history on this, since you probably just looked at this thread and drew your conclusion that the update was not promised based exclusively on what is written here.    Aerosoft 100% promised the MSFS 2024 update of this, and that promise is still available on their Discord in the very announcement of the upcoming release. https://discord.com/channels/1024582293563641916/1159617192644579398/1311345880942510240 "Regarding compatibility with the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, we will provide an update within the next few weeks to ensure that the scenery is 100% compatible. Of course this update will be free!"   But that is not all. The actual store page of the product included the following note at launch.  "MSFS 2024 compatibility: An update will follow in the next few weeks, which will of course be free!"   Said note has then been quietly removed without an explanation (which is not good. At all. Come on, Aerosoft. They have made the promises (I imagine based on what David told them), and it's their responsibility to communicate with users and tell them whether there is a problem, the extent of said problem, and whether they're doing anything to fix it. They're the company that sold an airport with a clearly labeled promise on it that has not been fulfilled.    I don't think it's too much to ask that Aerosoft let users know the situation, and whether they can forget about the update and move on, or should still expect it and roughly when.   Hells. I'd honestly like to hear whether David is safe at this point. That's more important than any airport.

Hallo,   wahrscheinlich liegt es daran, dass auf einigen PC's SAM noch funktioniert. Nun musste entschieden werden: SAM automatisch mitinstallieren oder nicht. Je nachdem muss der eine oder andere User dann selbst Hand anlegen und SAM wieder deinstallieren oder SAM nachinstallieren.... Oder ein anders SAM verwenden usw...   OpenSAM können wir sicher nicht automatisch mitinstallieren lassen. Das ist eine Freeware und da kann es immer Probleme geben, wenn es mit kommerzieller Software seitens des Herstellers/Verkäufers verwendet wird.   Viele Grüße Heinz    

Vielen Dank für eure Rückmeldungen.   Dann ist der Produktkey wohl zugleich Aktivierungscode. Das ist gut zu wissen.    Das sieht auch gut aus; ich werde es genau so machen.   Das kann ich mir zwar nicht vorstellen, da Laminar oder der Store, in welchem die X-Plane 12 Download-Version gekauft wurde, sich selbst um Umsätze bringen würde. Ich könnte ja dann meinen Aktivierungscode gegen Bares weiter verhökern, was hoffentlich nicht funktioniert.   Gruß Reiner C.    

Ich hatte den Punkt vor einiger Zeit unserem @Heinz Flichtbeilmitgegeben. Leider gab es bisher keine Änderung. Ich bin im November auf der FS Conference, vielleicht kann ich dort mit einem der Aerosoft Entwickler sprechen.

Ich habe gestern meine bei Aerosoft gekaufte Version des Flughafen "Saint Croix" mit der Aerosoft One Software aktualisiert. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, das SAM automatisch installiert wird. Es ist als Abhängigkeit eingetragen und kann nicht abgewählt werden. Ich benutze seit einiger Zeit openSAM und bin damit zufrieden. Mit SAM hatte ich nur Probleme und will es nun wirklich nicht mehr auf der Festplatte. Warum kann man diese Abhängigkeit nicht ausschalten ? Aerosoft One könnte doch auch openSAM als alternative anbieten und nicht einfach drüberbügeln.   Grüße Andreas

Ich könnt X-Plane auf mehreren Geräten installieren und betreiben. Da gibt es keine Einschränkungen.   

Hi Reiner, ich war in einer ähnlichen Situation. Mein Vorgehen (vor ein paar Monaten): Ich habe den bestehenden Aktivierungs-Code für die Aktivierung von X-Plane12 auf dem neuen PC genutzt. Das X-Plane 12 auf dem alten PC habe ich nicht gelöscht. Ich vermeide es aber strikt, das X-Plane 12 auf dem alten PC zu starten. Hat funktioniert.... 

Hallo Reiner, ich weiß nicht, ob dir das hier hilft.   Ich habe XP12 als Downloadversion hierüber erworben: https://www.x-plane.com/kb/digital-download-install/   Auf dieser Seie gibt es die Möglichkeit die Demoversion zu laden und/oder das Produkt zu kaufen.   Nach dem Kauf gab es eine E-Mail, die sowohl die Rechnung darstellte,als auch den Produkt-Key beinhaltete.   Mit diesem Key konnte man dann die Demo-Version zur Vollversion freischalten.   Mein Produktkey besteht aus 6Blöcken. Jeder Block hat 4 Zeichen. Die Blöcke sind mit Minuszeichen getrennt.   XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX     Wenn du XP startest, erscheint ja im oberem Bildbereich die Symbolik des Identifizierers. Klickt man auf den Pfeil nach Unten, kommt man zu seinem Account. Da meldet man sich mit der XP Identity an. In dem sich jetzt öffnendem Bild sind deine Daten und ganz unten ein Auzug des Produktschlüssels zu sehen.   Sollten die sichtbaren Zeichen mit deiner Information übereinstimmen, scheint das dann wohl dein Schlüssel zu sein     Gruß Michael

Has anyone successfully reinstalled PFPX and TopCat using their saved installers? I’m thinking of the day my Dell laptop SSD might fail. Having said that I do make a backup of the actual disc so restoring that should be fine for me.

Hm. I've never had any problems with flightsimsoft, as I've never used it. But...    The de dot wikipedia dot org was out of order for a couple of hours today (!) . Good that I've never bought something at wikipedia dot org ...   I just try to imagine an install problem after I purchased it, only because the server is down. Or the software company doesn't exist any longer?   Not imaginable when U treat a downloadable product like a DVD. Buy it, install it, then lock it up in ur closet (!).    A 100% data loss?    Almost unimaginable, or what would you say, Mathijs Kok?
