Hello, Just to make sure my experience is not lost.... The altitude issues on SID are now more or less solved; however, the speed constraints continue to be ignored in full managed mode. KDCA CLTCH2 FLASK OZZZI1 KATL CLTCH2 has speed constraint of 220 knots at ADAXE . The display shows a speed constraint of 220 but the aircraft busts straight through to 250

Dear all, yesterday I did a flight from EBBR to LSZH with the CFM variant of the A319 (SWISS livery) and while there was nothing obviously wrong on EBBR, the plane suddenly started to accelerate itself after touchdown in LSZH. Several times in a row. It seems that the newest update (I use the experimental ones via updater) did not entirely fix this issue, sadly. Small advice: instead of closing a thread as fast as possible, I would wait some days after the update. If it is not really fixed, as in this case now, one can use the "old" thread to further discuss the issue. No need in closing threads in such a high pace, no?

Hello, After doing to the update to 1.2.1.3 a weird thing is happening. During the climb and also at flight level, for some reason the computer is converting the mach number to a speed which is very low. For example, during a flight today, after loading fuel/passengers/cargo and setting the performance, the level speed supposed to be .78 (240-260), but when on auto speed the magenta speed is showing 129. Therefore I have to use the manual setting all the time now. I have no made any changes to anything in the P3Dv4 and everything is up to date. Attach is the pictures of the AUTO mode and MANUAL mode. In the auto mode you can see the magenta speed way below the 240-26…

A320 CFM is dropping optimal flight level down while flying. in climbing FMGC shows optimal level is FL370, and i climb FL370. Pretty soon after reaching FL370, it's showing below levels, and dropping all the time inflight.

Hello, on about four or five of my seven or eight flights with the Airbus Professional so far, I had a strange issue on final approach. I was fully established on the ILS, about 3-5nm out, when the Bus suddenly starts to bank to one side (I think it was to the right every time it happened). Just for 2-3 seconds and then begins to stabilize on the ILS again. I never had this behaviour in the old bus. I just wanted to ask, if anyone had this issue, too? I'm quite sure it is no weather problem, because my AS4 is configured almost the same like my AS16 in P3D v3 before. But I cannot say that 100% sure. To me, it looks like a short wron…

Hello Aerosoft, Just doing some test flights with the A320 CFM using the latest experimental update v1.2.1.3, and I cannot switch the second autopilot on during the approach. I have set AP1, LOC, and A/THR, ALT set manually. Then I push APPR and AP2. the AP2 does not respond at all. Can you please test? Erik

Is there a way to increase / decrease the desired Altitude setting faster on the mcp ? At times when scrolling I notice it will do "thousands" at a time but not sure how to select that on demand. thanks - really enjoying the plane - Julian EDIT - Solution is you can right click in the black ring around the knob to select thousands (and left click for hundreds)

Hello everyone! First of all let me say how impressed I am with the modeling. It is amazing. I have been experiencing issues with the aircraft: stutters. Despite of the settings adjustments and the information available on this forum, I have not been able to make the aircraft stable on the sim, whether on the outside or on the VC. Furthermore, I have noticed that the frame rates are fluctuating a lot. I spent the last couple of days carefully reading the manual and some recommendations made on this forum but I have not had success. For ease, here are my specs: · P3D V4.3 · Windows 7 · …

I've noticed on nearly every single flight that unless you are climbing in managed mode, the Airbus will completely ignore the acceleration to climb speed above 10,000ft and will climb at 250kts all the way up to FL390 or whatever in open climb. At this point open climb is effectively not usable because even in managed mode the airplane ignores any altitude restrictions on the SID anyway. In the screenshots you can see the purple dot disappear in open climb. Whether or not you are in open climb, the aircraft should as far as I know, still accelerate to the climb speed above 10k.

Hi! I have recognised quite significant differences in the take-off and climb performance of the different engine options for the A320. So far I have not flown both engine versions of the A319 or 321 so I can't say for sure that the same applies to them. But I did some testing and got these results. I know that the engines are slightly weaker on the IAE but the climb rate and take-off distance is quite significantly different. Of course I don't know all the facts of the buses but the IAE seems to climb like an A340-300 at times (which we all know is not a good thing ) so I'd love some input on this from someone who really know how the buses are supposed to beh…

Hello, where is it possible to download a full detailed tutorial for FMGC on A318-321. I think there are the same for all airbus. In the last version of Airbus series (32 bit) ther was a good and complete description. THanks for yours replies. Michel.

So I have done a dozen or so flights with the A319 and I have run out of fuel on decent on every one of them. The last flight was CYUL-KPHX and the fuel planner with an average of 44kt head wind calculated a trip burn of 9826kg with a fuel load of 14000kg and a ZFW of 54113kg. The fuel ran out about 80 mi from KPHX. Simbrief figured slightly more fuel 14,800kg but with a planned landing fuel of 3000kg the burn is still off. I attached the flight plan for reference. What am I missing? CYULKPHX_PDF_1540100397.pdf

Morning all. Having a few little hiccups still with the bus. Not complaining, this is for the teams information really. Yesterday I had the AP ignoring the inputs again. It just flew straight and level, even though AP on, NAV Op CLB in pdf. This is only second time ever, but I'm 100% confident the aircraft was set up correctly, including both Perf a and b pages. Today that problem has gone away again. But I'm having a strange EPR display in engine 2. Moving throttle to manual and up to flex or toga and back again doesnt clear it. Might be a one off, never happened before. Don't think it's correct, it maybe it's something I don't know about? Also, was just browsing the for…

On approach to Zurich on a STAR with a transition there is a problem with the nav mode. The path goes something like, way point X - way point Y (transition) - way point X - so a loop. However, upon reaching the first way point X, the auto flight system is taking me on a heading away from way point Y in order to bring be back around in a loop through Y, rather than directing me towards way point Y first and then loop around to where I started. This conflicts with my ATC program which starts to give me vectors as it believes I am off course. So, I have tested this in another airbus (the other one) and it doesn't do this, it heads directly towards the way point Y and the…

Hi, I think Airbus FBW keeps the set attitude, and it is kept when roll in, and roll out all the time basically But I see the set pitch excessive moving up and down when changing heading with hand control. and my PFD indication seems to be non normal (about 0 - 2.5 degrees) Please give me some advice. Thank you.

My surprise has been today to make a flight... from dark and cold, at night, in the afternoon I updated the version 1.2.1.2....la surprise has been that after the setback and perform the checks etc.... and GSX disconnect the tractor, taking into my Controls the control of the turbines in IDEL is to say to 0, to remove the brakes to start the TAXI to the RWY, without me to touch the controls, the plane has started to advance, until today I had never happened, nor I have touched anything of configuration of the Joytick or nothing in Panel of Control, nor in P3D..... this happening happens to me in all Aibuses, I repeat until today I had never happened, just update to the la…

A quick word on the vertical profiles issues we had. As I am in German I had some more time to talk with Frank who programs those parts. It's all a very weird problem, close to release something changed somewhere and we simply have no idea. It's an Airbus and everything is so tightly interfaced that it's extremely hard to track back what it was (believe me, I spoken a lot with Airbus software engineers, the have exactly the same. In these events they decided they want to work at Boeing, lol). So instead of wasting time to debug and clutch we decided to seriously overhaul that module. That has been done and at this moment test flights flights are b…

Hello, as seen on the attachment, my glare-shield is dark even though I have loaded the take-off panel state. This happens with the A318, 19, 20 and 21. What should I do? Thanks

After a few interesting weeks getting to know the airbus and feeling ok with everything I have experienced an uncontrollable nose/tail oscillation in the cruise. Cycling at about 90cpm speed falls to near critical level, the autopilot stays on but the aircraft climbs out of the set altitude and then descends rapidly. Cutting the AP makes control difficult. I eventually restored stability by descending from FL310 to about FL200. My weather is Active Sky and turbulence was enabled, I disabled this but it didn't make any difference (perhaps it won't without a reboot?). I'll see what tomorrow brings but I thought this was worth reporting and any thoughts would be he…

After the A318/319 update to version 1.2.1.0, partly the yellow connecting lines of the STAR or Transitions are missing on the ND in PLAN mode. When switching to ARC mode, the plan is displayed correctly with the green line. Can anyone confirm this? Regards, Wolfgang
