All questions about how the aircraft flies. Please post only one issue per post so we can follow up, do not post a list of question!

Hi, I've done about 10 flights in the A320 over the past 2 or 3 days and each time, after passing 10,000ft, the aircraft levels out and climbs at about 400 fpm (in managed mode). I have to set my own VS to continue climbing.

  2. Hello, some days ago i create a new topic about difficuties after the new update 1.2.1.4. Today i create a flight LFPG to LOWI. I had big problems with the altitudes contraints. It seemed the plane didn't respected those datas from the FMS. It stayed at a upper altitude and when i approached the airport (the approach datas on) suddenly the plane begins a sudden descente, it get a too big speed, and its necessary to retract the flaps and it was impossible to land.It was a RNAV landing. Has somebody the same difficulties ?

Hello, I recently discovered a new issue with the A321 IAE. When on ground checking the control surfaces, the spoilers won't move with the ailerons as normal. Only the ailerons are seen moving according to MFD and the F/CTL part. In outside view, the spoiler segment, that is closest to the aileron, moves with the ailerons, but they should all move together. Engines are running, so should be no pressure issue. Never seen this before updating to 1.2.1.5. Is this a known issue or how can I solve this?

After updating to 1.2.1.5 the glideslope indicators have disappeared on the PFD. First happened while flying online into EHAM. The plane A319 Easyjet descended as normal but the indicators were missing. Attached 2 images from later flights different aircraft. It was Ok before this last update. Kind regards Shane

  5. As I push back, the APU, all the bleed switch lights, and pretty much any light on the overhead go off. Once I pushed on the APU start thinking I had forgotten to start it and that shut the APU down. Often when I taxi the managed Speed and Heading "white light" goes out, After take off sometime during the cruise the auto pilot, auto thrust indicators go out but looking at the PFD confirms they are still on. This seemed to occur after I installed GSX level two but that could be wrong.

Hi, when i descending in NAV mode, blue arrow shows me place where the plane should level off and that is correct. When i change mode to HDG and turn in any direction that arrow stays near dashed track line. I think that blue arrow should be near solid HDG line. Is it correct? Regards.

Hello. I'm having a strange issue. I know it is maybe I'm to blame here, but here it goes. If I start the pushback from the MCDU but stop it halfway by pushing SHIFT + P, ground announces to set my parking brakes etc and ends the pushback process. After some time, aircraft starts to pushback again, without me triggering it. I suppose it has something to do with the actual MCDU driven pushback comes to an end at triggers another SHIFT + P. Anyway, not a big problem and definitely caused by misuse, but would be fine if it was corrected. Sometimes you need to really stop the pushback immediately halfway. …

Hi, from time to time, after putting ZFW/ZFWCG and BLOCK fuel values on INIT B page are calculated correctly (i hope so!), then after all of them changing for a few seconds to negative strange numbers. After that all backs to normal. This thing in not a big deal, just a notification. Regards.

Hello, I just wanted to report another issue. I flew to EDDF and was in the descend towards EDDF. The blue arrow, that shows the point, where the aircraft will be levelled off during descend to the programmed lower altitude moves along the programmed flight path. So long, everything is finde. But when I switch to selected heading (heading mode), the blue arrow stays stuck to the flight path, I don't follow anymore or it hovers arround on the ND somewhere between the final approach course (so the ILS flight path so to say) and the selected heading path. I think it should then stick to the selected heading path, which goes straight forward. In the old Bus, that …

Because previous topic is closed, I create new one. A321IAE (not happend before 1.2.1.4) Yes I can handling aircraft, like you wish. 50 flights with new busses without this new problem.

  12. I got an issue yesterday which I had not seen before, but I am not sure if it could be related to the latest update because it was with the A319 which does not seem to have received a lot of changes with this last update yesterday.. When I reached cruising altitude the AP/AT in managed mode did constantly switch between MACH and SPEED mode throughout the entire cruise phase (maybe every 20 seconds), which also caused the speed bug on the PFD to change every 20 seconds or so with the engines spooling up to reach the new speed mark just to then again spool down when the speed bug switched back..... This behaviour only ended when the descend was ini…

Just as the title says, running my first flight of the 1.2.1.4 A320 IAE and every time the FMA has gone enters into a "star" mode (2 ALT * and 1 ALT CST *), the master caution light briefly flashes on with an audible "ding". It lasts maybe half a second. I don't believe I've ever experienced this before, but perhaps this is intended operation - or is it a bug?

  14. Started by Sabretooth78,

I just encountered an issue with managed speed apparently changing mid-cruise on the A321 IAE, v.1.2.1.3. I had stepped away from the PC to make dinner, and popped back into the room to check to make sure I wasn't flying into a thunderstorm - I wasn't, but I noticed that the a/c was pitched up about 10 degrees and the speed tape was just about down into the yellow hatch. Pushing the thrust levers into TOGA didn't seem to be fixing the situation so I dialed the FCU altitude window from FL340 to FL310. Again, nothing doing, so I pushed the stick forward and nosed over, this time with the speed tape in the red (but somehow avoided a stall), recovering at around…

Hi just wondering is it normal for the spoilers to come up slightly during the climb? ... im using the Sharklet Jetbue A320 version . looks wrong to me

  16. there is a flaps setting problem that i have with f2screw or even with the default airbus copilot. in the after start procedures, both first officers configure the flaps to full. Then the flaps command in fs2crew doest not work propperly. Has this been detected?

Hello, i updated v1.2.1.4 yesterday, and today during the first fly i had problems . MCDU: copilot on and checklist on often don't work correctly and action not completly accomplished and block the running of the programme. AP: Altitudes contraints not respected in descent and approach. Some action like signs for belt and no smoking don't work.. Those bugs are knowed ? Thanks for your replies. Michel.

  18. Just flying my first flight with the corrected climb profile and it looks and feels realistic now. Climb to FL360 took 22min now instead of 14min. Looking forward to the update for the A319 and A321, too.

Hello guys ! I have a BIG problem with my plane A320. I take off normally but at the moment of activating the autaitqueque pilot he must rear up about 20 degrees to be able to maintain cruise altitude. Thank you

Is Aerosoft still working on a fix for the problem where the aircraft (both CFM and IAE), after takeoff, pitches up to about 20 degrees on the PDF and the airspeed falls to just above stalling speed? I believe this has been discussed in other threads. I have all the latest updates, and none of them have addressed this.

hello everyone,i have a problem with my autopilot specifically with the HDG my aircraft move only in one direction and don´t follow the route please help me.

  23. Simulator: P3Dv4 Aircraft: A321 Professional / IAE (Default Lufthansa Livery) Performance like 30-35 fps. Reproduction: - Load: 5.000 kg FUEL ONLY. No passengers, no cargo - Checklists OFF - Set MCDU init, flightplan, perf pages normally, using same airport. I used LTBA/LTBA. Takeoff normally. - After take off, stabilize with autopilot at 2.000 feet, Speed: 220 knots, Flaps: Retracted, Heading: Any heading. None managed. - SET altitude to 2.300 feet (Just add 300 feet) and pull the autopilot altitude knob. RESULT: FADEC is adding too much power, speed goes up to 250 knots then both altitude and speed normal…

Does anyone else find the the buses to be a little too 'touchy' on approach/landing? The slightest input seems to have an exaggerated impact. To that point, will the FDE be part of the next update? If not, does someone have FSUPIC profile (i.e. slope adjustment) they're willing to share?

Hello , i had a strange problem some minutes ago : when my airplane 318 CFM was climbing (managed speed climb on the FMA) i have seen the speed decrease progressively with the altitude . I had only 200 knts max and at about FL200, the speed continue to decrease and the plane became unstable. Have somebody known the same problem ? Thanks for yours replies.
