Compliance for this month's contest is simple! Fellow Simviators May is upon us and while I had a few interesting ideas for this month's contest, recent events within the aviation industry allowed me to shift focus and try something different. It was rather unfortunate seeing the closure of the low cost carrier Spirit Airlines and while many folks despised their business practices and in some cases their service, others enjoyed the ability to fly at an affordable airfare more suited to their budget. Shalom and greetings all my pals, As all of you know that huge numbers of bush planes, helicopters, and twin propeller planes used PABE Bethel airport to run round trip relief aid flights between the airport and many many tiny or villages with tiny airports to drop off much needed supplies, to pick up wounded citizens affected by the natural disaster called Typhoon Halong, and to evacuate any survivors. That got me thinking.
