I can't get my throttles (engines) to increase/decrease with my joystick. It works with the normal F1-F4, like it used to before my computer needed a rebuild, but now that doesn't work at all. Please help! PS, I use a Logitech Extreme 3D, and it's been great before

Hi I have put this in the Everything Else section, but only got advice to put it here. After the first checklist is finished, the aircraft is ready to, but the copilot doesn't seem to agree - in told by cabin crew that we're ready to go, but my copilot stays quiet. Today I made a go around at EDDF. Everything works fine. The copilot said "go around" and that's all. I flew the missed approach proc. as published but there was no announce from the copilot. So I land w/o them, taxi to the gate, shutdown and here we are. But the checklist isn't availible so I cannot start a new flight. Maybe it is possible to add a "reset" button into the 3rd MCDU to restart the checklist?

Been flying this bird all week and can say I am impressed since the updates. Questions re the taxi checklist. It appears to me that the checklist should be done prior to taxi? It appears the taxi checklist is a little delayed and you have taxied a fair way before the taxi checklist activates. Am I wrong to assume that the taxi checklist should be done prior to the flash bar stating to release parking brakes and commence taxi so all checklists are complete and ready to taxi? Also probably be done to death but I'll add it in as I've noticed it with the A320 etc that the checklist should have the ability to be restarted or recommence that …

There is a problem with setting the Fuel Pumps manually and running the Checklist manually, without the Co Pilot enabled. Do not set the Fuel Pump switches to ON prior to commencing the Cockpit Preparation Checklist. Wait until the challenge "Fuel Pumps" is stated in the Checklist, and then turn all the Fuel Pump switches ON, then you will get the required response from the checklist. This is what gjgriff needed to be advised.

G'day, my preference is to do things manually therefore I never have the co pilot switched on. Any automated functions such as taxi/landing lights coming on when moving is not something I like, I would prefer any automated option to be able to be switched off. I think these automated functions should only be associated with the co pilot and if this function is not used, then nothing automated should happen. Just my preference. Since the latest update, I find that the checklist stops after closing the doors. The aircraft is by far the nicest available on P3D, I even prefer it to the Boeings. Also is there a way of rolling back the update to the previous version? Good work as always Aerosoft, Happy Holidays.

Sorry if this issue has been reported or not but GSX don’t seem to work with the new a330. I select request boarding/De-boarding, the vehicles position themselves next to aircraft but it gets stuck with GSX saying open exit 2. I do open exit 2 and cargo doors open when the cargo vehicles are in position. It doesn’t proceed beyond saying “open exit 2” however exit 2 is already open. anyone having similar issues ?

Hey Guys, I am using version 1.0.0.5 of the A330 in P3D v4.5. In most situations, I have the jetway connected to door L2, so I would naturally close door L1 (I use the turn around state as default). However if door L1 is closed, the checklist screen does not let me start the cockpit preparation checklist. If I open Door L1, then Cockpit Preparation turns orange and I am able to begin. Then it would only move to before start after door L1 is closed after the cockpit preparation checklist is complete. After I completed the cockpit preparation check, the checklist prompted me to close the door, and he stopped after I closed it. In regards to lights at night ..... I have talked to Air Canada pilot and Aeroflot - All of them said that: 1. They never turn on taxi lights right after or during the " before taxi checklist". 2. They never turn on landing lights right after "before takeoff checklist". Lights are turned on manually: For taxi (Taxi lights): Right after the push is complete aircraft is cleared to taxi, they could sometimes do before taxi checklist while tug is still attached if the push is long (generally is for heavies) so they dont want to blind the people in the tug or those around. Hello I am running latest version of P3d with Hot Fix 2 and latest version of A-330. I have been having multiple issues with checklist where the checklist stalls when you have to taxi greater than 10 knots. Also it stalls at random checklist items and you cannot turn it off. It says Delay and nothing else happens. I think the latest update broke it.You also cannot skip the item. You press the button and nothing happens. Thank you

the same problem topic has been posted in many post, and just simply be closed. But I don't find any solution in previous posts. Both GSX pushback and A330 default pushback are tested, but no one works.

The automated checklist does not recognise the aircraft is taxiing at 10+ kts therefore will not complete the checklist and all subsequent checklists. Is this a known issue? Thanks

I got the A330 and really enjoy the immersion of the checklists, my only annoyance is that it will automatically turn on taxi lights for before taxi checklist and landing lights (and t.o) during before takeoff checklist. Those are not required and real life and only use prior to taxi and prior to take off. If I am doing checklist but I will havent taken off I dont need them on.

Hello guys. I did a reinstall and updated to the latest build but when I checked for the AI checklist, it isn't work. Any Idea why this might be so? I would have ensured that the AV was turned off, and a restart was done after installation. Regards,

Can't get to work. Read the manual and still won't do this. Also have the A318/320 professional and no problem. I realize this requires a different technique, but I can't seem to get it. Thanks.

Hello, i don't understand why for a few days the operation of checklist (pilot and co-pilot ar on) is erratic. The pilot no longer executes all requests from co-pilot..i try to look for where is the function that cannot be executed to do myself manually. Using the skip item is not a solution. The check liste is incomplete. Thank for yours replies. Michel

Couple issues I see compared to 319/320: 1. The checklists seem to take awhile to complete. Pretty long pauses between items/responses. Any way to make this quicker like the 319/320? 2. On pushback after the most recent GSX update, I had to set the parking break, then release the parking brake, and set again to get the "wait" to start the after start checklist. It was working correctly before the GSX update. (I hadn't done one for awhile because they make me nervous about something breaking) 3. Press 1 for the Before T/O checklist does not work. Hello, I am not sure if this is where I need to post this question or not but I just purchased and installed the A330. I went to the settings and turned on the checklist for both the captain and the copilot. When it starts calling each item on the checklist, the screen keeps changing to different areas of the panels... How do I turn that off? It's pretty annoying. Thank you very much. Regards, PVazquez

I have installed the A330 three times und i have manually updated the C++, because the update througout the installation of the A330 failed. Now i have the following problems. At the "After Start Checklist" the Copilot is unable the set the pitch trim to the right value. According to the FMC the pitch setting has to be 6.0 up, but the copilot set it only to 4.5 up. At the end of the "After Start" Checklist the pilot start to call out "Lights on" and repeated it without any stopp. After this error occured i'm unable to controll die taxi-light and the runway turn off-lights. Continuation of this thread: I wasn't trying to use checklists at all, I set up the aircraft myself, attempted to push back using GSX2 and the issue occurred. Not sure how the thread veered toward the conflict between viewfocus and chaseplane (I've disabled viewfocus as well)
