Hi, I just had my first flight with the new A318 tonight, and noticed a few issues. First, I could not load or apply the information I had set in the Fuel Planner prior to starting the sim. Second, I tried loading the Taxi State, and it sounded like something was happening, the left engine began to start, but quickly stopped again, and I was left with neither engine running. Also, the cargo doors were open and I could not close them using the Doors page on the MCDU (3). Eventually I just loaded the Take Off state, and that worked OK and the cargo doors shut themselves. Cheers,

Hi Hanse, I've noticed some bugs on CL behaviour. 1) In Cockpit preparation CL the second call is "waether radar power supply". If it is already "On" the CL stops. No way to go forward nor skip. It must be "off" before the call. 2) The same happens when you reach the "weather radar gain" control call. If the knob is not on default position (Cal) you can't go forward. Setting on "Cal" after the CL Call has no effect. 3) The copilot (when is on) doesn't set the parking brake (I'm running the latest update v 1.0.12 ) Thanks for your job! Best regards

I noticed that when I take too long to check off the CVR item, when the co-pilot repeats the item, she'll start rattling off items before the CVR item, but it'll play twice and ends up overlapping.

Hi! There seems to be an issue in the checklist where it is not able to continue if a light switch is not in the expected position. For example I usually turn on the taxi light when I start moving. When the taxi checklist then runs it gets stuck on taxi light because it does not understand that it is already on. There are simialar issues with landing lights, rwy turn off lights and more when the switch is not in the expected position before the checklist item. In the old buses the checklist would check if the switch was in the correct position and if it was it would check the checklist item and if it was in any other position it would automatically correct it.…

Immediately after takeoff, the copilot seems to be preoccupied with exterior lights - she keeps repeating "exterior lights" whereas I'm more interested in more mundane things, such as airspeed, altitude, flaps settings, etc. Perhaps there's something wrong with the checklist. If I'm not mistaken, it's a part of the after take off checklist, so she shouldn't be mentioning this item so early. I'm using P3D 4.3 (client update) and Win 7.

Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional Version=1011 I started the A319 with the Cold&Dark mode, the checklists could also be processed well, pushback also, but during Climb and Cruise the message "MCDU2:Configure and Start Pushback" was always displayed. The Descend Preparation checklist was later displayed and processed correctly, only the above message reappeared during the Descend. Regards, Wolfgang

When running through the checklists and auto FO selected ON, I get a Close Doors caption on the FMC. This does not cancel when the doors are closed. I cannot access the rest of the checklist as it thinks I have not closed the doors. Workaround = Set aircraft to Taxi state in the FMC.

But I just get a lots of clicking sound, the Fo nagging me and are not able to turn on the signs. But if I turn off checklist, I can set the signs! A bug?

On my last flight the CL did not detect engines were started. I used the CL from C&D with the copilot enabled. After (GSX) pushback I started both engines, but the CL never detected that the engines were started. Normally I here the voice of the pilot saying "engine X stablilized" (or something along that line). Also the titlebar kept telling me to follow the instrcutions of GSX. I waited 2-3 minutes to see of the CL would eventually detect that the engines were running, but it did not. With the brakes on (so I did not move) I then applied some thrust to one engine, and then moved the thrust lever back to idle, and then when the engine had spooled down the…

Hi Can someone please help me. I'm missing something but I can't figure it out. When I'm start to decent I'm get stuck. I can hear the co pilot read "FMA Check",then nothing. I do not know how I get thru the descent checklist from there So for the rest of the flight I don't get the descen checklist complete until touchdown. Approach and landing checklist work I have tried to read the manual and google it, but I can't figure it out what I'm missing to perform. Same if I use the CO-pilot function to. Best Regards Mikael Olsson

Reached the Flight Control checklist item for moving the sidestick. I moved the sidestick (my joystick as well) in all directions. All inputs work correctly and show up on FCTL display and also show correctly on outside view the actual physical movement of ailerons, elevators and rudder. BUT the Move Sidestick Left part of the menu did not progress nor did it run thru the voice commands. I skipped the item. And the checklists moved on but the Move Sidestick Left still showed on MCDU and Infobar. As the checklists progressed the new items just overlayed on top of the Move Sidestick Left. I can upload a video to youtube if that helps. Image below shows the overlay…

Hi. The checklist works fine when flying from Paris to London. The problem I have is flying back to Paris. After GSX Pushback, both pilots go quiet. Can this please be fixed? I remember the checklist always throwing a hissy fit when doing multiple flights on the FSX version as well. As you can see everything is greyed out so I can't skip. Thanks I

In the Checklist there is a built-in push back function but it could only be used together with the complete Checklist. Some users of the previous bus versions complained about this and requested that this function also should be available without using the complete CL. This is now possible: we added to GROUND SERVICES a PUSHBACK menu item and to it the PUSHBACK SETUP menu function This works the same as described in your Step-by-Step tutorial But if the user selects this push back function via GROUND SERVICES there is no need to use the complete CL anymore. The relevant CL part only starts automatically after the settings are made and START has been pushed……

There were some last minutes changes regarding ZFW/ZFWCG and BLOCK FUEL and I am not 100% sure if I manage to get them inserted in the manuals. So best to put it here as well. Use the LOAD- and FUELPLANNER to calculate those values and then push “Generate Loadsheet” Open the MCDU 3 “LOAD and FUEL” “INIT LOADSHEET” and the values from the LOAD- and FUELPLANNER are imported Load those values into the plane LSK1-3R (time based) or use LOAD INSTANT Open the MCDU 1 and go to the INIT B page Double click on LSK1R and ZFW/ZFWCG are imported Double click on LSK2R and BLOCK fuel is imported Though not realistic, this wa…
