Step by Step guide / Checklists

Hello everyone. This is not a support request, but a suggestion. Sometimes checklists are stuck, or none are available in the MCDU (even CHECKLISTS option is at ON state). Possibly because someting done wrong by myself. Anyway, an option to cancel the current cheklist, or maybe start over current, or jump to the next or previous checklist would be fine IMO. Checklists are important. But when somehow the approach checklist stuck, you cannot use landing, or after landing checklists etc. My best. Kagan

Hey there, (hope I am not double posting - first thread seems to be gone!?) is there any way to assign shortcuts to checklist actions or is there any shortcut to skip an item from the checklist? Sometimes the checklists repeats and I cannot manage to open the FMC and navigate to the skip section. Is this something AS would need to develop or is there any way to hook into the script? Not sure where to start my search here. Thanks for any help!

Hi there, I wonder if someone with P3Dv4, the Aerosoft A320 Professional and GSX level 1 can help. On the old Aerosoft Airbus (FSX/P3Dv3) there was a setting in the right MCDU options to configure the pushback to incorporate GSX into the checklist logic. I now have GSX (level 1) installed in P3Dv4; but when departing in the Aerosoft A320 Professional, only the default pushback option seems to be incorporated in the checklist logic. The aircraft doesn't seem to automatically recognise GSX as installed; and there doesn't seem to be an option in MCDU3 to specify GSX for Pushback. Has anyone else had similar issues? Is there maybe a setting…

I made flight LOWILFMN01 and everything worked fine. I saved the flight when I passed by NERAS to have a point to return and practice GO AROUND and alternative routes. I returned later to the saved flight and continued it. The speed was 230 kts. When the call out "APPROACH CL: STARTS IN 4.7 MILES ..." appeared, I pressed the '1' and the approach cl was sung. After the call out "FLIGHT ATTENDANTS PREPARE FOR LANDING." I activated in the MCDU the approach phase, FLAPS 1 was deployed automatically but the speed dropped to 200 kts and not 170 kts as I suppose it should have been. I waited for a while and I entered in the grand final. Then, manually, I changed the speed to 170…

Dear Aerosoft, After loading a save file and preparing to resume a trip after diverting- When I go to switch on the lights, the switch resets immediately to off. Also selecting the swap frequencies button no longer works either. And It seems also I cannot start the engines. Starting a brand new scenario however I dont have this issue... Is this a known issue? Its very strange.

Hope I'm in the right place for this. When I load the A318/9 the flight deck appears for a moment and then switches to the passenger cabin where it freezes, and when I try to change it with the views (top left) some it works with others it takes the view outside the aircraft. When I originally downloaded this it was okay, I haven't tried to fly it as yet, had my head in the manual. Flying was to be today but then this happened. Help please. Don

Hi Aerosoft, Just did a flight with the A319 (v.1.2.1.1) and the checklist and copilot both enabled. After landing I got the 'set baro reference captain' command. Baro was set to the value in the MCDU. Also changing it with 'B' did not solve this issue. Any clue? Erik

I noticed that after the latest update the crew oxygen stays disabled with both checklist and copilot ON. Is this intended?

Hi, Let me share an observation from several flights, which are concerning the Approach and corresponding CL. Please note that I am using A320 pro, version 1.2.1.0 with the included Easy Jet livery (if it matters). Check lists and co-pilot are both on. Would appreciate comments. 1. I noticed that there was a stand alone call for activating the Auto brakes quite sometime before the approach CL was started. This activation was part of Approach CL before. I actually have no idea how a RW approach CL looks like, however this setting might be part of some CL, but not as a stand alone item, at least as per my opinion. 2. Hi, A very little question regarding this beutiful AC A320 prof. Use sometimes the checklist for pilote and Co pilote. Cockpit preparation checklist the reding stop after the Copilote lady read ATC Mode...... then she repeat Mode...... nothing more happend and I try to skip but no response. Then I need to do the checklist manually. What I´m doing not right? Please let me know if any have a solution for it!. Regards Sven-Erik Ekeroth

In the A320 the checklist hangs after at FINAL. The LANDING checklist is started when the aircraft touch the ground but not the AFTER LANDING and PARKING. In the MCDU3 DESCENT and FINAL stays flashing. I repeated the flight about three times and it always happens the same thing.

Bringing forward from old thread: During after start check list, flight controls ( full left, full right etc etc) are not recognised by voice set though movement of Joystick in PFD and ECAM FCTL recognises very well. Uninstalled Logitech 3DPro joystick and reinstalled as well calibrated. But not responding during check. Joystick perfectly working in FSX on same computer during after check list process in all respects.

Hi really enjoying the Aerosoft Airbus Pro, did two flights this weekend both online and with ATC and using the checklist ON First officer OFF, on both flights the checklist and the Airbus were fine, until ATC decided to descend me early, even before the descent checklist prompt had come up at 40nm to TOD. The flight continued , but with no checklist or comments from the First Officer checklist for the rest of the flight, I continued with out them and the arrival and landings were great. My suggestion/ question is there away we could manually trigger next checklist in the checklist options in the FMC to cover this sort eventuality ?

Skipping the controller check during the checklist doesn't clear the text prompt in the MCDU or the top status bar. The text gets overwritten by subsequent prompts.

Can't seem to put my finger on what's causing this. When I'm preparing to land, and the checklists are calling for the cabin signs to be switched, the copilot will attempt to switch the cabin signs, but I'll hear the switch contact on/off, on/off very rapidly and won't stop. I've tried to click on 'skip' in the checklists, but that option is not available at that point. The checklist will continue to call out 'cabin signs, cabin signs', and continue forever. At first I thought it was a drop in FPS below 20 that can cause some odd behaviour, but I was stable at 30. Any idea what's going on? would love to fix this. thanks

Just got the 320/321. And I still have the same issue that I cannot configure the pushback from MCDU3! No matter where I click or scroll I cannot shnge direction or lenght! And I have the green text all the time! Running P3Dv4.3 as admin.

Today carrying out a flight with departure in GMMN from RWY 35R SID ADGA1D having the CHKLIST with the pilot and the copilot in on, arriving at the level of transition that is in 4000 feet and flying in the A320-232 IAE SHARK, the last update applied , should the sequence of the CHECKLIST pass the pressure to STD has not made me, in the previous preparation, if I configured the transition in the FMC to 4000 ', this change if you do the A318-319 Did this bug happen to anyone else on other flights?

Is there an action I need to perform for the FMA check in the descent checklist? I've found that with the copilot on, they will say "FMA check?" and then there's no response or action - pausing that checklist. Can't see anything in volume 5 of the documentation that might be relevant, so perhaps there are no further steps in this checklist?
