Twin Otter Extended

Hi, I recently downloaded the Twotter's V1.21, having bought one of the first XT versions, but on installation I find error messages that my username/serial number don't match. I've checked and rechecked these, and tried installation with and without internet connection. Screenshots attached. Help, please?

Hello, I bought the Aerosoft Twin Otter back in 2013 and used it for FSX at the time. I bought it from FSPilotShop, and unfortunately they do not offer the most recent installer package for this product (Only supports up to P3D v2). Where will I be able to find the most updated installer, as I have very recently purchased P3D v4. Kind regards, Noel

I note that some of the aircraft in the Twin Otter Extended pack have 2 fuel tanks and some have 4 fuel tanks. In the versions that have 4 tanks, how does one move fuel from the wing tanks to the centre tanks?

I hate to have be pleading for where this paint kit is entombed but no roads lead to Rome!!! I bought my original copy of the Otter from FS Pilot Shop and they didn't offer the paint kit as part of the bargain. Even this jewel plucked from an internet search failed me ... I noticed a difference in weight(model 300 wheels): 1)the manual data: Spoiler 2)the AS TwinOtterX FuelPlanner data MZFW : Spoiler -fuel Spoiler -MTOW-taxi weights?? Spoiler -MZFW Spoiler Which in the end will the weights be correct? DOW 7414lbs -weight empty? MZFW 62500 MTOW 12500 MLW 12055 Capacity: PAX 20 Cargo 358kg? Fuel 1379kg?

Hello, could anybody help me how to activate again the radio shack from my Twin Otter. After many months of pleasure flying this bird, the radios Bendix King are not working anymore.

Greetings, I have the boxed edition of Twin Otter Extended, and I wonder if there is an update for it? I am finding the power control very slow to respond and I cannot find how to engage reverse thrust consistently. I am using a CH products throttle and CH combat stick for control. I recently re-installed the Antarctic x. scenery. With it comes the Twin Otter. But after installation there are no sounds of the cockpit. The only sound I hear is the one from the angins. Do you guys have a solution for this problem? regards Dirk

Good evening. I’m trying to assign both the landing and taxi light to separate buttons on my joystick. I’m using FSUIPC, so I used LIST Var to see the list of commands. Scanning through the list, I could find any reference to either landing or taxi lights. Does anyone one know what they should be? Cheers, colin

Hello. I have Prepar 3d v.4.1 and Windows 10 and many addons. When I fly from Lukla ( Aerosoft) my Twinn Otter crash after 1 minute when i push on gps display. What is wrong? Kjelle

Hey there, I was able to reproduce it several times. When using the GPS tool and zooming in/out on its map many times I get an CTD. Now I am not sure if this is a Problem with the GPS or with the route or any waypoint? Any ideas? Gabriel

i opened a ticket for support in the zendesk. Jon told me that my problem seems to be more a bug and told me that i need to talk about this in the forums. so lets go. There are some audios that are not reproducing well. (Fuel pumps) and (TEST FIRE) and fire alarms. There are some kobs that when i press them the sound relation for this knob is no going whell also with C&D config the airplane seems to freeze simulation, and maybe cause a CTD with P3DV4. Also tune freq.s on the radios does not activate ATC default menu or ATIS . My CTD this time comes when i manually select ATIS INFO on the defaul ATC message! Cheers …

Dear Aerosoft Team cant understand why is the Yoke movement not fully 90°degrees in the Twin Otter (Virtual Cockpit) look on the new AN-2 or Default Cessna 172 /Maule etc ! Thank you best regards

Hello, I want to ask You about one thing, the fuel planner for Twin Otter allows only to load 20 pax and only about 849lbs of cargo. But I am flying my Twin Otter only for cargo operations in Air Hauler 2, so - is there a planner which allows me to load more cargo for my plane? Because at the moment I can't find one I load my plane like this: Simulating cargo by 20pax * 182lbs = 3640lbs then I add cargo for value that is required by Air Hauler 2 job. But it is a little bit annoying, so maybe there is a solution?

I have been looking at all of the other forms but I cant find one that tells me where the re-paint kit. already look the aerosoft folder for FSX in the twin otter extended but it was not there. can somebody tell me where it is. Thanks

The problem is still there on the version 1.21. It hangs or crashes to desktop in several seconds after engines shutdown. I tried to disable AS Flight Recorder, tried to disable Antivirus, and other add-ons, no luck. This happens only with the Twin Otter. I'm running P3D 4.1 on Windows 10. Hi, I just switched from FSX to P3Dv4.1 and want to install my addon aircraft as XML addons with the Lorby addon manager outside the rootfolder. But somehow it seems to be impossible to install the Twin Otter Ext. and the Bronco outside the rootfolder of P3Dv4.1. I used the "browse"button, but then I get thet message "can't find the simulator" and I am forced to install in the rootfolder. Is there a workaround? Hans

I Can see my rudder pedals move, but I can’t steer while taxying . Inflight the rudder works ok. Am I overseeing something? Related to the ground friction issue mentioned elsewhere in this forum perhaps? Anybody. Plz help

Hi! Aerosoft team I have a similar issue as another user (but not quite the same) and I have done a reinstall following your suggestion. My issue is: when I click on the text of a specific checklist item, the camera won't shift to a proper view. For example: if I click "Control locks" or "Parking Brake", it goes to the overhead panel (refer to my first pic). If I click "Fuel Selector", it goes to other improper view(my 2nd pic). It never goes to the proper view. What can I do to fix it? BTW, I am using Chasplane too, but it's the same even if I close Chaseplane. Thanks. ps. I am using P3D v4.1, Windows 10 pro. version.
