    I very often have the problem that the transponder code is completely invisible. It may be a light reflection issue since it usually happens when the sun is shining on the pedestal. The transponder code is the completely white, and only when I zoom out almost to the maximal possible amount, the code becomes visible. Is that an issue for anyone else? Almost a year ago, I suggested in another thread that the code would be displayed when the mouse hovers over the transponder switches. I still think this would be a good idea. Thanks, Peter

    Do you have a list of new features / fixes for a future update? I see you're making the cargo version, awesome. Top of my wish list would be: 1) IAS and Mach hold modes for climb / descend. 2) Fix for the occasional vertical speed oscillation in cruise. 3) 2D popup for door, GPU and external air controls. The keyboard shortcuts are kinda clunky and I keep forgetting them

    Hi guys, Just trying to work out why this aircraft is so badly mapped with so many misalignments everywhere ie (picture attached is just a rough logo added and on my 4096 base with simple upgrades). When is the developer going to: A - Fix these mapping issues B - Supply us in 2018 with an aircraft that doesn't use pathetic (no offence honestly) 1024 low quality, poorly made textures. I get the old excuse for VAS etc. but even in V3 and before we had almost all aircraft with 4096 textures and deeper systems running with no problems.     Here's a screenshot of the new freighter version and updated loader pop-up. The main cargo door has been cut and animated, but I need to do some texturing before I can show it open. There is also a new ground services pop up to connect external air, external electrical power and to open the cargo door.

    How does one save a flight so that INS settings are saved too? is it even possible at this stage. For long flights I sometimes want to continue at another day but when i load the situation INS is not active. All other flight paramenters are saved and working fine. Is there a special way to save INS info so that it loads too?

    I am just doing my first flight with the latest update (2.0.0.1). The Altitude-Hold knob on the glare shield appears not to be working anymore. Everything else works fine, I can also hold the altitude using the autopilot V/S wheel, but I don't get altitude alerts. Does anyone else have this? Best, Peter

    Hi I am wondering if this update has been sent to the resellers yet? I unfortunately purchased my copy at PC Aviator and they took at least a month to post the last update you provided. I realize that you have little control over their business practices but last time an e-mail from Mathijs seemed to grease the wheels somewhat. Sorry for the Rant but I sure wish this update could have been available with the Aerosoft Updater!

    I'm having trouble getting the smoke effects to work and I also noticed that there are no contrails at cruise. I guess I might try a reinstall but I believe XMLTools is installed correctly. Everything else seems to function as normal. I know there are specific conditions necessary for smoke but I am not seeing it at all at take off via an extra window.

    Hi, I think it should be useful to get an added panel view for the AP; so far I'm forced to go to the pedestal or leaving the cockpit view to operate the AP switches. regards, Fulvio

  15. Haven't flown the 8 in awhile (flying my GA aircraft) and now went to do a flight and find I can't get the rear passenger door nor the service doors to open (always worked before. Tried several other aircraft that have multiple doors and they work fine. Using version 1.0.03 in P3D V4.3. Thanks for your help.

    The plane is cold and dark. (PD note that this airport does not have Dynamic lights even is not designed for P3DV4). no lights switch is on, all set to off. But Nav lights still ON. And NAV on/off button seems don't change anything. And NAV on/off button seems don't change anything. in this other situation as you can see nav button is ON but navs are off

    I have real trouble updating the INS during flight. Of course I used the INS manual, but it didn't work, the index stays on 9/5. Information about the "altitude" of the VOR's are also rare. Since the Airplane already has some easy ways concerning the INS, what about an easy trick to update the INS?

    Hi, i'm having issues with my spoilers on the DC-8: i can't extend its during flight, for example, during the descent to the destination airport... i opened the operational manual and i saw that the hydraulic system that manage the spoilers is shared with the one of the landing gear, so when the landing gear is retracted, the spoilers doesn't recive any hydraulic pressure, but i also saw that they've a switch that can override this situation, so during a test flight i tried to set the switch in override mode, hydraulic pressure increased till 3000psi as the operational manual says, and then i tryed to deploy its (i were at 185 knots stable at 4000 feet), but nothing …

    Hi, im right doing a long flight to Boston. I have a problem with fuel tanks. All main pumps are in feed only. aux 1, 2 ,3 and 4 are depleted. main 1 and 4 are reaching bellow 5000 lbs but 2 and 3 remain at 17600 lb. this is very strange right? i have set know main pumps 1 & 4 to feed only as it says in the tuturial but i dont undestand why 2 and 3 main tanks are still completely filled. What im doing wrong? or its a bug? its the first situation i have with this aircraft as is the frist time i do a long flight with this plane?. Im trying to cross fuel from 2 and 3 to 1 and 4 but cross valves dos not work, it seems they are not simulated. thanks …
