We choose to do it that way because we found more and more issues that seem related to a mix of versions. Friends, unfortunately we have been informed that some AV software sees the A330 configurator, and possible the same for other products, as a potential problem. This is mainly because it contains code that alters other files ('cause that is what a configurator does). Other then reporting this to the AV companies there is very little that we can do about it. Normally when we send these reports we don't even get a receipt message, most AV companies simply do not care a lot about the damage they do to others. In the past we have seen people installing the Airbus Pro to not suitable folders, which could lead to problems. Therefore we recommend the following way to install the Airbus Pro. Since quite a while Lockheed Martin introduced the so called "add-on.xml" method to install addons (aircrafts and sceneries). This method allows the installation of addons outside the P3D mainfolder into any folder of your choice without the need to point P3D manually to such a folder. If the addon installer does his job, P3D automatically detects such an addon. The big advantage is that you do not need to reinstall such addons in case you upgrade P3D. It might also help you in…

Select the Experimental path if you like to take some risk (does not affect this update) Select the product and start the update. If you have additional liveries installed... they will now be kept intact, even if the aircraft.cfg is updated!

If you report an issue it will ALWAYS help us if all the logfiles are included. I'll explain how to make sure they are created and where to find them. 1. for starters make sure logging is activated in the configurator: 2. if you want to have ALL log files created (mind you they can large) you can edit the ini files. These are located in the "where_you_installed_the_aircraft\Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional\Data" folder. If you open them you might see Logging=1 or Logging=0). 1 is on, 0 is off. I have installed the Aerosoft A320-321 Professional (for P3Dv5) in P3Dv6 using the method most everyone is using to get P3Dv5 versions of aircraft and scenery into the sim (C:\User\Name\Documents\P3Dv6 Add-ons). The aircraft are installed and I can see them in the Vehicle Selection Menu. However, when I select one, I get a CDT. All of the other aircraft (MilViz, Project Airbus, etc.) all work just fine. It's only the Aerosoft aircraft that I'm having trouble with. It has to be something in the sim that is preventing the aircraft from loading? Is someone having the same problem and found a solution? I realize that the product has not been developed beyond P3Dv5, yet …

Hi I have tried to install the A320 series and A330 into Prepar3d 4.5. During installation, the dialogue window indicated the correct folder for the sim but after installation, the aircraft are not visible. Any ideas on what the issue could be? Thanks Craig

After install and reinstall keep getting nd cfg error - cannot bring up flight book and FMC works sometimes I had great expectation for this plane and like the a320 it turned out to be an expensive disappointment

I know many have experienced this issue, and believe me when I say that I have tried every possible solution. Barring a support ticket, which I will do as well, I can't get any of the lights to show up; I've tried every possible solution. I have also noticed the following: In the aircraft.cfg, there's an issue with the [LIGHTS] section. Specifically, there's only one light, the VC light. I know this is an issue, but I have no idea if this can even be fixed. 10 days ago I still successfully loaded A320 and completed a flight. (but it took a very long while to start loading the aircraft after I click OK at that time) And during these days I only flew several flights with PMDG aircrafts and performed FSDT update, didn't installed any flight sim stuff. Today I would like to fly A320, so I loaded the default F22 first. After entering the scenarios, I selected the Vihicle option and then choose A320. I install addon liveries and they show up in the livery manager but not in the simulator. I would have raised a ticket but this is also something I seem to be unable to perform. Please help. PS. The livery manager looks also very different from the one that is seen on the tutorials Thank you

Just purchased A320-321 Professional. Installed it and tried to run it the first time. Gives me the "Sound Initialization Failed!" error, then crashes to desktop. Reinstalled the software itself, then also did a clean install of P3D. Running the latest version of P3D V4.5 (4.5.14.34698). Any help appreciated!

Hello, I have a little issue with my aerosoft product. The panel integrated lights do not turn on at night. Just the flood light does. I updated to 1.4.2.3 but I still have the same issue. Has anyone it had it before ? And if yes how was it fixed ? Thank you

Hello, everyone. I recently purchased Aerosoft's A330 Professional from Orbx Central since I saw it on discount. However, when I try installing it via Orbx, it will not install into the P3D library, rather into the Orbx Library. Many of the aircraft's features are missing, as a result. Does anybody know of a way to get the Aerosoft installer instead of the Orbx without having to purchase this again? I contacted Orbx about this, but they weren't much help at all with this situation. Hi! I recently bought a CD of A320 / 321 Professional I went safely to do the installation and the program asked me for mail and key code I put my email and the code contained in the box but it tells me that the mail or the code is wrong and that first I have to register my product for this I went to the Aerosoft website but I did not find where to register my product I tried to put it in the cart and below I put the code contained in the box I thought it worked but nothing does not work says code expired or not found, can someone help me? maybe putting me a link where to register the product in my name so I can enjoy this plane? thank you in advance

Hi, Does anybody know why after just installing A330 version 1.0.5.1 in p3d4.5 it mostly does not appear for selection in SELECT VEHICLE (yep, just not there) but on rare occasions does appear? Richard

at prepar3dv5.3 had problem to get the fuelplanner working an at dubbelclick and start as administrator of the fuelplanner getting a message wich i fotographed ,the fuelplanner is also only seen at A318-319 its also to use with A333 i think ,hope you can help Johannes de Jong Netherland
