Voice Sets

Should you want to create a voice set and upload it here follow these guidelines. Balance (left/right): The PF voice ideally should have an 85/15 balance between the two stereo channels. The PNF (PM) is best with a 20/80 balance. That way you hear the voice coming from the most logical locations. Volume: Check the volume of the default files, try to get as close as possible. Format: Wav, stereo, 32 bit, 44100 Hz Set: The voice set should contain the complete set of PF, or PNF (PM) or Ground. You will recognize that from the file names. Do NOT merge two sets. Naming: The zip should be called PF_name of author etc. So PNF_Mathijs.zip or GROUN…

Hi, A small problem though. I can't hear any sounds from button presses, landing gear etc. I think it is the sounds that are supposed to come from the ASC module. Prepar3d v5 Aerosoft Airbus A320 Prof. v1.4.3.2

There are sound files for 'flaps 1', flaps 2', etc... but I have never heard them. Is there something I need to do to activate them ?

Hello I have been trying to find out what exactly triggers specific cabin announcements on the A32x pro but I couldn't. Not in the documentation not in the forum. For example I never managed to hear the ASC_CC_Welcome playing although I have checked the file itself and is fine. Does anyoene know when it is supposed to play? Also, ASC_CC_Safety usually plays while taxiing but not always. Can someone help pls? Cheers Mircea

For the last verson of the bus, I had created my own voice sets for the checklist. with professional, there is no option anymore to impement it or any other voice set. will you create that option again?

Hi, I have installed,updated and reinstalled,updated the A320 Professional.Both times I get the message,before loading the aircraft in the sim: ASC_PF_OnAuto.wav is missing. Then the aircraft loads as normal. What can I do about this?

When i press other buttons, you hear a clicking sound, but when you click the CVR TEST button only, no sound is heard. Attached the video and I am using P3D V5 version and Aerosoft A320-A321 Pro V5 1.4.0.1 test.mp4

Is there a way to create airline-specific cabin announcements? If I took a full copy of the \Aerosoft A320-A321 Professional Base\Sound_ASC folder and replaced some of the ASC_CC WAV files (e.g. ASC_CC_Safety.wav) with an airline-specific file, for say, Delta, is there a way to reference the alternative 'Delta' Sound_ASC folder I've created, using the aircraft.cfg file, so only Delta aircraft play those announcements, in the same way that QualityWings QWPAS works?

Hi! Is there anymore hope for the volume control fix for A318/321? I'll think it's very important feature (like AS busses for FSX) into future. For the immersion of your busses, I still hope you can fix this little thing. Really don't know it is hard, or soft to fix it? I am user, not developer but this think is important for every one. Friends, I'm unable to find any official documentation concerning what each cabin sound is and what triggers it. Is there anywhere I can find this? If so, can someone direct me to it? I'm trying to understand how the sound system works, and what triggers certain announcements as I am working on a new cabin sound pack for the A330. Thanks in advance!

Sometimes I change my view, perhaps to take an external photo, while the hostess is making security announcements. But after switching to the external view, when I return to the cockpit, the announcement is gone. Even though it has just started making the announcement, it disappears. How is this possible?

Dear Mathijs Looks like there is an error in your PDF in the Sticky topic about creating your own voice set: Nr. 3 of the Ground crew on Page 7 says: "OK then captain, tow bar is connected, your steering pin is removed, all clear signal on the right, have a good flight" It sould be "disconnected" instead i guess... would be better for the safety of all the ground personel and the cost of maintenance... In an earlier post, Mathias stated that there maybe new voice sets in 2019, I don't see any new voice sets. Could the voice sets from Airbus Extended be imported and used? New voice sets would most definitely add a new dimension to the Airbus Professional fleet. As far as making my own voice sets, that's not possible. I am surprised with the redo of Airbus Extended into Professional that the voice sets weren't updated also. There is a third party set of cabin crews announcements out there but I am not sure if they would be compatible with Airbus Professional. How would you turn off the native voice sets to use the third party ones? Just wondering.

Crossing the Pacific tonight and the voice set got caught in a loop of saying "Lights On" non-stop. No break, no pause. Just a continuous repetition of that two word phrase. I know this bug has come up in another form and forum, but it was closed to further replies without an answer.

Just bought and installed /updated today. Doing first flight with the A330. I hear the engines and GSX but no clicks from the buttons or switches. Thanks for the great aircraft.

Excuse Me how do get the background sounds back to normal if disconnect and reconnect your Bluetooth device? When i disconnect and reconnect some sounds when you click thing in the cockpit the sound will not be same as it was in the beginning?

First of all, this is only what I was making when I doing Finnair announcements. The list of files and they triggers are below. Ive been reading a lot of these topics about new (additional voice sets). answers keep coming back to "service pack 1". when service pack 1 is released, there will be option for new voice set. I just bought the Bus a320/a320 last week. I love it ! but confused as to service pack 1. I have updated via the aerosoft updater. my product is : Installed version: 1.2.4.2 Isnt that beyond service pack 1? if so, I don't see any voice set options for Crew and Flight Attendant. Just checking. thank you

So there are no sounds in the A319/A320. Only sounds are heard are the engines, and GSX. Any ideas, thanks?
