Manual Flight, Autoflight and Flight Management

There has been a minor change in the navdata format that can cause CTDs on entering the ORIG or DEST airports into the FMS. Unfortunately, this change was unavoidable. However, the problem can be solved easily: If you use Navigraph FMS data cycle 1811 rev 2 or newer, you will have to update your CRJ to version 1.2.2.3. To do this, start the Aerosoft Updater and enabled "Experimental Updates" in it's configuration window. Then restart the Updater and let it update the CRJ to the latest version.

The TOD is now showing in the MFD like it should on the upper right side of the screen. I know the TOD is being calculated correctly as it's indeed shown in the MFD Data page: Anyone know how to get the VNAV profile shown in the MFD (it's selected in the MFD menu)?

In my FMS I selected just a runway for my approach and the FMS added it into my route but assigned an altitude of FL350 instead of the actual airport elevation. This causes an issue when I remove the discontinuity above it because it jacks up all the automatically assigned altitudes. Here are the previous waypoints with correct altitudes followed by discontinuity followed by runway 13 with incorrect elevation: When I remove the discontinuity, it turns all waypoint altitudes to FL350. How can I have the FMS properly assign my final runway waypoint with the correct altitude?

I've been reading a lot of complaints about this problem and it doesn't seem that the problem has been resolved. The CRJ-900 Professional has a bad problem with suddenly deviating from its track and making turns that it was not programmed for. There are no dis-continuities and the Nav Source is set to FMS1. I've followed all the directions in the manual to the T. I'm departing from Dallas Fort Worth - KDFW on runway 35L to KBHM. The Departure SID is the FORCK3 Departure. At about 1,000 ft, I engage the auto-pilot and is in Nav and Speed mode. It tracks direct to MECHL and turns right direct BORDD. Greetings everyone, I am not sure if anyone is receiving the same problem as I am, but when I try to enter a FLX temperature value via the PERF page, I get a message saying "Not Allowed" in yellow text at the bottom scratchpad of the FMS. If I enter any number between 1-100, I get the "Not Allowed" error message. I'm pretty sure this could be a bug/glitch as maybe a recent patch has broke the FLEX feature. Keep in mind that I am running the latest version of Prepar3D which v5.4. I just upgraded to this now the flight bag performance page input does not work and I cant change the cockpit state to cold and dark none of the buttons for aircraft state work. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a manual for the FMS in the documents folder but there is no manual for the EFB. There should be a manual for the EFB. Where do I find it? Ken.

As the title reads, I'm having a hard time creating any custom waypoints. Can someone tell me whats wrong or if it's even supported? See the Screenshot. I get the Invalid ENtry message after pressing LSK4

I type in a flight plan with SID and STAR and save it in the FMS. When I exit the Scenario, then reload it the Scenario, the flight plan in the FMS is gone. I see several old post but the solutions do not provide a solution to this issue. Help

Goede dag. Heb , de nieuwste, simbrief gedownload met Navigraph -database. Heb de CRJ Pro 550-700-900-1000 voor Prepar3dv5 geinstalleerd. Wat ik ook probeer, ik krijg het niet voor elkaar, de Navigraph Database AIRAC 2302 gegevens, in de FMC te zetten. Dus in de FMC staat nog steeds Navigraph database van 2019. Hoe kan ik dit oplossen? Hallo everybody, can anybody please tell me how to change the PERFORMANCE settings in the EFB of the CRJ PRO aircrafts? I cannot change the numbers of "FWD Cargo" nor "Aft Cargo" nor "Fuel" - normally I would suppose, that clicking to the "left or right arrows" or entering any numbers would change the values. But this has no effect at all ... and so clicking to the keyboard icon (below the blue internal keyboard) does only change its color from white to blue, but it has no effect and is good for nothing (I would think this icon normally enables or disables the keyboard, but here it does not). Just bought the CRJ-pro for P3Dv4. Going thru the tutorial it takes me to the EGB and tells me to change settings als PAX and fuel. How hard I try i cant give input to the pax or fuel. Other TABS are working. When i pres backspace on the keuboard in EFB it deletes the figures in PAX. I can enter a new value for pax but enter does not get me to the next option it just stays at pax as the only figure i can change. Pressing the keybord in EFB doesnt change anything. Looked in the manuals....it only says what and why to input, but not how. \Looked on the forum, only solution would be clicking on the I-pad and a green ligt should indicat…

P3DV4.5 WIN10 Hi today flying my CRJ from LEAS TO LEMH rwy 29 amaka 2f and rwy 01 ils SARGO 3B . 1:30 air time . on cruise while monitoring the fue, l discover that the FMS fuel and time calculations where totally wrong. My ETE to destination was 1h but on the FMS was showing 2 h (totally no sense). the fuel burn was about 1.6 T/h with 3.9 t total i should arrive 2,3 t at lemh. Fms prog and mfd where showing 0.7 t Is there plan any solution to these or anywone is having the same issue with this or its just me cheers

Hello, I ask you to know if it is possible to implement the localizer symbol with diamond like G/S on PFD? You can find a picture with this localizer symbol and green diamond. It is not on all of Bombardier aircraft, but you can find this on some aircraft from Air France Hop, for example. I am a P3Dv5 user. Regards, Alex

Is there anyway to assign a key/button to altitude bug? Or what is the key binding?

Coming in to EKCH rwy12 (ILS). The LOC was captured and altitude 3000. The GS was armed but not yet alive. All was going well. Suddenly the plane started descending (before GS came alive). Tried the approach again and the same thing happened - suddenly started losing altitude - would not hold the set altitude of 3000

Hi, I generated a few flight plans via Simbrief and tried to load them into the FMS. All failed. CRJ from Aerosoft. MSFS from Microsoft. I uploaded the files to: 1. Hello, I'm using the MSFS CRJ 550. I'm creating a new flight plan within FMS. 2. I'm going in the Route menu and save it. The file appears in the folder. 3. Restart the sim/flight in the same location 4. try to re-load the previously saved plan. It says route loaded. but after hitting the "Exec", the flight plan is empty. What am I missing? UKLLEKYT.flp

Is the FMS supposed to keep flight plan data when you save the scenario? If it is I am doing something wrong because everytime I try to save the flight I have to reprogram the FMS. Thanks for the help. Tom V.

Hello, I read the Vol3-Tutorial.pdf that came with the CRJ Pro installation for P3Dv5.1, and I am seeing an issue with the SPD mode during CLB. I have AP on, together with AP ENG, SPEED and NAV modes. My throttle is set to CLB. As I am climbing, I notice that the plane seems to be slightly rocking back and forth. Not enough to change the vertical speed reading, but enough to be visible and cause motion sickness, as if on a ship in waves. I can definitely just use manual VS mode during the whole climb as a solution, but the tutorial seemed to recommend SPD mode, and I would also prefer to use it. Is it possible I set something wrong through weights?…

Hi Hans I am not using FSUIPC. I use the F3 key to increase the throttles. With v2.5 the throttles move in the "manual" range BUT the engines do not respond - The N1 readings remain at idle. The engines only kick-in when I reach the CLB detent when they go suddenly from 20% N1 to 85%N1. At CRZ ALT I hit the F2 key to go back into the MAN phase and then the engines just go back to idle. This is in P3D v4.5 The throttle keys worked fine in v2.4 Trevor
