Hello, I have a few questions to shoot. In regards to the Mk.53 variants, will there ever be any consideration to having options of a ventral tank without guns, and the option to add overwing tanks? Quite a few of the images I've seen of Saudi Lightnings have had clean ventral tanks. The second question is this - because of the fact that both the T5 Lightning and Mk.53 Lightnings have the special shiny external, while the original F3 and F6 expansions did not, is there a possible cheeky workaround that I could create an F6 model by having the F6 mdl interior and then the F53 mdl exterior, or would there be conflicts? I apologise for yet another thread on this infernal subject but I hadn't seen anything anywhere else regarding whether the F3 and F6 Lightnings will be getting the P3D v4 treatment or not. Can anyone comment if its going to happen, timescales etc?

Hi, I installed the Lightning T5 in P3Dv4.1 + the new DLL's from the pinned WinZip file (P3Dv4 fuel.dll sound.dll and effects fixes.zip). When I start the Gpu the sound is corrupted... It has the effect of causing stutter and freeze (1or 2fps)! Same problem during takeoff ... The result is either a definitive freeze or a Ctd. P3Dv4.1, W7U64 I will add that this is the only addon with which I have this problem. Many aircrafts I have in P3Dv4.1 (Fslabs, A2A, Pmdg, Milviz, TFDI, Aerosoft F-14 latest version, all work perfectly ...) Thank you and Regards,

Hi.At present I am getting to grips with the T5 55 Lightening. When it comes to the weapons, I can understand the differences between the aircraft, but i cannot seem to get the same range of weapons to work on the same type of aircraft. I can use the cannon on the T55 Kuwait colours. The rockets will load on different sortie but will not fire. The other T55 no cannons at all and no rockets will fire! Am I missing something here? Hi Dave, I've just taken the F53 for a test flight or two. I found that I can't hit a thing with the iron bombs!!! (more practice needed). I did notice that I couldn't get the TACAN display to work properly, if I set it up as I do in the other versions it wouldn't point at the station. Secondly I've noticed on all variants of the Lightning's the Aileron trim gauge is operating in the reverse sense (it shows trimming left wing down when you are trimming right wing down). Finally please have a word with the night shift as the still haven't changed that undercarriage bulb!!!!!!!! all the best David

Hi all. Have the F6 etc I bought the T5 all for fsx. All is ok with the F6 but with the T5 I cannot find the weapon sight switch nor it seems any weapon, which I think is because there is no sight.Tacpack is working fine on my other aircraft including the EE f6 group. Having just got back into the lightning after a break I’ve got a few questions. Firstly have all three models got the same avionics now. I know that at one point the ADF didn’t work in the F3 but seems to work in the other variants? Secondly did the F3 VSI get redone or is just a matter of changing the background scale to match the needle? Finally some recommendations scenery that works well with the Lightning’s and is there an AI package (I’ve noticed some models over at mil ai works) but I’m assuming the come without flight plans. all the best David

Hello, I installed all versions of your Lightning in Prepar3D Professional Plus v3.3:my last purchase was the T5 version, but in this I have a problem with the T55 / T55K model. When I load the aircraft I do not have the sound of the pilot's breath and also the oxygen flow indicator gauge does not work. I made some attempts to solve, using the files contained in "P3Dv4 Lightning fuel.dll sound.dll and effects fixes" overwriting the originals, I also tried to replace the panel of the T55 with that of the T5 one (where everything works regularly) but unfortunately the problem remains. Ive recently installed both the T5 and F6 models onto my new install of FSX SE. however when I load the aircraft up in the sim everything first appears to be ok but as soon as I go to the external view my FPS drop to between 0.4 and 2.2 rendering it unusable. I dont expericance this this with any other aircraft I have only the Lightnings. Using FSX SE on Win10 Thanks for the help in advance. Regards Dale

I have all three Lightning packs which I use in FSX. They are excellent! Is there any news of the release of the official P3Dv4 versions? I note from other posts here that people have done a cut and paste to get them into v4, but ideally I would prefer to do a straight install.
