Here's a challenge for all you steely eyed fighter pilots . The zip has an AI model of the target banner as used on APC's (armament practice camp). I use either formation setup or add it as a tanker in TP to get it flying, that way its easy to set the pattern speed and height, but use whatever way you prefer. Initially the pilots would fly an academic firing pattern with a wingman taking it in turns to attack from the trailing start. , but you would only fire on passes you thought were good. Once qualified the pilot moved on to a Lim-op shoot ....you only had 40 rounds (20 per gun) , enough for two or three short bursts , but you were only allowed 4 passes .…

Can you please clarify which of the Lightning packages is P3D compatible and how to upgrade the other two(three?)

Some recent footage I have not seen before of the F1 .

...the engines flames out. There is no way to relight, only bringing the fuel up to 60% using "Fuel and Payload" they start to work again. This only happens with the variant F6, not with the others. I use P3D v3.3. I wonder why . Thanks, Fulvio.

Hello, today I installed the entire Lightning series on P3D V4.4. I downloaded the file "P3Dv4 fuel.dll sound.dll and effects fixes.zip" and executed the instructions by deleting and replacing the various files. But I have a problem with the AB that only in the F3 and F1A version is correctly displayed as can be seen in the attached screenshots. How can I get the correct flame with all the versions? Hello all, I'm currently using P3D v4.4 and i want to get the Lightning f.6 but it says on the product page that the F.6 is only compatible with P3D v2/3. Is this correct? I've heard of people using it on v4 but is it supported?

Q1.) I am using the English Electric Lightning F3 with FSX Gold. I cannot find any way to operate the Autothrottle-Clutch by a keystroke or joystick button. Q2.) How can I set the default position of the TACAN switch to A/G insted of A/A when loading the plane? Any hints? Regards -ernst

I have re purchased the F6 Lightning because I have moved to p3d v4. I am dissapointed because the airbrake seems to be non operable. can anyone cast some light on this as without airbrakes landing is precarious.

If, like myself, you have been pulling your hair out in frustration over Team SDB's RAF Binbrook (and others) scenery incompatibility with Orbx England scenery In P3Dv4 please be calmed by this little tidbit.... It does work! A friend recently informed me as to the "fix". Really simple: 1. Open the Orbx FTX Central program 2. Select and click "Settings" 3. Hi, I have enjoyed the Lightning for a pretty long time, but one of my very small gripes is that there's little, aside from the weapon systems that can be mapped onto the stick. From what I understand, the only assignments are the following(aside from Tacpack items): Break chute deploy Brake Chute Release Gun Trigger Certain switches like the following would be great if there were commands associated with them (perhaps LUA in PSUIPC?): FD/OFF/AP switch on stick Canopy close Canopy Lock Autothrottle Flt Refuel Tacan controls Heading Bug Heading and Height Switches SWP cancel I'd b…

Hi all, Maybe I've missed something, but I tried downloading the T5 into P3D V4.3 but the InstallationShield Wizard is saying it cannot find the simulator on my PC. I located P3D but it won't allow me to install into that folder. I'm under the impression that the installation into v4.3 can be done? I tried finding this topic throughout the forum but couldn't find anything. Do I have to wait for an update? Thanks

I've just popped into the T5 for the first time in a while, and try my hand at meeting up with a tanker in prep for a little jaunt over to Akrotiri - for some reason I've never properly tried an AAR in the T5.. I set myself up at 25,000ft and kept between 250-270knots and flipped on the probe light and then selected the AAR switch. I was there for a while and for some reason I wasn't seeing any increase in any of the tanks so I pressed shift-z to see my fuel percentage, I flew like that for half an hour and during that time I didn't take on any fuel. Although I've never used AAR in the T5, I usually use it in the F3 and F6 and I've never had any problems. Jus…

I cannot turn on the radios in the Lightning and I need to call comms, tower, ground etc. How do I do that? The manual cockpit instrument images do not help and should be remade perhaps. Any help please?
