Hello all, Flyinside just updated their drivers so I can now use my Oculus DK2 with P3D V4. Thankfully with my new card it runs far smoother too. Here's a short clip(forgive me for the end, the AI banked and dropped his speed brakes so there wasn't much I could do!): Cheers, Peter

Posting a few screenshots from a recent multiplayer session:

This zip has the 64 bit version of the LightningF6.dll fuel gauge. that is necessary for fuel transfer in P3D v4. Simply replace the file in the panel folder of any of the Lightning models with the big tank (F6 ,F2, T55 ) ensure the reference in the panel .cfg reads the same as the .dll title (i.e. change either to suit, the title does not matter ....only that they match) [Vcockpit01] gauge02=LightningF6!FuelXFR, 0, 0, 0, 0 This will restore the wing to wing transfer function, in flight refuelling and over-wing fuel dump in P3d v4 . The gauge can also be substituted on the aircraft with the slipper tank (F1,F3, and T5 ) for…

Ladies and Germs, May I post a fan video of the superb Lightning T5 with many thanks to Wingman and The Cameron Person. My apologies for the jittery frames in some sequences, the raw video was fine but for some reason Sony Vegas insisted on installing stutters in to the frames and I just couldn't get rid of it no matter how I tried to jig the rendering settings. Aerosoft Lightning T5 along with Rex4 and Soft Clouds, Orbx England and Team SDB RAF Coltishall. It is rather long, 20 mins, but it starts at engine start to engine off. Hope you enjoy and many thanks to all.

Hello all, Been in the hangar upgrading my computer. Threw out my old graphics card and moved to a 1080, bought two new displays to make triple monitor and OC'ed my 6700K to 4.5GHz. Here are the results:

Hi, Maybe I'm missing something but when I used the installer, I had to select the P3D V3 option and then redirect the files to V4? While this way the aircraft has installed fine enough, it seems the aircraft's frames are lower now, by at least 20 FPS. Is there a particular reason why? Thanks, Peter

Hello. My name is Andrew and I am relatively familiar with flying the Lightning, but I'm brand new to the TacPack combat system. Is there a basic tutorial or info on how to use TacPack with the Lightning? I haven't been able to find much in the line of manuals for TacPack and all the video tutorials I've found show using TacPack with other planes. I just use a basic FSX setup with a joystick and I would simply like to be able to fire the guns and missiles on the Lightning, which I haven't managed to be able to do yet. I have the F3 and the T5, both of which I have found to be fantastic products.

Sorry to sound a bit dim but can anyone point me to where the manuals are installed for the Lightning T5 in P3Dv3? It would appear that they go in a folder titles 'aerosoft' in the P3Dv3 folder but, while I have the aircraft installed and running, there's no sign of the manuals there. Can't locate them in the start menu of Windows 10 either. Thanks for your time.

Hello everyone! I'm looking to get a nice jet aircraft to have fun, and the EE Lightning seems to have the perfect fit. Nice price, its weird and old school. Now the question is: which one of the 3 models should i get? Which one is your favourite and why? The three have the same quality standars (textures, sounds, deep)?. Hello. A strange problem has occured. After a system failure I had to reinstall everything but now the ASC-sounds are completely missing on both F3 and F6. Running W7 64-bit What could be the problem? E

Hi, I know it's unrealistic in this aircraft to navigate along a flight plan with pilot auto following a GPS, so, I hope that nobody will feel offended... The GTN autopilot option (in the GTN Config program>>>GTN750 UNIT 1) must be set to "Heading Hold" not "Nav". I just made a flight there is 5', it works perfectly with the Lightning AP ! This is how I proceed : 1/Set your GTN like described above ("Heading Hold") 2/Fill your flight plan like usual. 3/After take off put the GTN on "Gps". Important the source must be the GTN, not FSX. 4/Lightning master auto pilot ON + stick auto pilot ON then engage heading. That's all. …

Hi I bought this beauty because it is an amazing airplane, and some one from Aerosoft who's opinion matters said it was his favourite. I can see why. It's such a wonderful product. What a fantastic feel when flying it. Pure pleasure. However, I have not mastered it as I would like to. The manuals are fine but some guessing has to be done for the logic of things, or maybe I'm just missing it. I searched the net and didn't find much in terms of manuals or tutorials. This zipfile has the special effects for the lights and reheat amended to compensate for the reduction in scale experienced in P3D v2 onwards DR P3D new_fx.zip

I have an issue with the afterburner where its been reported before for the Single seater (Zip download is empty?) where the flames are all wrong and move rearwards as airspeed increases. Can this be fixed or can the resize file be made available?
