Aerosoft Mega Airports

Hi, The vehicles which are driving around Berlin Brandenburg airport (for example the push-back truck in my screenshot) seem to have very low resolution textures. Is this how it should be? The vehicles on other AS airports are of much higher quality. I'm running P3D v5.1. Stefan

I have Heathrow Professional installed in my E:\Documents\Prepar3d v5 Add-ons\Aerosoft\Sim-wings London Heathrow Professional. I downloaded the SODE package. Where I place the SODE folder to rub the batch file? The confusing documentation says to use the Scenery Add-on folder. Is that the same as the one in the v5 add-ons folder and, if so, do I put the folder in that folder or below it?

I purchased Mega Airport Berlin Brandenburg Professional from the Aerosoft Shop. However, the only available download is 1.0.2.0. The product page indicates that ASUpdater is then needed to update to 2.0, which is compatible with P3d v.5.1 -- the only P3d I have. I do not have P3d 4. When running the installer for 1.0.2.0 at the very end it says there is no PD4 installation. All of the files appear to install regardless of the warning. But ASUpdater doesn't know the product is installed (I have some MSFS 2020 products which ASUpdater does see). ASUpdater also recognizes that P3d v.5.1 is installed. So I how do I get ASUpdater to run the update? Or is …

Hi, when selecting Parking spots, like Parking 55 for example, the SODE download file does not work properly. The jetway won't be able to connect - it just doesn't move!

Good Afternoon, I purchased EDDM for P3D V5 and the installation seemed to go well except that I keep getting an error message that it isnt registered in the addon.cfg file for V5 (its not in the updater nor does the configurator seem to work right). Is there as step I am missing?

Dear Aerosoft Support I bought and installed EDDM this morning for p3dv5 from Simmarket and installed the optional SODE files. Immediately I tried to load p3d at EDDM in the FSLabs and repeatedly CTD. Hi There was an old topic to which I refer Unfortunatelly it is still not solved. I have also orbx installed but the problem is aerosoft Zurich airport because when I deinstall it the things become normal. I wonder if there will be an update somewhen.... Pieces of earth are wrong, roads are completely wrong that it is not the quality I would expect from such a product: and specially when the problems are so long known..... Thanks for the reply

Hi All I am having issues with aircraft parked at EGLLv2 on P3dv5 (P3dv4 doesn't seem to show the same problem). There is a particular aircraft position where the nosewheel sinks part way into the ground. I have used the 747 as an example in the pics but this happens with all aircraft I have tried. Most parking positions seem affected. I believe I have EGLL at the top of the sim priority and although I do use Orbx EU England, this is much further down the list and I have the relevant setting in Orbx Central to use the Aerosoft version. Hello, As I said in the topic just before this one in the forum I have now reinstalled FSX after an issue with crashes happening in the Aerosoft Mega Airport Zurich. But now with the reinstallation of FSX Steam the Aerosoft Mega Airport Zurich I have purchased on Steam doesn't install correctly into FSX Steam Edition. During the reinstallation I have also deleted (I think) all registries for FSX Boxed Edition which was also installed on my pc. Therefore now folders like the one where the scenery.cfg is located isn't named just "FSX" but "FSX-SE". This could maybe be a reason for the installation of the scenery not working. Now obviously …

Good evening. I just encountered a problem/bug when departing from the Mega Airport Zurich V2.0 in FSX Steam Edition. I have tried it in two aircraft: I departed twice in a fully loaded PMDG 777 connected to Vatsim from runway 34 and when I was passing around 2600ft after takeoff the sim froze for maybe 10s and then CTD. (staying in Cockpit view all the time) Thereafter I tried it offline in the Aerosoft A320, again departing from runway 34 and once again at around 2600ft when I got into the outside view to look back at the airport the sim froze and then crashed with no warning. I have an issue here. I use Aerosoft Heathrow, and in the install (like many airports), it asks what runways you may are likely to use. I usually use this without a problem, but now it ignores what runway you want. In this image, you can see that I want Takeoff North, Landing South. That used to work but it doesn't now at all - the aircraft comes in randomly.

Hi. I have a prayer to developer of this scenery, Sim-wings London Heathrow Professional V5...! Is it possible that you guys can make your photo-scenery with all black night texture? At least as an option for those of us that use dynamic lights. In my eyes, that yellow night light on photo scenery, doesn't look good at all, unnatural i would say. I made a little test, i created a photo scenery for EGLL with SBuilder and made that night texture all black, just to compare and see what difference it make. Hello! I have downloaded the MegaAirport for EDDB and in trying to install for P3dV5, I get an error at the end of the installation saying "P3D v4 Install Path could not be found in the registry". This pops up when at the end of installation, the configurator launches. (Version 1.0.2.0.5). When installation starts, the install path is correct. I'm running in administrator mode also. I then tried launching the P3Dv5 ORBX patch but that wont run since it doesnt see the base install of EDDB. Any ideas on how to fix?

Hi Not sure if it’s something I’ve done wrong or my sim but when I go to load up Heathrow pro in v5, the gate numbers in P3D all start with letters and then a number even though all the Heathrow gates are just numbers which makes it impossible to know which gate is which, the same applies when choosing a gate to park at with GSX. Any help greatly appreciated Mark

Good morning. I recently installed LLBG and since then, the ground textures for EGLL have been the ORBX true earth ground textures. I understand the two situations don't really correlate, but its the only change that has occured. LLBG is fine, with no issues noticed. In my ORBX central, ORBX regions and airports are below my lowest 3rd party addon and I have checked for any EGLL files that maybe floating around. If anyone knows how to fix this, please help!

Hi, Bought this scenery from simmarket, generally it's very good but every now and then I notice invisible vehicles taxing (only the lights are shown as depicted in the attached picture) I am also using UT2, but this is the only airport I'm seeing this issue. HI, I had to uninstall ENGM and looked into the Windows app list to do so. I didn't see ENGM listed (other Aerosoft products were) and figured I could just manually delete it. So I did. Now, I want to reinstall it, but a message keeps popping up that a former version is installed and that I should delete that first. I have checked as many entries I could think of and deleted any instance that could be the culprit but alas. Which config file is there that could have kept any reference? Thank you, Menno

Hi, I only have a problem with this scenario. When I load LLBG with the aircraft stationary on the stand, with the radio off, I have the Atis that reads me the weather continuously. If I change scenery, it doesn't. The problem is that on the 122.8 frequency of the two radios I start this damn atis and on ivao I can no longer hear anything. Atis is Tamroor airport... Any solution? Thanks so much
