I thought to write here a brief tutorial about how to use Ivap simultaneously on 2 pc for CFD, with just one Airplane/MTL visible to ATC, in order to be online on IVAO both PF (Pilot Flying) and PM (Pilot Monitoring). Good evening. The co-pilot spontaneously turns off all the displays and lighting that are in the plane. Case 1: When connected, display synchronization ON was selected. The displays went out immediately after connection. Case 2: When connected, the synchronization display was disabled: during the configuration of the aircraft, route, systems, everything lit up and displayed, but as soon as they started moving, everything went out. At the same time, the first pilot is fine. The aircraft was compared on the runway with all the systems turned on (including the APU). What are the ways to solve this problem? Good Morning, Both my friend and I are enjoying the CFD in the A333. We can fly together well and appears no issues. Both use P3DV4.5 and all the same equipment/software. Only issue we have come across is having my friends throttles and my throttles connected at the same time. If we have both our honeycomb bravo throttles connected we get issues with the throttles when taxiing. We hear a clicking noise when in idle and then then my friend increase the throttles (i.e in take off) they jump up and down (presumably because mine are still in idle). Once I disconnect my throttles via the usb as PM all works well. My question is, is there ar…

For an A320 PF and PM seat I would like to run connected flightdeck between two local machines, a desktop PC and a laptop connected by WiFi. The desktop PC runs P3Dv4 and A320 professional, my old FSX and A320 would need to be newly installed on the laptop. Because I have one licence for P3D and one for FSX, I wonder if it will be possible to connect the flightdecks between the two different simulators? All other add-ons like airports etc. I have identically available for both simulators. Will this be possible? Would like to know before the effort of installing FSX...

Hello, by renaming CFD.cfg to CFD_A320.cfg I was able to get the 'connected' to go green. However I still cannot create or join a session: the buttons do nothing. Any ideas? This is in P3d v5.

Hello again! I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but when me and my friend are in CFD and we try to change to the APU generator, for me it switches over fine but for him all his displays go black and we just have to load Taxi State which is a bit annoying since we like the realism of starting the aircraft. Can anyone else confirm that they have this issue? Thanks

Hello, I've spent the morning trying to get CFD to work on the A330 but to no avail. I think I have read every thread under the sun about this, and have tried the following: Every step of the OVPA guides, including forwarding ports 6881 & 6882 on UDP (and TCP as someone suggested this was required). These are given as the ports to forward for the FSX/P3Dv3 version, but no ports are given for the 64 bit versions in the guide so perhaps these have changed? Hello! I am kind of lost with the situation... in fact I follow the whole CTD guide made by OVPA. I open my ports, I check my security, I double, triple check my ports into my firewall. I did check the CFD.cfg file into documents (if it was broken). Nothing looks incorrect but I keep getting no result, when I click connection [ON]... nothing happens and the message [NOT CONNECTED] is showing. My CFG_Log and my CFD.cfg in copy of this post. I have no clue.... the Majestic Software system is working like a charm, and with Aerosoft product, it has been impossible for me to make CFD feature work. Can you please help me? Alex …

Hi there, Using the new release of the A320 for P3D v5 I am unable to create a session with CFD. I can connect and I see that I am connected but when I click create session nothing happens. Any help appreciated. Kind regards.

just first want to say it works very well, with exception to a few bugs. after testing with my buddy we noticed that we can only get a "connected" if in default livery from aerosoft. even just testing by myself will not connect with inibuilds liveries or ones from the aerosoft downloads(atleast the few i have tried). is there a config fix or something else i can do to make this work? also when testing between the two of us we were both using the same a319 united livery from inibuilds. p3d v5

Hey. Anyone else experiencing issues with CFD? Last Saturday I did a flight with a friend of mine, everything worked to perfection. A320/321 Professional. We're using P3D5. Then Sunday, suddenly, pressing "Create" or "Join" or whatever, didnt do anything. Its not creating a session, not joining one. Just doing nothing. It does show "CONNECTED" in the bottom left corner, though. Any advice? Really strange...

Hi, On my MCDU I am able to do the first step> connect to server, (the left side of MCDU), but when trying to push buttons of start a session, or join a session, nothing happens. I have updated, I have reinstalled, nothing is working. Have marked off A3XX connect pro in the config, + aktivitated A3XX connect pro. Hello, me and a friend have a problem, where when he is the one taxiing and brakes, they don't release, when he stops pushing the brake button. Neither of us have rudder paddles. When I taxi and brake, it brakes rather normally. He braked, the plane stoped and the brakes couldn't be released. What can be done? Both of us are in Prepar3D V4.5 (latest version) and have the newest experimental update on the busses (it's on all of them we tried). Edit: Could it have something to do with that he apparently uses normal brakes and I use differential brakes?

Hey, 1. I've read a lot about this error, where P3D would CTD and this error showing, and yes I also read that it has to do with my own windows or so. I however only have this issue when flying CFD. As soon as I start a flight alone (in any of the busses) it all works fine. Only when flying CFD it crashes to desktop (fairly often), showing this error. Was this reported before that it only shows this error when flying CFD? 2. To fix this issue, what of the Redistributables do I have to delete and reinstall? I have a lot from 2005-2019, in another post I read I only need to reinstall the 2015 one or 2017 or whatever. Can someone help me ou…

As I wrote in the tilte of this post: Connecting works ! Create and Join a session works! But ........ when I join a session my Parking brakes go automatically to off. After that I can not close them again. Also my partners Parking Brakes are blocked. I saw many posts about that issue, but no solution. A320 works so I don't understand why that in A330 professional is not possible to fix. We both have a Saitek X52 Pro. Whithout connoting in CFD it works perfect on both controllers. We tested hours but no luck. Has somebody an idea or a workaround for this behavoiur of the Parking Brake?

Hello all, Me and a friend was doing a CFD from Frankfurt to Heathrow in the latest version of the A320. We connected well, I was PF, he was PM, and en route we went to FL300 and direct to DENUT. After entering DENUT in the DIR TO page, the FMC data completely disappeared! The speed was dropping and we were on stall speed, I was entering DENUK by mistake, and I ended up taking control as it wasn't recovering out of the stall. The route was re-entered from DENUT manually, so I managed to do DIR TO DENUT, recovered the speed and altitude and all seemed well.
