The A300B4-200 series is a first generation Airbus with analogue steam-gauges and a (for that time) advanced autopilot. Some of the current operators have made cockpit upgrades based on various GPS systems where the ADI was replaced with an EADI, the HSI replaced with an ND, the CDU replaced with a (basic) FMS. I am running plane on Windows 10 I P3D V4.5. Doors won’t open. Any idea how to get them to work?

I recently reinstalled FSX on my Windows 10 computer, because I love that plane, and not available for P3DV4.5. I reinstalled Simcheck A300 and the FMC upgrade. I downloaded Windows 7 fonts, and added them to Windows 10, and now the FMC is working. I still have two problems. I cannot get the APU to start, or the Comm panel to power up. On the APU panel, I have all three switches on, fuel is on in the fuel panel, and when I hit start on the APU panel, the light comes on, but nothing happens. As for the comm panel, I have power to plane, and turned on the radio switches, but the comm panel still dark. Anyone else using this with those problems in Windows 10…

I used to fly in FSX exclusively, and had the Simcheck A300 and the FMC upgrade, and they both worked flawlessly. I then went to P3DV4.5 for the last ten years or so. I missed the A300, so reinstalled FSX with Acceleration pack, and put the latest FSX FSUIPC file in it. I reinstalled the Simcheck A300 and FMC upgrade, and I know how to make the FMC show up. The problem is that the FMC is not working. It doesn't allow you to make any inputs, so it not useful at all. How can I get this to work? What am I doing wrong?

As the title shows, when I try to change the aircraft.cfg file to add a new UPS livery, and try to save it, it says I need administrator priveleges or contact the developer. I have FSX loading in Administrator mode. How can I change the aircraft.cfg file?

Hello. I bought the Simcheck A300 a few days ago and was happy with it, the only downside: the cdu. So I searched if there isn't a new cdu for it, and with that I saw the fmc expansion, I bought it directly and installed. First there wasn't any fmc, but I managed to install it properly afterwards. But I didn't had time to fly as it was late at night and I needed to sleep, that was yesterday. Today I finally had time to fly the A300 with fmc but directly after I wanted to configure the fmc, I sadly needed to realise, that whenever I want to insert the letters into the fmc they don't appear. After long time on P3D 64Bit platform I decided to go back for the 32bit era to fly on aircraft that was not converted to 64bit, one of the planes I wanted to start learning and flying is the Simcheck A300 so I went to the market but I found out that it no longer available on Aerosoft store and also on Simarket, so my question is where or how can I get this aircraft addon? Purchased this wonderful bus a couple of years ago. When switching views from outside( frames 55 +-) to virtual panel frames start to drop to stop at 6.7+- and stay there no matter what view i choose. This happens only with this aircraft. Also have aerosoft airbus x extended and works well. Tried everything i can imagine from reinstalling to deleting trusted gauges in fsx config and even deleting registry files from simcheck. Nothing works . Also have fsuipc latest; gsx; mce latest (wich works well with every plane). Recently purchased the SimCheck A300 and the A300 FMC Update. Using the Flightsim Estonia migration tool, I successfully installed the A300 in P3DV3. The A300 operates as expected. I then installed the A300 FMC Update. I ran P3DV3 and loaded the DHL A300 but the FMC did not appear. I then discovered the location of the manual for the FMC Update. Under the heading "First Start" is the following: To add the FMC to aircraft, run the „Texture installer“ and update the panel. I located the Texture Installer and ran it. When I calculate fuel with the configurator, I get the weight in kg. Now my FSX is configured to take fuel weight in kg, but when I put the numbers directly in the aircraft fuel dialog, the plane seems to load that much fuel in lbs instead of converting it (the in-plane gauges show the same number that I put in as kg fuel). Is this expected behavior?

Just installed simCheck A300 and the FMC Upgrade in FSX-SE. The FMC's do not appear when loading the DHL version. The Settings window Main Menu (Views-Instrument Views-Settings) has an entry SimCheck A300 SP3FMC, but the adjacent LSK is not active and pressing has no visible effect (the other LKS are functioning). Any suggestions? BTW, haven't found any documentation for using the FMC. Please let me know if you know of any. Thank you

I have tried with some success to install the A300 in P3D v3.4. When I start P3D v3.4 with the scenario screen and then select an A300, the aircraft appears without a tail. If I initially load the default aircraft completely then load an A300 into the sim, further selection of another A300 results in the tail being displayed in the scenario screen whereas at initial startup it had been absent. Note that there is nothing wrong with the model once loaded into the sim itself (i.e. tail present). Has anyone else dabbled with the A300 in P3D v3.4, and did you encounter the same issue (and how did you rectify it, if at all?).

Hallo, ich benötige Hilfe. Seit einigen Monaten funktioniert mein FMC beim SC a300 nicht. Es ist installiert, aber es werden keine Buchstaben angezeigt. Was man eintippt bleibt schwarz und wird dennoch irgendwie "erkannt". Das bringt mir leider auch nichts bei der Auswahl der SID etc, da ich ja nicht sehe, welche ich auswähle. Ich habe alles deinstalliert, übrige Ordner gelöscht, die aktuelle Version aus dem Shop erneut direkt runter geladen und wieder neu gestartet. Mein Simulator ist der P3D v3.2. Hello, While I really enjoy flying this A300B4-200 aircraft within FSX Accelerator, recently, whenever I load a simckeck A300B4-200 aircraft there is a very annoying clicking sound coming through the speakers. It is continuous. If I load a different aircraft the clicking sound is gone, so this problem seems to be associated with the Simcheck aircraft. I have the service pack 2 installed and the FMC upgrade also installed. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this sound might be and more importantly how I get rid of it. This sound can only be compared to the clicking noise of a dolphin as it communicates. Strang…

Hi - I purchased the Simcheck A300 FMC addon and having issues. The select keys are working except the keyboard (ALPHA and NUMERIC). Nothing happens when clicking on the letters and numbers. I am unable to generate a route. I can select the menu items such as RTE, LEGS, VNAV etc.. but cannot make any entries? The product was purchased from Aerosoft and I have the order number if required which I can send in an email. Please help!
