well, this has been a wonderful post to read up on. I learned the CRJ is taking a very very very very very ....... very very very long .... very ... long time to develop. Its quire concerning if the ideal and imagination that Mathjis produced; he took with him. My CRJ 500-700-900-1000 has been collecting dust while competitors stepped up and offered not only study level but full immersion to delights simmers alike. This name Aerosoft is a brand that lost the staple. When I see the A330 come out, I know there is trouble ahead. I mean a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor but there is definitely a hole in the boat. Not trying to jolt anyone, I am a customer, I am not a troll, and I have been quiet for years about these updates. But it's time to think about the anticipation of this promised update, the stress it puts on developers, the stress it puts on customers. I feel you should really think this one through and know when to throw in the towel and just tell us. It's easy to do. Will we be let down, Yes- a promise was not kept but hey ... we know and that is the honest thing to do here. Time and effort are the currency here and this CRJ product seems bankrupt. I am asking as a customer to have an actual adult conversation not why you cannot do stuff that other competitors are doing that you are not. When you talk to us you are selling your brand; just come to terms on the truth. Thank you for your time and all you do to enhance our simulations, not our mental health. The best and blue skies

The fact that this is still being sold at FULL PRICE of 70 USD is a scam at this point. Aerosoft is quickly joining ranks with the likes of Captainscam for me. The only thing that is still good is sceneries, but airplanes are simply a joke. Look at the portfolio: CRJ, Twin Otter, A330....

... and according to comments in one of the forums in MSFS (ATR), some people are "busy" with the PC-6 and the DHC-6 to ensure that can fly soon in MSFS2024 ...

no information about the ATR, and much less about the Updated CRJ

Going to take a stab in the dark and say that the developer is not receiving any funds from Aerosoft to work on an update, but is receiving funds from Asobo/Microsoft to work on aircraft included in 2024. So zero priority for the CRJ.

If the update ever sees the light of day it will likely be a cold day in hell 😛 .

MSFS 2024 changed a lot of variables for the switches, without a complex update the nice plane won‘t  work for 2024. Sad, I prefer the workload of FADEC over the Autothrottle and it‘s fun to handfly, as example the Flight Director is very well programmed.

You're looking at this the wrong way. Since this CRJ isn't working in MSFS2024 it just may convince another more respectable developer to create their own study level CRJ to fill the gap. This IMO could be the best case scenario here since we know Aerosoft ain't gonna do squat.

I don't know what the issue is.

But seems like a lot of weight is resting on the main developers Hans Hartmans shoulders. As has been confirmed by Aerosoft affiliates earlier, he is working on the CRJ, and from an online developer forum, I've seen that Asobo are helping out with some errors that are triggered in the 24 version.

Hans Hartman is a respectable developer (!!!), but I sincerely hope his group would be able to recruit a programmer or two extra to help out (I guess Aerosoft would need to make the resources available), and btw. it can't be motivating to read this forum.

I have little respect for a developer who apparently can't even be bothered to interact with his customers. He has made a grand total of four posts anywhere on the Aerosoft forums in the last year. And two of them had no substance whatsoever.

He should look at how Nick of Black Square is engaging with his community over on the JustFlight forums. He's out there several times a week or even daily answering people's questions and addressing their concerns, and doesn't make any whiny excuses about being treated badly by his customers, because he doesn't need to. He has earned their respect by respecting them and providing a good product and good service. Nick has literally made more good, helpful, informative posts in the last 3 days than Hans has made in an entire year.

never again will buy anything from aerosoft or hartman, not even from simplaza I'll touch their stuff.

A part of me hope you'll get permanently banned for mentioning a pirate site in a respectable publishers home. Don't go there.

this post should remain a testament as to the reliability and trustability of both who made the crj and who sold, and keeps selling, and monetizing on a blatantly broken product.

I had a few regrets purchasing addons for msfs, but this one wins above all others, espcially considered that I paid also for the 900/1000 extension.

Indeed, it's a serious situation, and it surprises me that Aerosoft is not able to handle the situation. They've been super in the Honeycomb-case, and I never had any other issue with Aerosoft as a publisher, developer or store.

it is such a serious situation, that the update of the CRJ for the MSFS that has been offered so many times by the developer and some people linked (currently or not) to Aerosoft has not been published ... and now, those who wanted to see the CRJ fly in MSFS24 cannot, because the plane doesn't fly, as they have commented.

Scusa? I have no idea what you try to communicate. Maybe ChatGPT could help formulate (translate?) what you try to get across?

maybe... I will try... Someday...

You write that the update has been offered so many times by the developer; while some _people_ linked to Aerosoft or not, has not been published. Since nobody is publishing people here, are you claiming that some people linked to Aerosoft is stopping the update while the developers has tried to offer it to us numerous times? You also claim that these unpublished people (linked to Aerosoft or not) recently has claimed that the CRJ can't fly in MSFS 2024, is this some kind of an official statement or a conspiracy?

Sir, that's nonsense (excuse my language).

Geez guys, maybe aim the negativity at a deserving target instead of just another user frustrated about the lack of communication and lack of the promised update. If you have more than a few brain cells to rub together, the post is not that hard to understand;

A certain poster above was famously, or perhaps notoriously, linked to Aerosoft. And has reassured people many times, both before and after his leaving Aerosoft, that for sure the update is coming, Hans is working on it, it'll be great. Other Aerosoft staff have done the same. The developer has done so. Just always without a timeline, and consistently without anything to show us.
