Simple Traffic

Hello, After uninstalling Simple Traffic I end up with ai aircraft with purple textures. Is there anything besides completely reinstalling the game I can do to resolve that?

Hello, I'am happy about xbox release. But I found a small bug. The xbox version does not eliminate the asobo liveries for A320 models for static planes on the ground. Olaf

Yes, I have already read the pinned and locked thread. I see the statement, "Simple Traffic only makes the aircraft look different and changes nothing in how the aircraft behave or where they are seen. Check the FAQ." However, I've been doing a bit of testing and I am seeing a significant difference in the amount of AI traffic and its behavior depending on whether Simple Traffic is installed or not. I do not want departure boards or the right planes at the right jetways in the right airports, I just want see appropriate liveries at airports and Simple Traffic achieves that. This is just a quick note to thank the developers for making this an almost one click reality to fill MSFS with real world liveries, something that I didn't realise how much I missed until I installed it (you can quote me on that!) It would be nice if the plane model could be adjusted so that the nose wasn't so pointy but that's all. Thank you

Hi. Was wondering if anyone has been having any issues on no aircraft showing/taxi/gates since SU9? I've nothing since whether I'm using/enabled ST or not. Using Real Time Online, settings set to my manual for ST. Not using any addon aircraft. Have reset data rolling to 32GB and so on. Don't see anything regarding traffic on MS Forum (anything new at least). Have checked FA site for traffic which shows as active (Bos. Logan). All was good before SU9 using ST w/ aircraft @ gates, movement/taxi & in the air. Set up map also showing aircraft in the area & so on. Thanks.

With the only option to fly on VATSIM is using AIG which frankly have an outdated cumbersome UI, unacceptable downloading time, and makes MSFS load very slowly, not even gonna mention how long it takes to start the apps themselves... ...the only other option is Simple Traffic Tool. Pretty sure it was not intended as such, and only as a 'simple traffic tool' to show some static models in airports, however, this has become the only viable option for matchmaking on VATSIM as it doesn't have its own library like IVAO Is it abandoned? Will it get more models and airlines? Well, if it sells, it'll get updates right? Problem is, I haven't seen it being me…

In your manual it says that you can set AIRCRAFT TRAFFIC TYPE to REAL TIME or AI OFFLINE. But when I set it to REAL TIME there are NO aircraft park ant any airport. You can see my settings attached.

Does this route and carrier make sense East of Istanbul? I'm just trying to figure out if I have to reinstall or it's something else. ST is the only traffic mod I have. No custom liveries or models. Thanks!

Hi my fellow Aerosofts, my question is about the plans / the future of Simple Traffic. I know what you intended when you released this product. But are there any plans for later improvement. For example: implementing custom models (provided they will be performance friendly) and get rid of the default Asobo AI models? improve the AI behaviour (provided the SDK makes it possible) Thanks for answers.

Hello all, I hope someone can advise me or help me. It seems I can load any flight if simple traffic is installed and Live traffic (or AI Traffic) is on, if I deactivate it I can load the flight, OR if I start a flight with Live Traffic disabled the flight will load, and THEN I can turn it on and the flight continues to work fine.. It just seems that I cannot load a flight with simple traffic installed and any type of traffic turned on in the sim. does anyone ese have this issue? or any suggestions? thanks

I read this in the FAQ: In Online AI mode, liveries are selected according to the live traffic data feed within the sim. If Simple Traffic does not yet include a livery for a given airline, then a random livery is selected. This behaviour is controlled internally by the sim engine. It seems like the only issue is that Simple Traffic does not contain all liveries for all airlines, which sounds like there could be a solution eventually, no? In the interim if you will, what if you used a logic like this: If no livery available for airline X at airport Y, then ONLY utilize any other livery which is available currently of airlines that service at airp…

Hi, I seem to have a problem with my airline traffic even on busy mega airports like EDDF. I place the aircraft at a gate in Frankfurt and was pretty much the only aircraft at the airport. There was a JetStar and a Air Canada. Thats it. I used the manual to set up the General Options to no avail. Am I missing some other settings? Thanks for help

I like Simple Traffic's concept a lot. One issue I'm seeing at my home airport of Edmonton, Canada (CYEG) is that although there's plenty of Westjet aircraft at the gates (which is accurate and great), Air Canada liveries are conspicuously absent from the gates. In their place is a ton of "Cargojet" aircraft. Now, there may be one or two Cargojet kicking around CYEG in real life, but I've never seen one, and to not have any Air Canada planes at a major Canadian airport is....not good Any way I can tweak things to correct this? If all the Cargojet aircraft were magically transformed to Air Canada aircraft, things would look very accurate. Thanks!

Was it released accidentally? The manifest states March 21! It's working perfectly anyway, could you tell us what the 32 new airlines are please?

Due to war in Ukraine Russian planes were banned from the airspace of many coutries including EU/UK. Please consider reflecting this in the Simple Traffic off-line AI flight plans.

Just took my first flight after the latest update. No traffic to be seen at any airport. I toggled between AI and live traffic, nothing changed. Any idea what the issue might be?

Thank you for a very nice and welcomed add-on. At some airports I noticed that some airliners flash a different airline. Is there a setting to avoid this? BTW, ground density is set to 0. Thanks in advance.

Hi. I thought random was a clear enough concept, but ... since I installed KODIAK 100 I've never seen CESSNA 208's at all. Seems like KODIAKs are chosen exclusively for that categopry of aircraft. Is anything I can do to make them appear againg? Thank you

eagerly awaiting Simple Traffic for Xbox, is there any ETA? have been getting great AI Traffic results with my Aerosoft purchased version of Simple Traffic in Steam MFS, some call the AI models ‘goofy’, but personally finding the AI models with a wide variety of liveries quite plausible, with negligible performance hit, & the available native AI Asobo models will improve - I’m sure in time…
