Simple Traffic

Hello, I just bought this addon and am disappointed at the moment. In fact, some planes go round in circles before finding the runway and we have planes that fly at very low altitudes over the airport. I hope this will be corrected in a future update. Thank you Didier

Hi, Probably a question for Mathijs or the developers: As far as I understand Simple Traffic includes 1400 traffic routes for Offline AI traffic. I'm curious how the stock MSFS AI traffic routes are affected by this - does Simple Traffic replace the stock routes, or does it add new routes to the existing ones? The reason I ask - as far as I understand the stock AI offline traffic is defined by the trafficAircraft.bgl in Official\OneStore\fs-base-ai-traffic\scenery\world\traffic, right? I know that AIG is specifically renaming this file to make sure stock AI traffic is not loaded to begin with, but it doesn't look like the Simple Traffic…

In page 6 it says that you can either select AI Online or AI Offline, I do not have AI Online option only Real.Time-Traffic and AI offline. Is Real-Time-Traffic the same as AI Online. ????? The option is under Aviation Traffic- Aircraft Traffic Type. Regards Bjorn

Hi, I have contacted SimMakrt for a Refund. Order number - 2859496 They have advised me that without your approval for refund, they cannot refund me. Note: This Product was rushed and it is stucked into a INIFINIT LOOP cause MSFS to NOT load when you have select an Airport. The people that developed this Product and those that tested this should be parted ways with Aerosoft.....This product's quality is rushed and very disapointing. Please tell Simmarket to refund me, I don't want anything to do this with Product. Thanks, Regis

My thoughts are rather simple. There are some (3) FedEx liveries parked at Passenger Gates at KMEM but none on the Cargo ramp. The Cargo ramp has a nice mix of Passenger Airliners like Frontier, Delta, etc, but, no FedEx liveries. Because the FedEx livery obviously exists in Simple Traffic can a file to inserted to replace one or more of the airliners that are parked on the Cargo Ramp there from time to time? Just a thought. Just fired up Simple Traffic at KBOS and noticed planes landing on water. I followed all the settings via the manual as well. Not sure if this will be addressed on a future update. Planes are not landing on runways and keep flying at 3,000 ft and vanish along with unusual traffic jams with no movement. Disappointing to say the least and uninstalled until there's a stable traffic add on available or until there's a hot fix/update.

Some users have reported long flight loading times when starting a flight at certain add-on airports with Simple Traffic installed. We are currently investigating this. The conditions which cause these long loading times seem to be system and / or add-on version dependant (for example, Pilot Plus' Wycombe Air Park purchased via the MSFS marketplace has no issue, but we have had isolated reports of long loading times for the same add-on airport purchased via Orbx Central). If I go to Katl (Imagesim) no matter which gate or which runway, the sim stops charging at around 80%. Katl (Imagesim) is deinstalled and the Airport KATL selected in the World Update USA works

I wanted to adjust the traffic setup according to the manual provided. However, the only options I do have is AI Offline or Real Time Traffic. Any ideas how to activate AI Online? Thank you!

I have only been running Simple Traffic for less than an hour, but, I am super pleased with my first encounter. KMSY New Orleans. I am at KMEM Memphis now and a bit disappointed that I can't see any FedEx Cargo planes. This is the Super Hub and should be full of Fed Ex cargo operations. The airliners at the passenger gates seem to be correct. Oops. I just found the Fed Ex planes at the passenger gates, none on the cargo ramp. My question now is how do I get FedEx Cargo planes to show up where they are supposed to? The instant download and install was a breeze using the new Aerosoft One. kudos for that. Ray

I found the culprit. It appears to be the case that Pilot Plus Wycombe Air Park seems to be clashing with Simple Traffic. This is the only add-on that causes a very very long load time. My normal load time is 67 seconds for the sim at EGLL with my standard community folder with add ons from the point I hit the FLY button to the point when the Ready To Fly button appears. Put Wycombe in the community folder and its 10 minutes and counting so I give up and terminate the sim at that point. Its the latest version that is avilable from Pilot Plus that I have installed, I double checked that tonight.

Hi everybody, I tried to explore two or three large airport in Europe and I can see only A330 and A380 models and few general aviation aircraft. But no narrow body (A320) are used. Can you explain me if i made something wrong ? thanks

Simple Traffic works fine for me on desktop. If I switch to VR with Reverb G2 the traffic isn’t visible. I have the same settings in the VR Traffic tab . Any explanation, please? Thanks, Britjet

First of all these proposed suggestions might defeat the purpose of the product being "Simple", but I will leave them here nonetheless as there may as well be a way with future MSFS updates to keep them simple nonetheless. As far as I've read MSFS doesn't have that kind of AFCAD logic (yet) that determines what airline can/should park at what gate. So I was thinking of something that GSX has implemented. GSX was able to introduce a fallback system that would determine what texture to show on their service vehicles. Hello , I just purchased and installed Simple Traffic into my Msfs2020 . The installation went fine using Aerosoft One application . I run my sim and loaded a flight . Everything up to this point was Perfect . I then pressed esc to end the flight and it got Stucked !! I couldn't end my flight . I restarted my sim. Tried to enter my Content Manager and i couldn't , it got stucked ! Either there is an Issue with the Program or it is in Conflict with an addon i have in my Community folder !! I will do some more checks and get back toy you ! Mike

When I set the AIRCRAFT TRAFFIC TYPE to AI ONLINE I get no planes at the airport. I only get them when I set it to AI OFFLINE Regards Stelios

First of all, I find it very rude that the admin closed my last post for further comments because he felt we didn't see eye to eye. That is not how to run a company or give customer service. NOW, I realized I had ONE custom airport from my vanilla install of MSFS 2020 and at that airport ONLY would the SIMPLE TRAFFIC addon not work. I removed that custom airport which I bought from the sim market place by the way, and didn't restart the sim but just went to KATL and it loaded in the Simple Traffic addon. Now it might not be EVERY custom airport that does this but I will assume that probably what is happening is that most of the custom ones have static aircraft tha…

I’m experiencing infinite loading time when starting a flight after installed Simple traffic. If I remove Simple traffic everything works again as normal. I’m asking for a fix or a refound. (why did you close the other topic?)

As a result we dont have all Airlines in Offline Mode and the Variety is very Low in Offline while in Online Mode there are No Airlines at all...

AI traffic started with moving planes but a lot of planes flight around, circling and crossing the airport at very low altitude (kind of anarchy) see attached picture : example LFPO Airport

Problem happes in KI Offline Mode. So this must have to do something with the Flighplans Aerosoft created right?
