  1. Avsim done a new style of review where scenery and aircraft are mixed into a review of the experience from the point of view of the user. The Twin Otter is used as the basic aircraft for this review and it served them well: "As I walked around the Twotter, I was impressed by how much detail the aircraft had that I had missed in my previous Twin Otter experiences. (Various freeware aircraft) This Twin Otter was set up for Caribbean short haul passenger operations with a full 19 seat cabin (Modeled with virtual cabin views), a very sharp and clean paint job (ok it’s actually 14 different liveries and they are all spectacular), a protective tail skid for those hard landings …

  2. You got to see this one... Jarn has made the best looking FS magazine ever, no doubt about that. download a copy from www.simminglavidaloca.com. In it there is a several page long review of the Twin Otter that has a real Twin Otter pilot describe some fliught he done. Impressive and it made me want to fly! "So major kudos to the Aerosoft crew for another great release.". Can't wait for the next issue Jarn, very very well done.

  3. FlightsimReviews done a review on the Twin Otter Mission Pack and they certainly liked what they saw. "Over all Rating: 9 Gameplay: 9 VERY well done. Various configurations, good variance of difficulties, and a few surprises thrown in with weather and failures, or potential failures (which WILL become failures if not tended too."

  4. Nice review at FlightsimWorld, check it out here. The reviewer concludes: "Overall, the Twin Otter just does it for me. It's easy on frames, doesn't compromise appearance, and is a kick to fly. It's great for island hopping, VFR level flying, or battling through a storm on approach to Lukla in the Himalayas. There's enough detail in the VC and textures to keep you occupied, and the Twotter is simply a great flying experience. If I needed to get twin engine hours for a license, this is the plane I'd choose. If you're looking for a good, rugged plane that is versatile enough for all realms of flight, I'd highly recommend this airplane."

  5. Nice review over at our latest frieds at FlightsimX! Check it out here. They conclude; "Once again, Aerosoft have excelled themselves with this product. I had a wonderful time reviewing it and will be returning very shortly. At 14.95 Euro, this is a bargain. The provided scenery area is small, admittedly, but is so well detailed and produced, it provides a feeling of reality rarely experienced. It also gives you the chance to crank FSX up to the maximum and still enjoy fluid flight."

  6. Avsim done a very nice extensive review of Lukla X and the Twin Otter X (nice idea to use them together in a review). The reviewer liked it: "The DHC-6-100/300 Twin Otter is the best twin engine prop I have flown to date. Aerosoft has captured the aircraft's shape well, packed it full of details and wrapped it in flight models that seem to be very realistic. The quality on all aspects of the visual model show a real dedication to this aircraft. The fact different interiors and types, such as floats and skis, have been included adds real value to the product." "LuklaX is not just an airport scenery, nor is it improved mesh or photoreal scenery. The sum of all these parts…

  7. Screenshot artist, who do pretty solid reviews, reviewed the Twin Otter. And of course, they liked it. "The night before I wrote this conclusion, I downloaded and installed a little tool which extracts and breaks down a lot of information from the FSX flight log, giving you, amongst other things, a total time per model breakdown of your hours. I was slightly surprised to find that I had flown two particular turboprops a lot more than anything else and that the Aerosoft Twotter, which I have had for a considerably shorter time than the other one, was top of the list." Check out the review.

  8. SimFlight published a nice Twin Otter X review this weekend, check it out here "It should be clear by now that this is an aircraft that I really like. It’s not one of those FS2004 aircraft that are being dragged into FSX, but a full new development and that shows. Aerosoft knows where the future is and the show their willingness to invest in it. It’s versatile, looks great, flies superb and sounds better. If you don’t know turbine props you will need a few hours to understand them but once you do you are able to do things you never done before. I do not like big aircraft and I do not really like very modern aircraft. I like to fly sturdy aircraft into whacky airports. I …

  9. Flight sim reviews did a nice review of the Twin Otter check it out here. I am VERY happy with this aircraft and I must say I give it absolutely top marks!!!

  11. Our latest best friend Andrew wrote another review for Flightsim.com, this time about Helgoland X. He liked what he found, as shown in his conclusion: "So what we have here is a very nice scenery that provides challenging fixed wing approaches and has a couple of chopper pads thrown in. The SAR base is easy enough to land at, but the rig is a different matter, given that the pad is small and there is a big flare head to crash into, so get practicing. Just about the only disappointment is the calm seas that prevail in FSX and I would love to see an addon that allowed you to alter the sea state and provide believable storms!" 13. Flightsim reviews had a look at our choppers and they awarded us with with a 9 out of 10 score. "Overall I give this add-on 9 out of 10. You can’t beat quality and with all the cool stuff that Aerosoft included in this package its well worth the money. This is an excellent helicopter for FSX and they have captured it’s excellence like nobody else. Great job Aerosoft" http://www.flightsimreviews.com/review/Sea...awk-Review.html

  14. Avsim reviewed Venice X and they certainly loved it as much as we do here in the offices: "This must be one of the more impressive packages I’ve reviewed lately. Covering the entire island areas of Venice, this was indeed a lot of work on the part of Aerosoft. The main airport is practical and makes for an interesting destination when flying around the European continent .... Even though quite a few buildings of VeniceX are generic, ample variety in heights and sizes make for a believable simulation of the area. Custom buildings and bridges are great, and the active railroad bridge is novel. This is indeed a work of art, as is the real Venice. Performance was excellen…

Hello Folks, Avsim have reviewed the VFR Germany 1: West You can read this review here.

  17. 95% score, which makes it the single highest reviewed aircraft since they went to a percentage system. We are proud, very proud. Not only because we made the cover but mostly because the BeaverX was a typical product of our internal development. Usable, reasonable priced and fun and PCPilot picked up on that idea. The review is written from the users point of view without a trace of a reviewer that wants to show off how much he knows about aircraft of simming.

  18. Christopher Jarman over at Flight Simulator X World is our new best friend for sure! "The realism is so intense in this issue that it actually feels quite creepy to fly low and slow over the city and up the Grand Canal. If you are familiar with Venice, it is quite an emotional journey to see all those familiar buildings, boats and bridges and to see and hear the birds and bells of the city. Goodness knows what the future holds but this scenery is already eerily authentic. Andras Kozma is going to have to work his butt off trying to improve the next development!" 19. Started by Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account],

A gold award for Venice X, check it out at: http://www.gamershall.de/index.php?option=...-FSX&Itemid Here the the conclusion: "Venedig, eine Stadt, die für den neuen FSX schier geschaffen ist und die Andras Kozma optimal umgesetzt hat. Die sehr hohe Dichte an Objekten und das Vorhandensein fast aller Gebäude sind schon für sich alleine enorm. Doch erst durch die Verbindung der mediterranen Geländedaten von Venedig X und den tollen Wassereffekten des FSX entsteht ein Szenario, welches jeder VFR−Pilot mal erlebt haben sollte. „Venedig X sehen und sterben.“

  20. Nice reviews for Dillingham! Or better they are pictorial reviews and we think that's a perfect way to review a scenery like this! Simflight: http://www.simflight.com/modules.php?name=...le&sid=9696 "As I wrote, I got 25 fps steady with only the AI aircraft being visibly loaded after a fast turn. Recommended if you like your flights VFR! And certainly recommended if you have not yet started your collection of FSX addons, this is perfect start. Well done Aerosoft, well done Mr. Womack."
