I had the same problem. I disabled "Aircraft Stress Damage" in the Assistance Options (FS20, in my case). That at least makes opening and closing the door possible.
As for the profile: Virtuali/Umberto recommends to delete the gsx.cfg from the aircraft folder and use his own default profile included with GSX instead. He says the AS profile is faulty. This - for a start - makes cargo loading possible. I found half of the flightsim.to profiles to be only half working as well, so I used GSX's own profile and made some changes from there - thereby creating a custom profile from it.
The tips about manual configuration of doors are valid and good (...I wish you could save these settings - as well as changed/customized startup configurations, like in most other aircraft 🙄),
BUT...
Jetways rather connecting to L1 than L2 is an MSFS problem, I think. If you position the aircraft with its L2 door as close as possible to the jetway, it will choose that. The problem is, GSX will only start boarding PAX, when the preferred door (marked with an asterisk) is open. You can only loose: Whatever preferred door you choose, the jetways are bound to connect to the other one 🤣 So you have to briefly open the preferred door to start the boarding process, and then close it again if not connected to the jetway.
