Hallo Leute. würde gerne von Win8 nach Linux wechseln. Beide befinden sich auch dem selben Rechner, ein Intel 4 Kern mit 3gHz und einer Geffoce Grafickarte. Benutzt wird XP 11 unter Win kein Problem. Als Linux kommt Winux (ein Ubuntu 24.x) Derivat zum Einsatz. Ich habe xp11 demo heruntergeladen. Das war kein Problem, auch die Installation war kein Problem, wie ich aus einigen Fornbeiträgen ersehen kann. Aber wenn ich den Sim starte kommt der Startbildschirm mit den Fortschrittsbalken am unteren Ende, derbleibt bei Netzwerksinstalation hängen. Leider komme ich garnicht erst dahin wo man diese Einstellungen verändern könnte.  Eine firewall gibt es zur Zeit nicht. Hat einer eine Ide was ich machen könnte ?.

Du bekommst natürlich auch irgendwann ein Problem mit sehr kleinen Objekten, wenn die einfach nichtmehr dargestellt werden können - aber, wenn du ein Objekt modellierst für einen String kannst du im Objekt mit dem LOD-Befehl arbeiten: zB:   ATTR_LOD 0 10000   um das Objekt bis 10.000m entfernung anzuzeigen.   Und mein Polygon funktioniert wohl nicht, weil ich vergessen habe die Weather-Map abzuschalten, die fehlt im Paket (kannst du aber einfach auskommentieren, die Weather-Zeile).

Okay, das Laden des Polygons hat gleich einmal zu einem Absturz geführt ... was wohl an einer falschen Pfadangabe liegt. Aber das Prinzip kommt auf das Gleiche hinaus: Zeichnest Du Polygone nach der OpenSceneryX-Methode, sind diese recht gut auch auf Distanz erkennbar. Nur ist's halt sehr umständlich, für jeden von Dutzenden Markern ein eigenes Polygon zeichnen bzw. dieses kleine Ding auf größere Distanz verschieben zu müssen. Die zwei Graspisten von EDAK (siehe Bilder im Anhang) sind da ein gutes Beispiel. Einfacher wäre es freilich, ein fertig gezeichnetes Polygon als Objekt zu speichern und dann als String zu vervielfältigen. Nur spielen die dann leider in der X-Plane-Praxis „Verstecken“.  Also lass ich's dabei wie's ist und spiele so meine EDAK-Baustelle auf den Laminar-Server ...

Probier mal mein Polygon hier, kannst das ja dann mit deiner Textur ausstatten und umbennen (ist aus dem EDDK für die Runway-Markierungen, da ist es bis weit hinten sichtbar). Wenn das bei dir auch nicht funktioniert stell mal die Renderdistanz in den Settings höher und schau, ob das etwas verändert.   Ground_Marking_White.zip

on the CRJ 900 V2 the Stab Trim is working in reverse.  Selecting the switch on the control colum with the mouse.  pushing foreward is nose up and backward is nose down thai is reversed.  

I would also like to know when this will be officially available for MSFS2024. I bought it day one because the info was it will take "a few weeks to make it compatible with MSFS2024". Well, it's been 6 months now (!) and the airport is still marked as MSFS2020 compatible only. So I bought something I haven't seen in the sim yet...
