marf 3
Now that's just pathetic. I thought they were having bigger problems... Let's forget about them and continue to watch this baby growing. I'm really looking forward to this Bus and I'm sure it'll work just fine!

virtualstuff 76
Oh boy, now I've done it... Actually Airsimmer is the most over hyped stuff I've seen in all my years of FS. Nothing special there lol and I'm surprised about the hype created for that particular product ;-) Hence I find it ridiculous how they even reacted this way here and it shows the character of the people involved, just amateurish in every aspect... Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 22, 2009 Author Aerosoft Share Posted December 22, 2009 Okay, hold yer horses guys... I can understand the feelings and I even share a good deal of them. But this is not the location to let others know how you feel. This is not a forum where you can talk bad about others. We got nothing against Airsimmers, never had (clearly shown in the posts that I now removed, the majority was positive towards them for crying out loud) and we don't even now got a problem. If they go to the trouble to get a official legal letter drawn up with the little financial resources they have they really must feel strong about this. I do not understand how the current situation is any better for them, but that does not matter a lot. They wanted it done, we done it. They even wanted it to be public. The readers here are intelligent people, they have seen what was on the forum. They can make up their own mind if we have put Airsimmers in a bad light and have tried in a unfair way to compete. They can also make up their own mind if asking (trying to force) Aerosoft to remove what was posted was a good idea. If you made up your mind, just don't post it here, lol. virtualstuff 76
If you made up your mind, just don't post it here, lol. I agree and this is the first time I posted my true feelings about them or another developer for that matter and apology for posting it here Mathijs. Normally I refrain from comments like this but the actions they made lately is just to ridiculous for words. Enough waisted energy here back to the topic and the Aerosoft Airbus lol André
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 22, 2009 Author Aerosoft Share Posted December 22, 2009 Going back to topic (pleeeeease....) Texturing of the gear started today. It not complete and it does not have the bumps, reflections, dirt and all the other layer Stefan still needs to put on it. But in a faint attempt to distract people I'll post them.

Guest inbrekers1
Well Mr. Kok, even with the gear textures of this quality, I would buy this bird... Now already the textures are better then those of the Wilco A320.

Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 23, 2009 Author Aerosoft Share Posted December 23, 2009 Modeling 99% complete (windshield wipers etc still missing). Now the textures are being completed before we jump back to the VC.
eightandseven 0
Hello, The project is looking really promising. If I could cast a little constructive criticism; the inlet cowl on the CFM56 comes it two main varieties - a smaller inlet for -5A's and a larger for the -5B's. Mathijs/Aerosoft, that is seriously impressive modelling. Great work. One question and I apologise if this been asked/answered before. I read that you plan on producing an advanced version in the future. Do you plan on making a cockpit builders version with FSUIPC offsets, similar to what Airsimmer may be offering? SimPilot767 157
Thanks for your last screenshot! You even modelled the pitot tubes and the angle-of-attack-sensors - perfect! Great work! Do you also have a new screenshot of the VC, especially the display units? Will the aircraft.cfg be prepared for the ASA shockwave lights? According to CFM, all engines of the CFM56-family have the same fan diameter. Look here: http://www.cfm56.com/products/cfm56-5a/9671 http://www.cfm56.com/products/cfm56-5b/9662 But maybe you´re right, the -5B is 7 inches longer.
