  1. The airport needs AES to be active to operate the jetways. So, if you deactivated it, jetway movement will not longer be supported. On the flip-side of that, if you DID reactivate AES and the jetways still do not work, then you have a separate issue.
  2. No, it is a download. The CD shipping service is an option to get a CD version, you do not have to check it. You will get a serial to enter into the AES control panel to activate the credit pack.
  3. How about when you right click it and select "Run as administrator" ?
  4. To do this you must remove door assignments for specific aircraft. What you will have to do is open FSX, load the aircraft at an airport, then window FSX and open the AES icon on your desktop. From there, go to "Set aircraft parameters", and from there you can edit which doors are served, thereby removing what vehicles come to the aircraft. Remember to save it on the bottom right and close it out. You will have to do that for every aircraft you want to make the changes for. Hope this helps.

  7. You should be fine. A standard uninstall (which you could even use the Aerosoft Launcher for), then install the P3D version. If I'm not mistaken the P3D updates work in the same manner as FS2004 to FSX purchases, in that once you buy it, it is yours for all platforms. The fact that it is in your account available to download verifies this is the case. It should be the same registration that is included on your account page for the product.

    If I'm not mistaken just a separate source to alleviate the load on one another, just always make sure the mirror you choose has the correct FS product (FSX, FS2004, P3D, XP10, so on.), because sometimes separate mirrors are used for multiple of the same and also for different FS versions.

  13. I would send a new e-mail to support@aerosoft.com like Herman suggested, but explain everything like it was new. Include the fact that it was a boxed version, and all information you can give on the matter, like what your OS is, your computer specs, if Windows User Access Control (UAC) is turned off, and specifically what type of anti-virus software you use (Only reason I suggest this is I had a similar issue a few years ago, and it was caused by my anti-virus software). Also, do you still have your order number and serial code? (Please don't post them here) Those are also useful, and you may even try to re-download the updates available. If you by some chance you haven't set up an account with the online store, do that here: http://aerosoft-shop...php?language=en After you've done that, click on the "FAQ's/Updates link on the main store site here: http://www.aerosoft....hop.cgi?show270 Sign in, then, in the drop-down box, search for the Seahawk/Jayhawk X, and click on continue and register the product. From that site you can find the update downloads. Either way, send that e-mail with that info, and give registering the product on the site as I laid out above if you have not already. In the time you wait for a response, you may well be able to get the updates and run them as you need.

  19. While parked at a gate with AES, window FSX. Now, open the "AESHelp for FSX" icon on your desktop. Click "Set aircraft parameters". Then click at the bottom right "Repair for push". Save and close the AES window and you'll be good to go.

Well, it takes a lot of work for Oliver to program AES for any airport, as the entire airport requires customization for every parking spot, and as such, the larger the airport is, the longer amount of time and the more work is required to complete it. So, you pay for the time and development work that Oliver puts into the product.
