Wingflex inside the EFB doesn't fix the fundamental problem the current version has. As a former game animator myself, I think the current wingflex isn't reacting to the airflow or weight. In addition, it's also missing engine wobble animation, and that's why it looks so static.
Those are extremely heavy engines that should NOT be static on the wing when spooling up or doing reverse thrust trying to slow down a 265000 kg plane.
In real life the wingflex also shake and warp based on every little bit of aileron input on top of the flex and then the engine pylons attached also move and vibrate with it.
Especially in VR or on a large widescreen monitor, those small details stand out if they are not modelled correctly.
As a passenger the wing is the only thing you will see out of the window. People argue that no body looks outside the window when simming, but if you are dealing with flap damage or fuel leak, you ask the flight attendant to look for these things for the captain, so modeling these details should be there for a damn $70 plane.
If they are committed to improve the plane, I think the wingflex and engine wobble animation must be added to make this plane look heavy other than just a static 3D object floating in the air. System wise Toliss did a fantastic job with it.
