Great aircraft.
I can't say the Aerosoft A340-600 Pro is discernibly better than the inibuilds A340 at the moment. Inibuilds A340 is more stable, better texture quality and in some respects the MCDU seems more involved with pilot inputs (see point 9 below).
Having said that it's great to see ToLiss's work in MSFS2024. I think the Aerosoft A340-600 Pro's EFB is a better experience - perhaps this is because it has a unique feel to it compared to everything else - especially the take off and landing computations, the level of failure simulation is exceptional, replay is exceptional. The EFB in the Aerosoft A340-600 Pro is quite remarkable.
The few issues I am experiencing with this aircraft at the moment include:
Manual opening Doors 1, 2 and 4 after parking causing crash in sim (not CTD) resulting in the aircraft reloading and returned to last saved position - I do not know if this is a GSX problem or not but thought I would flag all the same.
I seem unable to receive ATIS using the AOC menu on MCDU
GSX integration seems ... well let's just say is problematic at the moment
Need a way to connect jetway to the aircraft from within the EFB
Door 2L opens automatically on loading - jetways connect to Door 1L ... would it be possible for jetway to connect to door 2L in that case ....?
Navigraph - need to be able to pin charts - the last/recent chart method is unreliable for me - works well for departure but after a long flight it seems to stop remembering the last chart viewed making planning the approach and landing more cumbersome
Agree with the points made by others regarding the brightness of internal flood lighting
Don't seem to have the 'smoke' from the wheels on touchdown visible?
Being developed by ToLiss - I had expected deep systems and process compliance - but I noticed after initialisation in the AOC, flight level etc alongside ZFW and ZFWCG and block fuel are already inputted in the MCDU in both init page 1 and 2 - sort of makes the init button on the MCDU redundant - in other aircraft (like the Fenix A320, inibuilds A340, inibuilds A350 etc) flight initialisation and manual entering of the ZFW/ZFWCG and Block Fuel need to be entered by the pilot. We need to be able to input these small but important aspects of immersion to ensure the aircraft acts like a sim and like a study-level sim more importantly, and less like PS5.
The flap transition sounds could be louder?
