When I saw the previews of the A340-600, I do really appreciate that Toliss is involved in the system side and it seems to resolve many development difficulties of Aerosoft as seen on their A330. However, the model still looks wrong in many areas.
Engine cowling texture - there appears to be fictional screws near engine cowling seams on the Aerosoft texture, which in reality there is none on the real plane.
As the OP mentioned, the slats texture is wrong.
Engine inlet cowling, the shape looks bulbous, and not as sharp and well defined.
That's without extending the the slats too. With the slats extended it somewhat floats above the wing. You can also see the wingflex is lacking as well.
The flaps has been mentioned in another post before, but it needs some work too. In particular the flap's shape and the flap tracks and related animation. Also notice the static dischargers near the wingtip and on the ailerons, on the Aerosoft model it was made to be 3 gigantic ones next to the ailerons, which is not true.
The landing gear doors on the MLG is not connected to anything, looks like they've made it antigravitational here.
I don't own the A340-600, I'd love to own this but before that I hope to see these modelling issues resolved. This is not to diminish Aerosoft's modelling effort, but to enhance to quality of their work so when the next update arrives we can see a better product. No project is perfect, especially on first release, so I think it's fair for us to point out what the issues are and let Aerosoft work on them.
