MatthiasKNU 134
Nearly 7 years old, this picture. Taken in P3Dv2.4 (I think at least, that it was 2.4). Taxiing for takeoff at FlightBeam Denver on a nice and cold morning: Please login to display this image. Since I won the last two SSCs, I would like to participate out of competition this time! Therefore, do not take this picture into account in the ranking!

TorstenFS 60
Hey Simeon, GREAT THEME! Phantastic idea, congratulations! And very impressive screenshots, Simeon! Again a great pleasure to enjoy and admire them Hard to believe that they are from "former" simulation platforms So I don't want to be unpolite, and I apologize, but in my eyes FSX is not a "former" flight simulator. A lot of people are still using it Me inclusive I can't reach your talent, but may I give some links to my former screenshot threads, to show the other guys why I'm still loving FSX plus photoreal sceneries? (To be honest: I don't need glamorous reflections on the fuselage and I prefer to enjoy spectacular sunsets and sunrises and dramatical clouds in real life, not in the sim. But I'm keen on crisp and detailed photoreal ground textures with an exact and therefore realistic height mesh to discover and enjoy fascinating landscapes ) Approaching Heliport Sölden, Ötz Valley, Austria https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/155325-approaching-heliport-sölden-ötz-valley-austria/ Potpourri with photoreal landscapes https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/154905-fsx-11-pics-photoreal-my-julys-screenshots-potpourri-with-photoreal-landscapes-part-1/ Amazing clouds in FSX https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/154354-fsx-18-pics-my-mays-junes-screenshots-amazing-clouds-in-fsx/ Water and Waves in FSX https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/152255-my-aprils-screenshots-water-and-waves/ Paris, the city of love and romance https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/151696-fsx-12-pics-march-2020-paris-the-city-of-love-and-romance/ A dozen of my best screenshots in 2019 https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/150726-fsx-12-pics-a-dozen-of-my-best-screenshots-in-2019/ Maule Orion over photoreal island https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/150441-fsx-3-pics-my-januarys-screenshots-maule-orion-over-photoreal-island/ Iconic A340 over photoreal Austria https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/148577-fsx-11-pics-my-decembers-screenshots-iconic-a340-over-photoreal-austria/ In the East of Dallas, Texas (photoreal) https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/147857-fsx-5-pics-more-novembers-screenies-in-the-east-of-dallas-texas/ Austria photoreal https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/147359-fsx-5-pics-my-octobers-screenshot-austria-photoreal-bonus/ 10 years VFR Germany - Happy Birthday! https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/146654-10-years-vfr-germany-happy-birthday/ Low and slow over Southern California (photoreal) https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/146341-fsx-4-pics-piper-cub-low-and-slow-over-southern-california/ Skiing in summer (photoreal) https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/145359-3-pics-with-fsx-skiing-in-summer/ Rhône Valley nearby Lyon (photoreal) https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/145027-some-pics-with-fsx-rhône-valley-nearby-lyon/ Always safe landings Torsten

You must be first person in history of flight simming to get reflection of his or her face on cockpit windshield in FSX. Regards, Aharon
Captain Doctor 128
I'm surprised what grandiose images come out in this contest - very nice! My picture was taken a few days after the release of Xplane 11. As an FSX and P3D user, I never really got used to this simulator, which is why it disappeared from my PC quite quickly. Hello Aharon, very well combined! But: It's not a trick - it's FSX ! A nice little gimmick in this smart aircraft addon Of course I'm looking a little bit different in real life. Due to the fact that I'm not wearing sunglasses while simming And due to the fact that I don't have a headset like this. But with a small webcam it should theoretically be possible to replay my smiling face while enjoying the fascinating photoreal landscapes I bet this will be a feature in FS2030. With FSX you can enjoy it right now. If you don't mind looking a little bit like me while wearing headset and sunglasses Stay happy and keep flightsimming! Aharon 465
@TorstenFS Ahhhh thanks for explanation. I am utterly amazed to learn it is possible to combine webcam results with FSX screenshot therefore effectively creating reflection of your face on FSX cockpit windowshield. That is cleverest screenshot technique!! Regards, Aharon

Aharon 465
Here is throwback to FSX years. Presenting my FSX screenshot that modern MS2020, modern XP-11, and modern P3D will never never have in their flight sim platforms which is of course FSX naturally generated and FSX naturally default flooding that hit a Caribbean airport (MWCR airport) THIS IS FOR MONTHlY JUNE SCREENSHOT CONTEST Notice how flooding reaches almost top of the fence. The screenshots were taken in year 2009 THIS IS NOT NOT for MONTHlY JUNE SCREENSHOT CONTEST. It is for all of you to see what the airport actually looks like after the flood receded Regards, Aharon
