A new update for Berlin is now available! Here’s what’s new:
🅿️ Overlapping parking positions at jetway gates
Overlapping parking positions are now also available at gates with jetways. This follows the same logic as our Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart sceneries. BER has quite a few of these positions, and this change is mainly for our VATSIM flyers, who can now select every gate that ATC assigns to them from the world map. 🎧
Please note: if positions overlap, the jetway will only work for one of them. This is still a technical limitation in MSFS 2024, as each jetway needs exactly one gate or stand as its parent.
🖼️ New advertising on jetways
The jetways at BER got a fresh look with new advertising.
🚐 Vehicle parking positions removed
Some of you reported crashes to desktop (CTDs) when zooming in quickly on the world map. These are caused by a bug with ground vehicles in SU6. We’ve reported it, and Asobo is working on a fix. Since apron control (e.g. boarding passengers) isn’t properly supported yet anyway, we removed the vehicle parking positions to get rid of the CTDs.
