A340-600 Autoland

Nee, nicht unbedingt: Es kann sein, dass die Datenbasis des Fliegers 'weiss', dass CAT2/3 nicht möglich ist, und somit die Aktivierung des zweiten AP ausschliesst - genau weiß ich das aber nicht und müsste erst im FCOM naschschauen. Die RW27 in KBOS ist jedenfalls CAT3 fähig, und daher war es kein Problem den Flieger auf ein Autoland vorzubereiten, auch wenn man dann doch den AP vor der Landung rauswirft.

Ja, APPR muss aktiviert sein... Aber das muss doch ohnehin aktiviert sein, damit er überhaupt das ILS einfängt 🤔

A340-600 Autoland

Guter Hinweis: Es war die 01 (hatte die Charts in dieser Hinsicht nicht gecheckt, da ich davon ausgegangen war, dass dieser riesige Airport auf allen Bahnen per AUTOLAND zu erreichen ist). Aber wenn ich Dich richtig verstehe, wäre es trotzdem möglich gewesen, wenigstens den AP2 zusätzlich zu aktivieren, wie Du es ja bei normalen ILS-Landungen auch machst. Kann es sein, dass für das erfolgreiche Einschalten des zweiten AP zwingend erforderlich ist, zuvor die APPR-Taste zu drücken. Eventuell hatte ich die noch nicht aktiviert.

Man Flex not engaging on Takeoff

Hi, so I've done a couple of flights now, one currently ongoing and in both scenarios I have filled the Takeoff performance data according to the data calculated in the EFB and filled out weights in the same manner, when advancing the throttles the plane does not engage Man Flex even though the throttles are in the MCT/Flex detent already calibrated in the EFB, neither does it show in the PFD as Man Flex, consequently the A/T doesn't engage at all and only in the air can I then manually click the A/T button and then it shows only MCT and now allows me to switch to CLMB thrust. Don't know exactly if this is a calibration issue or a software issue. I have to note that the engine display screen does show the setting for Man Flex and the temperature set previously.

Aerosoft One not responding after buying A340-600

It seems pretty obvious to me that once Aerosoft have your money they don't care about any issues.
Although the product shows up in the Aerosoft folder that it setup for me when I bought my first product (it didn't give me a choice and my sim is on it's own separate drive), it doesn't show up for selection once you load the sim and I can't use it - 3 emails later I've had one response which was basically "we'll get back to you" - now 4 days ago as opposed to their 2 day response.
I have never had any problem with other products (PMDG,IniBuilds, Just Flight etc.) installing and working correctly.
Let's see if they have the courage to publish my problem on the board - I doubt it - I'm sure I just wasted both my time and my money.

A340-600 Autoland

Da muss bei Dir irgend etwas Anderes die Nutzung des zweiten AP verhindert haben. Auch bei ganz normalen CAT1 ILS Anflügen - z.B. gestern auf die 27 in Boston - schalte ich meistens den zweiten AP dazu (SOP bei vielen Fluggesellschaften), und bei mir ging er ganz normal auf CAT3 Dual mit beiden APs. Hab dann eine automatische Landung nicht ausprobiert - weil nicht nötig - aber ich würde davon ausgehen, dass es dann auch funktioniert.

EDIT: Du bist nicht zufällig die RW01 oder RW28 angeflogen, oder? Die sind nämlich CAT1 only, und damit nicht Autoland-fähig...
