    • Dear Aerosoft Support Team, I am writing to seek assistance with updating my FF767 product. I purchased the FF767 from the Aerosoft Store approximately six months ago. Today, when launching the simulator, I was notified that a new version (1.6.22) is available. My current version is 1.6.21. Following the instructions, I used the X-Updater to perform the update. I correctly entered the email address I used for the purchase and the product activation key. However, the X-Updater immediately displayed an “Authorization Failed” error message. I have tried the process multiple times, carefully double-checking for any typos in my email and activation key, but the issue persists. I am unable to proceed with the update. Could you please assist me in resolving this authorization issue so I can update my software? Any guidance or a solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support. Best regards, yh

    • Hello, I would like to use this thread to talk about the general quality of the airport scenery and its textures, as well as some suggestions that could improve the scenery overall. First of all, I want to focus on the jetway/terminal area. As you can see, the jetway building itself uses only a few basic textures instead of proper materials. No normal maps are used; otherwise, for example, the lines on the building would have a real 3D effect. Take a look at this good example from Manchester. They used a rather low-resolution and not particularly attractive texture for the door right in front of the aircraft parking area — an area with very high visibility for every user at the gate. However, they used normal maps to make the door look three-dimensional, which actually creates depth, shadows, and a much more realistic appearance.   This is exactly the technique that could be used for the gate building structure here.       At the moment, it seems to use only a single flat texture or colour. There is no real material definition, no reflections, nothing at all.   Can we also talk about the surroundings of the buildings? Why is everything completely empty? Here are examples from Manchester and Brussels.     Another thing that would significantly improve the overall look is the lighting — which, honestly, looks absolutely awful and is a well-known issue. Guys, we are in 2025 and using MSFS. These lights look like copy-and-paste textures from the old P3D days. Even in P3D, proper 3D lights were possible to implement. This is how lighting should look. Not to mention that some lights are missing entirely (in MSFS 2024?), for example the beacon on the tower.     Finally, the terminal window fronts look very poor by today’s standards. This is Brussels. Jo did an amazing job here creating a realistic window façade with proper reflections, glass materials, and detailed frames. I know that we probably won’t see any major improvements here, as it would require a complete rebuild. Still, I wanted to point out these aspects, because in my opinion they are the key reasons why Munich looks so outdated and bad today.   Sadly.   Kind regards, Timm
    • To activate the autopilot the following requirements need to be fulfilled: • All flight control computers (FCC) are operative • At least one channel of horizontal trim is available • At least one yaw damper is engaged • At least one IRS system is available • At least one air data computer (ADC) is available • No significant instability of the aircraft
