Emi 5161
The Topic has been updated, yesterday there wasn`t a word aboud FS2004 in topic Of cause there was. Maybe you just read the topic from your mobile where it doesn't say "For FSX and FS9". But on a mobile it's normal that thos won't get shown. Anyway, don't complain about that, just be happy that you will be able to enjoy this scenery from your FS9
Thorsten42 12
Hi, nice to get a ping of life on EDDL. First shoots looking very promising. But one question rising when seeing the news topic: Mega Airport Düsseldorf !? Is the German Airport series going to die? I mean Frankfurt and Munich are quite big. But Düsseldorf as a Mega Airport? Or are you going to include Mönchengladbach as part of Düsseldorf like in real life? Otherwise as flying nearly every week from Düsseldorf in real life it's nice to get an update on this long awaited topic. Ah before I forget, please include the EDDL typical 5R/23L for starting and 5L/23R for landing. Cheers Thorsten

Marco3009 1
It was once spoken of it that comes out along with Dusseldorf Moenchengladbach in a wooden floor that is still the case or appear only in Düsseldorf.

89vliegaap 1
Aus dem Jeppesen Karten: Then, the rest in English so everyone understands, I think that the mega airport title is deserved since as far as I know Düsseldorf is the third largest German airport, allthough it does not look that big if you are there. Frankfurt and München are much larger. But I'm happy with this product. Now I mostly fly from/to Amsterdam, but in real I really prefer Düsseldorf. (Much closer, more comfortable airport). So I am planning to move my IVAO operations do Düsseldorf as well.

Looks like they are using the parallel option at least for the morning and evening hours and that's when I fly most. Interesting indeed. So they have about 8h a day for parallel service. As long as I'm able to change it later for my own preferred version I'm happy with this. To be honest I still like this parallel option more and thats the good thing with a Sim. It doesn't has to follow real world regulations But in the end we all agree on one thing: We all wait for EDDL and as we know Aerosoft we will be happy with the final product Cheers Thorsten
Thorsten42 12
...ah before I forget. There was indeed a semi official announcement back some time that EDDL and EDLN would be in one MAP package. The relicts can be read in this thread, but the source thread referred to doesn't exist anymore. It is for both Versions and it looks great in both Versions. And the EDDL Version for FS9 is not up to date. There are new taxiways and so on. We are all waiting for a new Verison . We should all be happy that the airport will be programmed for both Versions . Best regards Christian
Alexander Wurz 42
Finally EDDL - flew for 1.5 Years every week the route LOWW-EDDL-LOWW for business as a passenger - now I will be able to fly it in the SIM myself. TAR547 1
Hi, firstly I want to mention that the scenery looks great, and realistic as I know it from the real airport ramp. But I advice the Aerosoft Team to be patient and wait until the last Building between Terminal B and C are finish.

Maybe they'll make this like Zurich scenery and build the airport the way it'll look when the current construction work at Düsseldorf is finished. But of cause that's just spectaculation.
