Da ich kürzlich XP12 auf ein neues und leistungsstärkeres Gaming Notebook umgestellt habe, hatte ich um die 60 FPS bei meinen Testflügen. Ich hatte die Version 12.2.1 heruntergeladen. Als ich dann gestern die aktuelle Beta-Version installierte, lagen die FPS nur noch bei 30 bis 40. Also schnell wieder zurück zu 12.2.1  mit wieder 60 FPS. Vielleicht liegt das Problem ja in der Beta-Version.   Gruß Reiner C.

Ich hatte schon mehrfach solche Effekte.   Geholfen hat eine Zweitinstallation, der ich aus der Erstinstallation (vorher umbenennen, z.B. X-Plane 12-ALT) den Aircraft- und Custom Scenery-Ordner durch Verschieben hinzugefügt habe. Mit den Plugins habe ich genauso verfahren.   Bei mir hat es geholfen und der Aufwand ist begrenzt.   Gruß Horst

Hallo Michael, ich hatte mit einer Einstellung von Ortho4XP Aussetzer. Kannst Du ein Flug ohne Orthos durchführen. Probier auch mal, wie dein PC reagiert, wenn Du den Schatten auf Hoch setzt.   Vielleicht deaktivierst Du auch Zink.

Hallo Zusammen, seit sehr langer Zeit bricht die Performance bei mir ein. Im Zuge der FPS Einbrüche habe ich meine Einstellungen in XP schon reduziert. Trotz dieser Reduktion gibt es aus heiterm Himmel stets Aussetzer ( kurze bis langfristige FPS Aussetzer) Hierfür verantwortlich ist offensichtlich nicht die GRAKA sonder die CPU. Beispiel; Ich bin von EDWI nach EDXH ( Wilhelmshafen==>Helgoland) mit der C172 Analog ( AFL) unterwegs. Außer dem Flieger ist alles Standard. Der Weg von Wilhelmshafen nach Helgoland ist nicht weit, aber kaum bin ich 12Nm vor dem Ziel, bricht die Performance zusammen. Von 60 FPS auf 5 !          Wenn die Frames runtergehen, hat die CPU eine Framezeit von >0,3   Meine Hardware ( und das ist schon ärgerlich genug, habe ich  im Jahr 2022 extra!! für XP12 gekauft ) scheint wohl der Technologie hinterher zu hängen?    Meine Frage an Euch Experten. Die Konfiguration des Rechners ist in der Bildunterschrift. Was muß ich ändern, um zufrieden zu sein? So wie es sich derzeit darstellt, bin ich es nicht.   Hier noch die entsprechenden Files Log.txt scenery_packs.ini        

Good day everyone,   My name is Lucas, I am from Argentina and I have downloaded FSX from Steam and purchased A320 from Aerosoft.   i’m having troubles with estimated position in PROG page, once I start flying position diverts to enormous values like 10 or 20 nm over the required one leading on huge dificultes to fly RNP approaches or even trying to fly any type of FPA app due to lack of positioning from FMCG.   I hope you can understand my issue and I apologize if this was already sales, I couldn’t get to find any response through the searcher.   Thanks

I don't see immediately what could cause a low volts warning, but as you seem to use the default profile instead of setting  each switch yourself so that you know exctly what they are doing, it is possible that a default XPlane function has an unrelated effect in this particular addon. What I suggest is to unassign each button one by one until the warning doesn't appear anymore, then you will know what button is linked to the warning generating function in Xplane.   As a general rule when using 3rd-party addons, you should not relay on default assignments but instead start from an empty profile and build you own assignments so that you know exactly what each button is doing.  

I've updated the Thandra Bonanza before and also XPlane-12 with the last release. Same issue.

Pause the sim, tweak your settings, and use the sim screenshot itself to render a screenshot; it can do up to 12K!  This works the same on a high-end and a low-end CPU. You will gain absolutely nothing with a Xeon, other than getting moderate framerates and a lot of heat.  A Ryzen 7 9800X3D will be faster in anything you describe.    A minimal OS made sense 20 years ago, but these days, with Windows 11, the resource management of the OS is highly capable, and you would need to do very weird stuff to have an impact on the sim. Keep in mind, it runs in a sandbox, so it just needs enough memory.
