Hello! I originally wanted to post this using the email provided by the SimCheck website but found out that the email is now invalid. I also found out that Bjorn has been offline since 2018, so I don't think contacting him would be any help, so I decided to post it here! I would like to know if the developers would kindly make the A300 add-on be re-released for FSX and FS2004 for free but without support, please? Many add-ons released years ago for FSX and other sims are now being taken off the shelves and discontinued, without making them free or available for download, essentially making them lost media. And it is wasteful because these developers work hard to make these amazing plane add-ons, only for them to abandon it when a newer, more advanced simulator comes out. I just wanted to ask if any of the developers could prevent that from happening. I know you discontinued the add-on for years already, but I just wanted to ask if you could perhaps release it as a donationware or a freeware add-on? And if you think this is too much, making the product having no official support would help. An example is the FS Passengers add-on that was released for free by the official developers a year ago. After 20 years of being a payware add-on with support, they have finally released the add-on for free but not providing support. It is a fair win-win as the developers don't have to be stressed on trying to support a 20-year-old program while the users who have always wanted to get it, have finally gotten it for free, with the trade-off that if they encounter problems, the developers won't help them and instead, up to them to fix it themselves or ask other users for help. I want that to happen to your A300 add-on as well. Even though Thomas Ruth exists, many people think your A300 Add-on is the BEST A300 for legacy flight simulators as it has a realistic cockpit and exterior model. So, I want to ask again, could you please release the A300 add-on for free, or at least give it to me for free and I will re-release it? It would be greatly appreciated for the users who still use FSX and other simulators today. Thank you and I hope you have a nice day!
