Guys,

the main problem usually is the fact that the AsInput.ini is not properly installed due to a language conflict - not a new issuue anyway. I use the German FSX version and therefore the proper path for this *.ini file is "C:\Users\--\Documents\Flight Simulator X-Dateien\AerosoftAirbusExtended" however the .*ini file was only installed into teh English Path reading "Flight Simulator X Files\AerosoftAirbusExtended" instead of "-Dateien". Just copy the AsInput.ini inot both paths and everything works...

Same here, Saitek. Giving up for today. I found out, that A/T arms when going into Alpha Protection. After that I was able to give thrust.But the throttles never moved. Good Luck Aerosoft. The beginning is never easy, but we are on your side! Now you have not like 10 Testers but hundreds.

For further help please state:

- Number of hardware throttles You use

-Using FSX standard axis assignment OR FSUIPC assignment.

For those with only one throttle lever assigned:

Goto

(Win 7):

C:\Users\User_name\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\AerosoftAirbusExtended\

NOTE !! that the exact name can depend on You OS language, for German i will be:

C:\Users\User_name\Documents\Flight Simulator X Dateien\AerosoftAirbusExtended\

If no folder named \AirbusExtended\ can be found in You local language folder, then copy that folder from the english folder into the local.

(Win XP):

C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\AerosoftAirbusExtended\

See above for other languages than english.

Open AsInput.ini with notepad.

Check that it looks like this:

[Common]

Logging=1

NullZone=0

[FlightControls]

Enable=1

[FADEC]

AxesCount=1

//InvertAxes=1

Event1=AXIS_THROTTLE_SET

//AxesCount=2

//Event1=AXIS_THROTTLE1_SET

//Event2=AXIS_THROTTLE2_SET

If using two throttle levers:

[Common]

Logging=0

NullZone=0

[FlightControls]

Enable=1

[FADEC]

//AxesCount=1

//InvertAxes=1

//Event1=AXIS_THROTTLE_SET

AxesCount=2

Event1=AXIS_THROTTLE1_SET

Event2=AXIS_THROTTLE2_SET

Experiment with enabeling the axis invertion by removing the slashes // before: //InvertAxes=1 to read:

InvertAxes=1

If using FSUIPC assignment, make sure that the throttles are not assigned in the FSX controller menu.

Then open the FSUIPC menu and go to Axis assignment and set a checkmark in Aircraft specific?

Setup each throttle axis to read like this:

post-7458-0-89750700-1355778674_thumb.jp

Then select the Joystick calibration tab and make it look like this:

post-7458-0-78181500-1355778753_thumb.jp

Now go into the \Flightsimulator X\ mainfolder, find the \Modules\ folder and find the FSUIPC4.ini file and open it with notepad.

Find this line:

ShortAircraftNameOk=

and ensure it reads:

ShortAircraftNameOk=Yes

Now find the entry for the Airbus X Extended that could look like this (depending on what type and livery was used during FSUIPC asignment)....

[JoystickCalibration.Airbus A320 Aer Lingus EI-DEK]

and change it to:

[JoystickCalibration.Airbus A32]

Do the same for this line:

[Axes.Airbus A320 Aer Lingus EI-DEK]

to make it read:

[Axes.Airbus A32]

Thank you Oskar, this was the solution for me! (CH-throttle quadrant)

Same Problems here, i used the Saitek Yoke + 2 Throttles

1+2 Throttle:

Leveler 1 = Speedbracke

Leveler 2 = Reverser from Thrust One

Leveler 3 = Thrust 1

Leveler 4 = Thrust 2

Leveler 5 = Reverser from Thrust Two

Leveler 6 = Flaps

all configurated about the FSX Menu himelf..

Speedbrackes/Reverser & Flaps are working fine

Problem ist Leveler 3+4 (Thrust Leveler)

in all other a/c it works perfect !!!

AsInput:

[Common]

Logging=1

NullZone=0

[FlightControls]

Enable=1

[FADEC]

AxesCount=1

InvertAxes=1

Event1=AXIS_THROTTLE_SET

//AxesCount=2

//Event1=AXIS_THROTTLE1_SET

//Event2=AXIS_THROTTLE2_SET

please help, i'm on the taxiway and can't roll :mecry_s:

Ok guys, just to sum it up: The solution to this problem is copying the whole content of the Airbus X Extended folder from the folder where your defaultflightplans are saved in (Names can vary, which is the reason for the problem I believe) to the Flight Simulator X Files/AerosoftAirbusExtended folder. This should solve the problem.

If not please report back and perform the other suggestions from this thread.

If you have a local version of FSX, try what is described in this pos http://forum.aerosof...up/#entry428840

You should have 2 FSX settings folders in Documents one is Flight Simulator X Files, and the other is a localised or translated version of the same ( in your FSX version language ex French, German etc ). Just copy the file AsInput.ini from C:\Users\Semir\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\AerosoftAirbusExtended to the other, localised one so that it's in BOTH folders.

Hope it helps. And thanks for the original outhor of this solution.

Please try to copy the \AirbusExtended\ folder both into Your German and English \Flight Simulator X Dateien\ / \Flight Simulator X files\

I think its a localisation problem.
