  1. Thanks. There is no problem to start the engines after PB is completed -GSX proposes such a procedure in Northern Europe quite often in winter due to icing conditions! But now I got you problem e. g. you want to start the TAXI CL quite early e. g. not waiting until the plane has reached a ground speed of 10 knots! This is quite easy: In such a case start the CL manually from the MCDU3 menu..... ! Regards, Rolf
  2. John, It seems that there is something wrong with your "autosave" function. Try to save a flight using the P3D function and load it again. You will see that the ECAM fuel amount after loading the flight again is the same then before saving. If not then please send us some screenshots before saving and after loading. Also some information about the model you are using as well as the update version. There is no way to change the FOB during a flight because this would be more than unrealistic..... Regards, Rolf
  3. Hi, first let me ask one question from my point of view: What do you mean by "can only get up to GS9-10".? The next question then: Which PB procedure you are using - GSX or the internal MCDU3 one? If you are talking about the internal MCDU3 and the minimal distance of 9 feet: This is the minimum distance and this limit comes from P3D and has not been changed since FSX. We cannot do anything to change this because it is out of our responsibility. The only option I suggest is not to start the engines in such a case during PB but after if has been finished and the brakes are set...... I believe then the TXI CL should work........ If I am wrong please then please let me know the exact procedure you are using (step-by-step) and I will have a look resp. find a solution / work around for you. Regards, Rolf
  4. Sorry for maybe the misunderstanding. I thought we were talking about "boarding" crew and pilots and not about "deboarding". BOARDING of crew and pilots: Only implemented in case C&D aircraft state is loaded first. In case of TA is used no boarding of crew and pilots. DEBOARDING of crew and pilots: When a flight is finished we do not know what the user intends to do e. g. starts another flight (TA) or shuts the plane down to C&D. As in most of the cases the plane will be used again for a TA we therefore generally disabled the deboarding function for crew and pilots. I do not see any possibility to change this! Regards, Rolf
  5. Switching on STROBE LIGHTS depends on the SOP and model used. Those are different from airline to airline. The SOP we use is based on AUTO and on "our" model (in case of AUTO) those lights are switched to ON if the plane is airborne. Sorry, but you have to live with it like it is. Regards, Rolf
  6. OK, but even in RL if you have to make certain settings or checks you have to look away from your "flightdeck foward" view - only if you do not care and let the CL and CoP run the procedures, you can always look "flightdeck forward" -. But I agree that the current ViewFocus version is a little bit annoying escpecially when the plane is moving and you cannot see what is going on outside. We will release soon an enhanced version of the ViewFocus which solves this problem. If the plane is moving p.e. and the TAXI CL is running then between the various settings / checks always a break is implemented and during that break the view automatically changes to "flightdeck forward". So you are able to steer the plane....... Regards, Rolf
  7. Gary, looking through all you threads - even the one you placed on the GSX-forum - I believe that something is completely wrong with your total installation. No one is able to reproduce the issues you mentioned anymore after updating to 1.0.0.7. I stongly suggest to deinstall GSX completely and reinstall it again and then update the GSX installation using FSDT Live Update. Rolf
  8. That is a "number" key (starting with 1 and ending with 9) on your main keyboard - not on the numeric pad - !
  9. It depends what you are doing after the PARKING CL has been finished. If you wait for 5 minutes then automatically TA state is loaded again...... So there are a lot of options for the pilots and crew boarding as well as deboarding. We decided to handle it as it is now and until now no one has ever had an issue with this...... Regards, Rolf
  10. There are two possibilities to fuel the plane: GSX or the internal MCDU3 one. First enter the fuel amount into the MCDU3 LOAD AND FUEL menu with LSK3L. If you want to use GSX for fueling then open the GSX menu and the select the fueling option. We have no influence how long it takes and when the truck will arrive. But I know that GSX has some options in this respect. Please have a look into their documentation. If you do not want to use GSX (e.g. no truck) then just push LSK3R and the fueling will immediately start. But you cannot use both function you have either select GSX or use LSK3R. Regards, Rolf
  11. There is nothing which has been changed in this respect with update 1.0.0.7. What do you mean by "lose the copilot"? Is it the function e. g. he does no settings anymore or are you just missing all his calls? In case of "missing" settings please check the MCDU3 CHECKLIST menu if the copilot is still enabled. Because using hotkey 1 you can start a checklist and with hotkey 2 the copilot is disabled. Regards, Rolf
  12. This is not an issue but done intentional. The pilots and crew are only boarding if the AIRCRAFT STATE = C&D is used. In case TURNAROUND is used no pilots and crew are boarding because this is a turnaround and they are already on board. Regards, Rolf
  13. Hi Rich, I found the issue e. g. why the checklist did not commence to "CLIMB or NEW APPROACH" (after GoAround has been completed). Those changes will be part of the next update. Regards, Rolf
  14. Jonas, I found and solved the issue mentioned. The resp. changes I made in the Checklist will be part of the next update for all models. Regards, Rolf
  15. Please enable in the MCDU3 - OPTIONS - VIEWS and then the VIEW SYSTEM to ON as well as the EXTERIOR VIEW BAR......!
  16. This issie should have been solved already with 1.0.0.6! So please update to the current version 1.0.0.7!
  17. Hi Rich, confirmed e. g. there seems to be a problem and I will have a detailed look into the code next week. It means there is nor more need to prepare a video! Let you know when I have finished my investigation. Regards, Rolf
  18. Jonas, I just checked it in the A320 CFM and the CVR is automatically switched OFF after the two engines are started. So please tell me more about the issue you detected. Are you talking about the Professional e.g. the 64 version? Which model you used e. g. A318/A319, A320/A321 or the A330? Please check if the CVR is automatically switched OFF after both engines are started and AVAIL The reason is quite simple as it should not be ON during the whole flight because this is the normal procedure e.g. the CVR is automatically running. It is manually set to ON during cockpit preparation also to cover the period until the engines are started and fully available. Regards, Rolf
  19. Please update the A330 to 1.0.0.7 which ar least should solve this issue....... Regarding your other issue. The appearence of the message that the "Descent Prep CL" will start in ..... is calculated in a different way and has nothing to with the display of the T/D on the MCDU as well as the ND. Normally the T/D is already calculated when all flight preparations are finished e. g. all relevant information entered in the MCDU and that means a complete finished INIT B page / FUEL PREDICTION including ZFW/ZFWCG and BLOCK fuel. So please after that check the F-PLAN page and the T/D pseudo waypoint should be already there and calculated. Regards, Rolf
  20. Thanks for your information and we will check this. Regards, Rolf
  21. Marcus, in respect to GA nothing has been changed since a long time and it should work as required even on the A330. A detailed GA description you find in the A31X/A32x documentation folder "Vol6 Step-by-Step Tutorial" in chapter 12.22 on page 122. One question: After initiating GA did you remove the F-PLAN DISCONTUNITY between the GA flight path and a new approach? Regards, Rolf
  22. A new update 1.0.0.7 is available now which regarding the checklist and copilot solves the following issues: BEFORE ENGINE START CL: Starting issue in connection with GSX closing doors - solved - ECAM PAGES: Manually selected by CL are now reset to standard when next CL item is called CHRONO FO: Set ON when takeoff thrust is set and stopped after landing VC LIGHTS: When C&D as well as TO state is used VC-lights are automatically set to "flight" when TAXI CL is started LANDING LIGHTS: Were not really ON after descending below 10k feet even that OVHD switch was ON - solved BEFORE TAKEOFF - Landing Lights are now automatically switched on when plane enters the departure runway. I therefore will close this topic and ask you if there are still " checklist issues" to open a new thread. Regards, Rolf
