  1. Dieter, did you follow the procedure I suggested: After pertorming a GA please follow the GA flight path which normally ends in a holding. In the MCDU FPLAN after the holding you will find a F-PLAN DISCONTINUITY and the flight plan for another approach starting with the first FINAL WPT. Leave the holding, delete the discontinuity and set a managed heading course to that first FINAL WPT or use DIR TO and RADIAL IN. At the right distance automatically the APPROACH CL will start again. After that it is the same procedure like for the first approach? If yes, then please tell me exactly much more details of your specific flight so that I am able to reproduce it because until now you are the only one having this problem and maybe it is an airport / flight plan specific issue. Which plane / model are you using? At which airport and approach this happens? Please send me a screenshot of the MCDU F-PLAN page after you performed the GA or maybe a saved flight state before you started the approach (all 5 files which are saved in the C:\Users\Your name\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Files) Regards, Rolf
  2. Alessandro, that means that some of the previous "take off settings" like gear, flaps or something else have not been made as required. I suggest you use the checklist with copilot and then please tell me what the last called item you heard was before the checklist stopped working. Regards, Rolf
  3. Sorry, but there is no reset option for the checklist. After takeoff what did the INFOBAR state? Did you see the message CLIMB TO CRZ LEVEL or something similar? Did you reach the flight level enetered in the MCDU? Regards, Rolf

  5. Can you please name us the model you are talking about (e.g. A318-A321 or A330) because the checklists are different. Also we need the P3D version you are using e.g. P3D v4.5 or P3D v5.0. Then we can try to reproduce the issue you mentioned. Until now you seem to be the only user having this problem and therefore I doubt that it is related to the checklist software - also because we changed nothing in respect to flaps during the last cpouple of months. Maybe something happened during the update and first I suggest to make a new clean fresh install of the airbus version you are using. Regards, Rolf

  7. The checklist is based on certain settings during the various flight stages - please see the table below. The copilot exactly makes these settings. If you do not use the copilot then you have to follow this procedures. You cannot create / use your own procedures but have to follow this. Otherwise it will not work. And those settings have nothing to do with GSX. SIGNS / ACFT-States and Checklists A330 C&D STATE TA STATE Cockp. Prep. Cockp. Prep. 8. There are various things happening before the CL really starts e. g. you hear the PF saying "BEFORE START CL". To find out more what maybe causes the issue on your system please check the following: Do you start from C&D/TA or are you using a saved flight? Do you see on the INFOBAR the message "CLOSE DOORS or GSX: PREPARE FOR PUSHBACK" and does it stay there all the time? (MCDU3 OPTIONS/CHECKLISTS INFOBAR=ON) Do you hear a "beep" Move your thrust levers forward and then back - maybe recalibrate the throttle on your joystick In the MCDU3 OPTIONS / SOUND please set CABIN CREW to ON Maybe this helps to find the issue. Please report back.
  9. About which model you are talking because the CL for the smaller models and the A330 are different. Have you updated to the latest experimental version available for your plane? And did you check in the MCDU3 that after using GSX really all doors / windows are closed?
  10. Did you check if there is a T/D pseudo waypoint in your flight plan? This is necessary for the "pause" because otherwise we do not know when to "pause" the flight.
  11. Sorry, but I cannot reproduce the issue and have no clue what could cause this behaviour. Also nothing has been changed in this respect since a long time.
  12. Still having this problem after searching the forum and following the advice m.a.?
  13. Regarding "set belt signs" there are so many different procedures worldwide used - depending on airline and type of plane. But we can stick to one only in the CL and that is what we implemented. But if there are turbulences it is no problem to switch them ON again. Sorry but we will not adjust / change this. Regards, Rolf
  14. Please tell us first, which version you are using / talking about e.g. P3D v4.5 or P3D v5 as well as the update. Your installation should be on the actual experimental Airbus version. If you look into this section of the forum you will find a lot of threads dealing with the same subject and all could be solved. If you have GSX installed I allways sugest (after the Cockpit Preparation CL has been finished) just to use the GSX function "Prepare for Pushback". This function automatically removes the jetway, closes all doors etc. and automatically the "Before Start CL" should start......(running in parallel with the GSX pushback).
  15. Christian, what sim (FSX, P3D v4.5, P3D v5), model (A318, A319, A320; A321, A330) and version (using the updater) you are using? Because in the actual version of all models for P3D v4.5 and v5 those instruments are no longer synchronized and can be set individually! Regards, Rolf
  17. Anbei die gewünschten Dateien....... Gruß Rolf diffManager_Ignored.cfg diffManager_Archived.cfg

  20. It seems that the root problem is the configuration of the addon-airport used e. g. there is a conflict between what you see in the sim and the AFCAD file used. Therefore the CL does not recognize the runway itself and when you left it. This is the reason why the AFTER LANDING CL does not start. So please check the addon-airport itself and that the AFCAD file is correct or maybe it is the sequence in the scenery.cfg used. I therefore close this issue. Regards, Rolf

  22. I think I now know what causes that behaviour. It is related to the ECAM RECALL check - the next one after the APU FIRE TEST. For this test it is necessary that the Displays-Selftest is finished (app. after 40 seconds) and the standards are displayed. To me it seems that after the C&D aircraft state has been loaded you are immediately starting the Cockpit Preparation CL. Normally before starting the CL the EXT PWR is set to ON, then the 3 batteries are set off and the NAV & LOGO as well as the STROBE light are set to AUTO = 1. Make sure that the displays selftest has been finished and then start the CL. I strongly advise to follow SOP and as well care for the CL - do not do something different when it is running - and maybe also use ViewFocus. Then you would have realized that when the ECAM lower screen is in selftest that the ECAM Recall check cannot be performed. Regards, Rolf
  24. Dale, sorry but I cannot confirm / reproduce the issue - just landed in KBOS 33L without any issues e. g. the CL commenced until the Parking CL. To help you I need the exact information where the CL stopped e. g. which CL and exact at which item. The best would be if you could prepare a video starting at that moment when in the INFOBAR appears that the APPR CL is available...... Then I can have a look and see what maybe you are doing or what is going wrong. Thanks. Kind regards, Rolf
  25. In the P3D Scenario Menu select "Options", then "Control Calibration" and then "Calibrate Device". A new separate screen will open called "Gamecontroller" and you should see "Logitech Extreme 3D". Select it and use "Properties" to test / change the settings...... That's it!
