  1. Dear @ametlib, so I went to your profile and read every single post of yours, from all of which exactly 3 (maybe 4) had actualy something to do with reporting a "BUG". All other posts of yours were merely additions to threads without any specifics, or insults towards AS team of developers and testers. So I'm just curios: are you going to keep the same attitude? I'm just curious.... *************************** And now back to the topic: I'm not going to a 3rd party forum where we don't offer any support on to check for reports. You need suport, you come here and ask for it! If you have ANY issues to report or Q to ask, please be so kind to open threads providing any information we need to assist YOU, as we do with ALL of our customers. Thank you!

  3. To be totally honest, we do not feel the need to involved in this. Most, if not all, items have been discussed to death on our forums. If people want to repeat those discussions on other forums they should feel free to so, but without us. Some issues are on the list as being open, and so noted Some issue have been sorted out and will be delivered in an update. Most of those so noted. Some issues are simply totally not being able to be recreated on our systems and have been proven to be solved by a clean install of the sim. This has been shown on our forums time and time again. Many issues are simply limitations of the simulator at this moment. All that is clearly replied to on our forums. Most of our comments are simply totally ignored. They can be found rather easily and we believe that repeating things time and time again just makes no sense. As always we are more than willing to discuss these issue on our forums as long as they are done respectfully. Repeating them on other forums is not in our interest. And because I did not found any issue not already discussed here or in tickets, I am closing this. I am sure some people will see this as a vicious attack on free speech but these are our forums and we decide what is welcome here. If you have an issues please add new information to the topic about that issue. If you a new issue, please make a new topic as we are always wanting to learn more about possible problems. If you believe posting in forums that we do not follow will solve the issues you have, by all means, do so. We check these forums every two weeks so if there is any new info it will be inserted in our bug trackers at some time.

    I had a lot of fun learning this aircraft and creating this profile , I have had a few people test for me with success but please let me know if you have any questions or need assistance with the profile PM me. This was created in P3dv5.2 HF 2 - there is a picture of the configuration of the profile in the PDF check that for the throttle pieces you need. Included is the JSON that is Both Profiles Built into the Export for both the Alpha and Bravo Profiles. The BaseDash8Controls.xml is the P3D controls exported this set in the simulator controls section under the import option towards the bottom of the menu. Please read through the Majestic Dash8 Profile Description PDF for a full list of bindings and interactions. You will always find users complaining about how "they feel" they are threated, and you will not find them only here and concerning the CRJ, but everywhere. I did Q your attitude because going through your postings over your profile, I simply could not find lots of reported issues from your side, but some comments that I interpreted to show some kind of attitude / or tone. But please let's close this debate and stick to issues with the CRJ. *Thank you*

  8. Rund um die Nordsee - Teil 2 Danke nochmal für die Links, Heinz... Nachdem ich den Flieger beim ersten Versuch nochmal geschrottet habe, hier der zweite Versuch meiner Weiterreise. Jaja... RTFM gilt auch hier... Man gut, dass ich die PDF eines original Handbuchs von 1947 habe... Da steht auch genau drin, wie man landet... Hilft ungemein, wenn man sich das mal durchliest. Also, wieder schönstes Wetter auf Baltrum. Lauer Wind... Da die Startbahn extrem kurz ist, habe ich nach dem Warmlaufen die Bremsen voll angezogen, dann die Landeklappen auf Stufe 2 und den Schubhebel voll rein... Kurz gewartet und als der Flieger fast vorne über kippen will, die Bremsen gelöst... Yeah, es klappt... Kurz vor Ende des Runways hebt er ab. Höhe gewonnen und Kurs West... Ich will nach Ameland... Keine Ahnung, was mich da erwartet. Ich hangele mich an Norderney... Juist... ... Und Borkum entlang nach... Holland... Ab jetzt ist alles Neuland... Bin bisher fast nur in Norddeutschland herumgegondelt. Da ich den Flugplatz von Ameland nicht kenne, werde ich erst einmal einen Blick von oben riskieren. Ok... Nicht wirklich riesig und Graspiste... Aber eine schöne Landmarke hat es da... Ein Solarfeld, was man sehr gut von Weitem sieht. Jetzt, da ich weiss, was mich erwartet, drehe ich wieder um. Also auf nach Osten... ... Und alles nochmal... Immer am Strand lang nach Westen... Das Solarfeld angepeilt... Und Voila, da ist die Landebahn. Schub raus... Klappen rein... Schub wieder erhöht... Und... Saaaanft reingeglitten... Touchdown... Einfach schön, wenn es klappt. Dann noch zur Abfertigung gerollert... So und jetzt erstmal ... Ne, kein Tee, der kommt später... Erstmal Fritten... Es gibt keine geileren Fritten, als die original holländischen. Wünsche allen ein schönes Wochenende. Liebe Grüsse Ly

  12. Hi Mathijs Given this, I have a Bravo throttle control. I'm interested as to whether the throttle detent (below the idle stop) will be able to be mapped to BETA range on the Otter, as this would be similar to the actual throttle range in the aircraft..

  14. Mykonos Airport (IATA: JMK, ICAO: LGMK) is the international airport of the Greek island of Mykonos. It is located 4 kilometers southeast from the town of Mykonos at a 405ft elevation. It serves flights to domestic and European metropolitan destinations due to the island being a popular leisure destination. The airport first operated in 1971. It nowadays has a single runway designated 16-34 which is connected to the apron via two small taxiways, so backtrack is needed for every departure and landing. The apron has been redesigned in 2020 to hold seven (7) parking positions, all of them requiring a pushback procedure. A renovated Terminal and a brand-new Fire station have been completed and delivered in May 2021. Mykonos airport is equipped with and NDB (FREQ:401) a VOR (FREQ:110.00) navaid and has several instrument procedures (recently including RNAV). Mykonos island is called “the island of winds”. Most days of the year strong gusting winds (usually from North/Northeast) blow at the island and the airport vicinity. Those winds along with the short runway length (6.244ft) and the hills around it make the landing a challenging procedure! Important note: 29Palms has already arranged a visit to Mykonos airport during summer 2021, to take pictures and create the renovated buildings of the airport (Terminal, fire station etc). This could not have been done earlier due to the recent delivery of the buildings (May 2021) and COVID restrictions. This update will be delivered as soon as it is ready free of charge. Features: Detailed representation of the terraforming of the airport’s surrounding area Sloped runway High-detailed 3d objects and buildings High detailed ground polygons and textures Animated apron vehicles Custom animated windsocks Detailed representation of the airport’s parking area High detailed apron including the new airport’s layout lines and signs High detailed night lighting most of it being “physical” (dynamic lighting) Fully custom taxiway, runway, reil and tower beacon lights. All the lights have been designed from scratch with custom 3d objects. Moreover, the intensity and color of their glow has been trimmed so that the outcome is much less intense and much closer to the real airport Custom Hazard beacon lights at airport’s surrounding area (on top of the surrounding hills) Custom boats and ships at the island’s port Three existing heliports are present in the scenery: Army’s Heliport at the east of the airport Marina’s Heliport close to Ornos beach Superior Air heliport close to Kalo Livadi beach Three characteristic landmarks have been added to the scenery: Windmills at Mykonos town Broken windmill at the south of the airport (close to the Terminal) A lighthouse at the north of the island

Presenting my FSX screenshot that modern MS2020, modern XP-11, and modern P3D will never never have in their flight sim platforms which is of course FSX naturally generated and FSX naturally default flooding that hit a Caribbean airport (MWCR airport) THIS IS FOR MONTHlY JUNE SCREENSHOT CONTEST Notice how flooding reaches almost top of the fence.   16. @mopperle, so that worked, sort of. The flightplan was waiting for me exactly where you said it would be, so thanks again for that. However, it's not importing correctly. It's getting the STAR right (the plan I attempted had no SID), but instead of importing the airways, it just imported a series of direct to waypoints. Having stepped through the legs, and after correcting one disco, it APPEARS to be correct, but part of me is worried about missing (or at least potentially missing) some altitude or speed restriction or something of that nature. So, my questions are this: First, is it correctable. Second, if it IS correctable, does it matter? I imagine if it's running the proper flightplan, with all the restrictions and any other pertinent info, it really doesn't. And lastly, is it something that I'm doing wrong? It usually is LOL... Lastly, an interesting note. By doing it this way, it inserted some additional waypoints into the flightplan that essentially told the MCDU where to fly the plane in the event of a missed approach to be positioned to try again, something that I don't think my manually entering the flight plan data has done. But that's something that also may be my fault, I may not realize HOW to do that, know what waypoints to put in, or likely several other ways I could have inhibited that functionality. It never even occurred to me enough to realize that I was missing what might be important information. Upon analyzing that, I *really* like the idea of having that info available, not so much because we are going to use it in the sim (though, with real weather, we might), but because above all else, I crave realism. I set the time for the NAV systems to come online to realistic, even if it means I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for the computer, because that is the level of realism I want. I am willing to make some VERY limited exceptions (like brightening up the HUD in VR, assuming such a thing is possible), because even though it may represent an unrealistic level of brightness compared to RL, the effect is MORE realism if it becomes usable during daylight hours. However, that is a whole different topic, but please don't let that stop you from commenting on it if you can.     DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT PLUGIN SAM is a native XP11 plugin offering different possibilities to scenery authors focused on animations. It is currently seperated into two main parts: Custom Datarefs You can create custom datarefs without any knowledge and control the values through a settings menu. With user checkboxes you can even let the user control animations such as opening hangars, switching lights and anything else a scenery developer might think of. Jetway Animation We made a deep dive into the world of math to create realistic jetway animations basically because the current software available is not sufficient. Now you can add jetways within seconds to a scenery. _____________________ Performance The plugin is highly optimized for performance. The most obvious part is the fact that calculations for datarefs only start when an object is loaded and in visible range. It can be used in hundreds of sceneries without any noticeable fps impact. The plugin is installed into the main plugin directory, thus it's a global plugin and not per scenery. The sceneries only contain an xml file with the settings. Library A library with pre-animated objects like Jetways, VDGS, Marshaller, Hangars, Wind Turbines etc. is the starting point for developers to experiment with. You can either use these objects or create and animate your own. License The plugin is licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 which means it is free to use for all users and for all freeware sceneries. If you are a payware developer you can get a license for your project here.
