Does this include the London city airport like the FS9 version did. I loved that airport with that awesome runway texture.

Simply stunning... I have to upgrade my PC again. Have you guys ever concidered doing one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe... Prague. Czech Republic? That would be a treat. How about doing some more US cities? I am a big fan of Aerosoft (have a lot of your products) and Thanks for the great work.

There is a City Airport there that is not bad... But later this year we will deliver a separate London City airport that will be made available as a free update for users of this product. it will be pretty high end.

No special plans for city scenery for this cities right now, but you'll never know. Certainly Berlin would be attractive.

I had a pretty good idea it was coming imminently as I was one of the beta testers for Horizon helping to hurry the final issue fixes today
It's a truly stunning piece of work and its truly amazing how Carl and the guys managed to make it so frame rate friendly.
One little tip for folks out there is that i found frame rates slightly better on "extremely dense" than i did on "very dense". And even at very sparse levels there is still a huge amount of scenery to be seen, you WILL be amazed.
Here is a couple of shots i took a few months ago, both on an old Athlon X2 4400+ with 2 gig of RAM and an ATI 1950 XTX. I now have a Quad core 6700 now and a ATI HD4870 and the frame rates are almost double in most situations for me.

THis question you can answer yourself on the product page, where you can read this:
"VFR London X will be available in boxed format when the updated London City airport is available. Customers of the download version will get a free update that includes the enhanced airport at that moment."
When you want the BOX (DVD) you need to wait.

Istalled last night and now strangely all other Aerosoft scenery has disappeared. Error on FSX startup states that they cannot be found???

And what happens when you would install Mega Heathrow anew, and put in on top in the scenery section of FSX with London below it?

This gets even stranger...when I re-install say "Heathrow" the installation does not add any files just states it is installed successfully....and of course it has not. Not even the manual is accessable. What is going on???

Don't know if this will help or not but have you tried renaming Senery.cfg to say Scenery.cfg.bak and starting FSX again??

And if I try to install a downloaded scenery such as Venice X I get the attached error message stating that it is already installed even when I check the installed programs and it is definitely not there so not only is it impossible to install it is also impossible to umistall.

I once installed a scenery that removed all my aerosoft sceneries form the scenery library. However the sceneries were all still there (on the harddrive) and I only had to add them to the library again.
Have you checked your hardrive if the actual scenery files are still there?

Unistalled all of them and am now re-installing again (after reboot) so far Heathrow and Brussels are back but Venice still will not let me istall it as it keeps saying it is already installed.

First of all, don't try to do many things now befiore we find out what's up. It's easy to make the problem worse.
I just checked the installer, but it's the same we have used on hundred of thousands of installations. But obviously something went wrong in your case. Not sure if I understand it all well now. First, let me get this straight, is the whole FSXMainFolder\Aerosoft folder gone?

So Far I have unistalled everything and then re-installed with success except for VeniceX which gives a "this product is still installed please uninstall" message. I have removed all trace of Venice X even from the registry without any luck.

Well I've purchased it so I will be heading for London tomorrow. I'm excited!
Aerosoft, I have to say that you are definately on the top above all the developers. Everyone else says that they will release a product and you have to wait for what seems forever! You put first rate products together and you deliver them in a reasonable time frame. That's why I keep coming back for more...and more...and more...
